I. VORWORT
Diese Anleitung gilt für LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT.
Die Gebrauchsanweisung dient der Information von Arzt, P󰘱egepersonal und Patient/Anwender zur Sicherung einer fach-
gerechten Handhabung.
Bitte lesen Sie die Gebrauchshinweise vor erstmaliger Anwendung des Produkts sorgfältig durch!
II. BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSER GEBRAUCH
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT dient der Angleichung des Hautniveaus eines unregelmäßigen, tie󰘱iegenden Tracheosto-
mas.
Die Sprechoption wird durch die Reduzierung von ungewollten Luftverlusten verbessert.
LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT ermöglicht über einen zusätzlichen 22 mm-Konnektor den Anschluss von Filter- und
Ventilsystemen.
Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für den Gebrauch im häuslichen Bereich vorgesehen.
III. WARNUNGEN
LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT sind Einpatientenprodukte und damit ausschließlich für die Anwendung bei einem
einzelnen Patienten - auch zum Mehrfachgebrauch - bestimmt.
Bei Erstverwendung von LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT sollte die Eignung zur Abdichtung des Tracheostomas ge-
prüft werden.
In problematischen Einzelfällen könnte die Abdichtung des Tracheostomas nicht ausreichend sein.
Bei auftretenden Hautirritationen (z.B. Rötung, Juckreiz) ist das Produkt sofort abzusetzen und ein Arzt aufzu-
suchen. Möglicherweise besteht in diesem Fall eine besondere Hautemp󰄈ndlichkeit oder allergiebedingte Unver-
träglichkeit.
IV. KONTRAINDIKATIONEN
Verwenden Sie LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT nicht, wenn eine Allergie oder Unverträglichkeit gegen das Material besteht.
Tragen Sie LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT nicht während einer Behandlung mittels Laser oder eines operativen Eingri󰘯s
mit einem Elektrokauter.
Es besteht erhebliche Verletzungsgefahr durch Hitzeeinwirkung sowie ggfs. durch die Abgabe toxischer Verbrennungs-
produkte.
Während der Strahlentherapie sollte die Benutzung von LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT aufgrund des Risikos von Haut-
irritationen vermieden werden.
Verwenden Sie nach der Strahlentherapie LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT nur nach Rücksprache mit ihrem behandelnden
Arzt. Beginnen Sie frühestens 2 Wochen nach der Strahlentherapie mit der Anwendung.

V. PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT ist eine Dichtplatte aus weichem, hautfarbenen, medizinischen Silikon.
Sie dient der Angleichung des Hautniveaus eines unregelmäßigen, tie󰘱iegenden Tracheostomas.
Die plankonvexe Form des LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT sorgt für eine hohe Qualität der Abdichtung.
Durch die Materialeigenschaften und die ergonomische Form passt sich LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT an die Haut um das
Tracheostoma an.
Neben dem reduzierten Austritt von Sekret kann hierdurch auch eine Minimierung des seitlichen Vorbeiströmens der
Atemluft erreicht werden.
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT verfügt über einen integrierten 22 mm-Konnektor, so dass ein Sprechventil/ HME Filterkas-
sette direkt in dem PAD 󰘰xiert werden kann.
LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT ist aufgrund des verwendeten Materials besonders hautfreundlich.
Es ist kein Klebsto󰘯 zur Fixierung des Produkts erforderlich.
VI. ANLEITUNG
ACHTUNG!
Achten Sie beim Ö󰓐nen der Verpackung darauf, dass das LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT unversehrt und das
angegebene Haltbarkeitsdatum nicht überschritten ist.
Reinigen Sie die Haut um das Tracheostoma mit warmen Wasser und einer pH-neutralen Seife oder mit OPTIFAHL®
Stomareinigungstüchern (REF 33200) vor einem Spiegel.
Trocknen Sie die Haut ab.
Die Haut um das Tracheostoma muss sauber, trocken und fettfrei sein.
Nach Abziehen der rückseitigen Schutzfolie ➊ platzieren Sie LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT mit der klebenden Seite mittig
über dem Tracheostoma ➋.
Anschließend können Sie eine HME Filterkassette/ ein Sprechventil in den integrierten 22 mm-Konnektor einsetzen ➌/➍.
Bevor Sie das LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT entfernen, müssen die eingesteckten Hilfsmittel entfernt werden.
Fixieren Sie hierfür das LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT mit zwei Fingern und lösen Sie die HME Filterkassette/ das
Sprechventil vorsichtig aus dem Pad ➎, um eine lange Verweildauer des Pads zu erreichen.
Entfernen Sie LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT indem Sie die Klebestreifen vorsichtig von der Haut abziehen ➏.
ACHTUNG!
Verwenden Sie keine fetthaltigen Cremes!
Ein sicherer Halt des Produkts ist sonst nicht mehr gewährleistet.
VII. REINIGUNG
Bei Patienten mit speziellem Krankheitsbild (z.B. MRSA, ORSA u.a.), bei denen eine erhöhte Gefahr für Re-
Infektionen besteht, ist eine einfache Reinigung nicht ausreichend, um den besonderen Hygieneanforderungen
zur Vermeidung von Infektionen gerecht zu werden. Bitte suchen Sie Ihren Arzt auf.

DE Reinigungsschritte
Spülen Sie LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT unter lauwarmen, laufendem Wasser sorgfältig ab.
Lassen Sie LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT anschließend in einer sauberen Umgebung trocknen.
VIII. AUFBEWAHRUNG
Gereinigte LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT, die gegenwärtig nicht in Gebrauch sind, sollten in trockener Umgebung in einer
sauberen Kunststo󰘯dose und geschützt vor Staub, Sonneneinstrahlung und/oder Hitze gelagert werden.
Noch verpackte Ersatzpads sollten in einer trockenen Umgebung und geschützt vor Sonneneinstrahlung und/oder Hitze
gelagert werden.
Zur Sicherstellung einer lückenlosen Versorgung wird dringend empfohlen, mindestens ein Ersatzpad vorrätig zu halten.
IX. NUTZUNGSDAUER
Nach 29 Tagen sollte LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT fachgerecht entsorgt und gegen ein neues Produkt ausgetauscht
werden.
Abweichungen von der zur erwartenden Tragedauer resultieren aus individuellen Tragebedingungen und Hautbeschaf-
fenheiten.
ACHTUNG!
Sollte das Material Risse oder andere Beschädigungen aufweisen, ist das Produkt sofort auszutauschen.
X. RECHTLICHE HINWEISE
Der Hersteller Andreas Fahl Medizintechnik-Vertrieb GmbH übernimmt keine Haftung für Schäden, die durch eigenmäch-
tige Produktänderungen, nicht vom Hersteller durchgeführte Reparaturen oder durch unsachgemäße Handhabung, P󰘱ege
(Reinigung/Desinfektion) und/oder Aufbewahrung der Produkte entgegen den Bestimmungen dieser Gebrauchsanwei-
sung verursacht sind.

LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT
I. FOREWORD
These instructions for use are valid for LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT.
The instructions for use serve to inform the physician, nursing sta󰘯 and patient/user in order to ensure technically correct
handling.
Please read the instructions for use carefully before using the product for the 󰄈rst time!
II. INTENDED USE
LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT is used to align the skin level of an irregular tracheostoma that is situated below the skin level.
The speech option is improved by reducing undesired air loss.
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT enables the connection of 󰘰lter and valve systems via an additional 22 mm connector.
The product is intended for domestic use only.
III. WARNINGS
LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT is a single-patient product and is thus intended exclusively for one-time or repeated
use in one individual patient.
When LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT is used for the 󰄈rst time, its suitability for sealing the tracheostoma should be
checked.
In problematic individual cases, sealing of the tracheostoma may not be su󰓑cient.
Should you experience skin Irritation (e.g. redness, itchiness), discontinue the product immediately and consult
a physician. This may be due to special skin sensitivity or allergy-related incompatibility.
IV. CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT in case of allergy or intolerance to the material.
Do not wear LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT during laser treatment or electrocautery.
There is a considerable risk of injury from exposure to heat and, if applicable, from the release of toxic combustion pro-
ducts.
Use of the LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT should be avoided while undergoing radiotherapy due to the risk of skin irritations.
After undergoing radiotherapy, only use LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT after consulting your treating physician. Start using
the tape at the earliest 2 weeks after completing radiotherapy.
V. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT is a sealing plate made of soft, skin-coloured medical silicone.
It is used to align the skin level of an irregular tracheostoma that is situated below the skin level.
The plano-convex shape of the LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT ensures high quality sealing.

Due to its material properties and ergonomic shape, the LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT adapts to the skin around the tra-
cheostoma.
In addition to reduced leakage of secretion, the lateral 󰘱ow of breathing air can also be minimised.
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT has an integrated 22 mm connector so that a speaking valve/ HME 󰘰lter cassettes can be
󰘰xated directly into the PAD.
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT is particularly skin-friendly due to the material used.
No adhesive is required to 󰘰x the pad.
VI. INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION!
When opening the packaging, make sure that the LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT is undamaged and that the indicated
use-by date has not been exceeded.
Clean the skin around the tracheostoma in front of a mirror using warm water and pH-neutral soap or OPTIFAHL®stoma
cleansing wipes (REF 33200).
Dry the skin.
The skin surrounding the tracheostoma must be clean, dry and free from grease.
After removing the protective foil backing ➊, place the LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT with the adhesive side centred over
the tracheostoma ➋.
You can then insert a HME 󰘰lter cassettes/speaking valve into the integrated 22 mm connector ➌/➍.
Before removing the LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT, the inserted aids must be removed.
To do this, 󰘰xate the LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT with two 󰘰ngers and carefully remove the HME 󰘰lter cassettes/ speaking
valve from the pad ➎ to achieve a long retention time of the pad.
Remove the LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT by carefully removing the adhesive strips from the skin. ➏
CAUTION!
Do not use any fatty creams!
Otherwise, secure attachment of the product is no longer ensured.
VII. CLEANING
General cleaning may be insu󰓑cient to meet the special hygiene requirements to prevent infections for
patients with speci󰄈c problems (e.g. MRSA, ORSA etc.), who are subject to an increased danger of re-infection.
Please consult your physician.
Cleaning Steps
Rinse the LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT thoroughly under lukewarm running water.
Then allow LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT to dry in a clean environment.

VIII. STORAGE
Currently not used and cleaned LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT should be stored in a clean plastic container in a dry
environment away from dust, sunlight and/or heat.
Still packaged replacement pads should be stored in a dry environment away from sunlight and/or heat.
We highly recommend keeping a replacement pad on hand to ensure continuous supply.
IX. PERIOD OF USE
After 29 days, the LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT should be disposed of properly and replaced with a new product.
Deviations from the expected wearing period occur as a result of individual wearing conditions and skin properties.
CAUTION!
Should the material show cracks or other damage, the product must be replaced immediately.
X. LEGAL NOTICES
The manufacturer Andreas Fahl Medizintechnik-Vertrieb GmbH will not accept any liability for damages caused by un-
authorised product alterations, by repairs not performed by the manufacturer or by improper handling, care (cleaning/
disinfection) and/or storage of the products in violation of the provisions of these instructions for use.
Should a serious adverse event occur in connection with this product of Andreas Fahl Medizintechnik-Vertrieb GmbH, this
is to be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the Member State in which the user and/or patient
are domiciled.

I. PRÉFACE

Ce mode d'emploi est destiné à informer le médecin, le personnel soignant et le patient/l'utilisateur a󰘰n de garantir l'utili-
sation correcte du dispositif.
Lire attentivement le mode d’emploi avant la première utilisation du produit !
II. UTILISATION CONFORME
Le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT sert à la compensation des di󰘯érences de hauteur de peau d’un trachéostome
irrégulier et profond.
L’option de phonation est améliorée par la réduction des pertes d’air involontaires.
Le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT permet le raccordement de systèmes de 󰘰ltre et de valve via un connecteur de
22 mm supplémentaire.
Le produit est exclusivement destiné à une utilisation domestique.
III. AVERTISSEMENTS
Les tampons LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT, même s’ils peuvent être utilisés plusieurs fois, ne doivent servir que
pour un seul et même patient.
Assurez-vous de l’éligibilité à l’étanchéi󰄈cation du trachéostome en cas de première utilisation du tampon LARY-
VOX®PAD CONNECT.
L’étanchéi󰄈cation du trachéostome peut ne pas su󰓑re dans certains cas individuels complexes.
En cas d‘irritation de la peau (p. ex. rougeurs, démangeaisons), enlever immédiatement la compresse et consulter
un médecin. Il se peut que la peau soit particulièrement sensible ou allergique au matériau.
IV. CONTRE-INDICATIONS
N’utilisez pas le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT en présence d’une allergie ou d’une intolérance au matériau.
Ne portez pas le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT au cours d’un traitement par laser ou d’une intervention chirurgicale
impliquant l’usage d’un cautère électrique.
Il existe un risque important de lésion due à l’e󰘯et de la chaleur ainsi que, le cas échéant, par le dégagement de produits
toxiques issus de la combustion.
Évitez d’utiliser le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT lors d’une radiothérapie car il peut provoquer des irritations
cutanées.
Si vous voulez utiliser le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT après une radiothérapie, vous devez en parler avec votre
médecin traitant. Après la radiothérapie, attendez au moins 2 semaines avant de commencer à l’utiliser.

V. DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT est une plaque d’étanchéité en silicone médical, souple et de couleur chair.
Elle sert à la compensation des di󰘯érences de hauteur de peau d’un trachéostome irrégulier et profond.
La forme convexe du tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT permet une étanchéité de haute qualité.
De par les propriétés de son matériau et sa forme ergonomique, le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT s’adapte à la
peau entourant le trachéostome.
Outre la réduction de l’expulsion de sécrétions, cela permet aussi une minimisation du passage latéral de l’air respiré.
Le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT présente un connecteur de 22 mm intégré qui permet d’utiliser une valve de
phonation/cassettes 󰘰ltrantes HME directement 󰘰xé au tampon.
Le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT est particulièrement respectueux de la peau en raison du matériau utilisé.
Il n’est pas nécessaire d’utiliser de la colle pour 󰘰xer le tampon.
VI. INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION
ATTENTION!
Lors de l’ouverture de l’emballage, veillez à ce que le tampon LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT soit dans un état
irréprochable et à ne pas dépasser la date limite d’utilisation indiquée.
Avec de l’eau chaude et un savon au pH neutre ou des lingettes nettoyantes spéciales OPTIFAHL®(REF 33200), nettoyez
la peau autour du trachéostome face à un miroir.
Séchez la peau.
La peau autour du trachéostome doit être propre, sèche et exempte de matières grasses.
Après avoir retiré le 󰘰lm de protection au dos du tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT ➊, appliquez la face adhésive du
tampon sur le trachéostome de manière centrée ➋.
Vous pouvez ensuite utiliser un cassettes 󰘰ltrantes HME/une valve de phonation dans le connecteur de 22 mm intégré
➌/➍.
Les auxiliaires connectés doivent être retirés avant de retirer le tampon LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT.
Pour ce faire, maintenez fermement le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT avec deux doigts et retirez avec précaution le
cassettes 󰘰ltrantes HME/la valve phonatoire du tampon ➎ pour assurer une longue durée de vie du tampon.
Retirez le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT en décollant les bandes adhésives de la peau avec précaution. ➏
ATTENTION!
N’utilisez pas de crème grasse !
Un positionnement sûr ne peut être garanti dans le cas contraire.
VII. NETTOYAGE
Pour les patients avec un tableau clinique particulier (par ex. SARM, ORSA entre autres), présentant un risque élevé de ré-
infection, un simple nettoyage ne su󰓑t pas pour assurer les conditions d’hygiène requises à la prévention d’infections.
Veuillez également consulter votre médecin.

Étapes de nettoyage
Rincez avec soin le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT à l’eau tiède et courante.
Puis, laissez le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT sécher dans un environnement propre.
VIII. STOCKAGE
Les tampons LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT nettoyés et inutilisés doivent être rangés dans une boîte en plastique propre et
stockés dans un endroit sec, frais, à l’abri des poussières et des rayons solaires.
Les tampons de rechange se trouvant encore dans leur emballage stérile doivent être stockés dans un endroit sec, frais
et à l’abri des rayons solaires.
A󰘰n d’assurer la continuité parfaite des soins, il est vivement recommandé de toujours avoir au moins deux tampons de
rechange à disposition.
IX. DURÉE D’UTILISATION
Après 29 jours, éliminez le tampon LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT de manière conforme et remplacez-le par un nouveau
produit.
L’adhésif peut rester en place plus ou moins longtemps, selon les contraintes auxquelles il est soumis et l’état de la peau.
ATTENTION!
Remplacez immédiatement le produit si le matériau présente des 󰄈ssures ou d’autres détériorations.
X. MENTIONS LÉGALES
Le fabricant Andreas Fahl Medizintechnik-Vertrieb GmbH décline toute responsabilité en cas de dégâts causés par des
modi󰘰cations arbitraires du produit, réparations non exécutées par le fabricant ou par une manipulation, un entretien (net-
toyage/désinfection) et/ou un stockage non conforme aux instructions de ce mode d'emploi.
S'il survient un événement grave en lien avec l'utilisation de ce produit d'Andreas Fahl Medizintechnik-Vertrieb GmbH,
celui-ci doit être signalé au fabricant et aux autorités responsables de l'État membre dans lequel l'utilisateur et/ou le patient
est établi.

I. PREMESSA
Le presenti istruzioni riguardano LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT.
Le istruzioni per l’uso si propongono di informare il medico, il personale paramedico e il paziente/utilizzatore sull’utilizzo
conforme e sicuro del prodotto.
Prima di utilizzare il prodotto per la prima volta leggere attentamente le istruzioni per l‘uso!
II. USO PREVISTO
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT viene utilizzato per compensare la di󰘯erenza di altezza della cute rispetto ad un tracheosto-
ma irregolare e profondo.
La riduzione di perdite d'aria indesiderate consente di migliorare la funzione fonica.
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT consente, mediante un ulteriore connettore da 22 mm, il collegamento di sistemi di 󰘰ltri e
valvole.
Il prodotto è previsto esclusivamente per l'uso in ambito domiciliare.
III. AVVERTENZE
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT è un prodotto monopaziente, quindi utilizzabile esclusivamente su un solo paziente,
anche per un uso ripetuto.
In caso di primo utilizzo, si consiglia di veri󰄈care che LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT sia idoneo a garantire la chiu-
sura ermetica del tracheostoma.
In alcuni casi particolarmente complessi, la chiusura ermetica del tracheostoma potrebbe non essere su󰓑ciente.
Se insorgono irritazioni cutanee (ad es. rossore, prurito) interrompere immediatamente l’uso della compressa e
consultare un medico. In questi casi potrebbe sussistere una particolare sensibilità cutanea oppure un’intolle-
ranza allergica.
IV. CONTROINDICAZIONI
Non utilizzare LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT in caso di allergia o intolleranza verso il materiale.
Non portare LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT durante trattamenti laser oppure interventi chirurgici di elettrocauterizzazione.
Sussiste un elevato pericolo di lesioni a causa dell'e󰘯etto termico e dell'eventuale emissione di prodotti combusti tossici.
Si raccomanda di evitare l'uso di LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT durante la radioterapia a causa del rischio di irritazioni
cutanee.
Dopo la radioterapia utilizzare LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT solo previa consultazione del proprio medico curante.
Cominciare l'uso del prodotto almeno 2 settimane dopo la radioterapia.
V. DESCRIZIONE DEL PRODOTTO
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT è una placca di tenuta in silicone per uso medico, morbido e color pelle.

Viene utilizzato per compensare la di󰘯erenza di altezza della cute rispetto ad un tracheostoma irregolare e profondo.
La forma piano-convessa di LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT garantisce l'elevata qualità della tenuta ermetica.
In virtù delle caratteristiche del materiale e della sua forma ergonomica, LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT si conforma alla
pelle intorno al tracheostoma.
Ciò assicura, oltre alla riduzione della fuoriuscita di secreti, anche la limitazione al minimo di fughe laterali dell'aria res-
pirata.
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT dispone di un connettore integrato da 22 mm, che consente di 󰘰ssare una valvola fonatoria/
un cassette con 󰘰ltro HME direttamente nel PAD.
Il materiale utilizzato rende LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT particolarmente dermocompatibile.
Non sono necessari adesivi per il 󰘰ssaggio del Pad.
VI. ISTRUZIONI PER L'APPLICAZIONE
ATTENZIONE!
All'apertura della confezione veri󰄈care che LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT sia integro e che la data di scadenza
indicata non sia stata superata.
Davanti ad uno specchio, pulire la pelle intorno al tracheostoma con acqua calda e sapone a pH neutro oppure con le
salviette detergenti per stoma OPTIFAHL® (Art. n°/REF 33200).
Asciugare la pelle.
La pelle intorno al tracheostoma deve essere pulita, asciutta e priva di residui grassi.
Staccare la pellicola protettiva sul lato posteriore ➊ e applicare LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT con il lato adesivo al centro
del tracheostoma ➋.
Quindi si può inserire un cassette con 󰘰ltro HME/una valvola fonatoria nel connettore integrato da 22 mm ➌/➍.
Prima di rimuovere il LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT, si devono rimuovere i mezzi ausiliari innestati.
A questo scopo 󰘰ssare LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT con due dita e staccare con cautela il cassette con 󰘰ltro HME/la
valvola fonatoria dal Pad ➎, per ottenere una lunga permanenza in situ del Pad.
Rimuovere LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT staccando con cautela le strisce adesive dalla pelle. ➏
ATTENZIONE!
Non utilizzare creme grasse!
In caso contrario non è più garantita la sicura adesione del prodotto.
VII. PULIZIA
In caso di pazienti con particolari quadri clinici (ad es. infezioni da MRSA, ORSA, ecc.), per i quali sussiste un
rischio elevato di reinfezione, non è su󰓑ciente una semplice pulizia per soddisfare i requisiti di igiene speciali
per la prevenzione delle infezioni. Consultare il proprio medico a tale riguardo.

Fasi di pulizia
Risciacquare accuratamente LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT sotto acqua corrente tiepida.
Successivamente, lasciare asciugare LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT in un luogo pulito.
VIII. CONSERVAZIONE
Dopo la pulizia, LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT deve essere conservato in luogo asciutto, in un contenitore di plastica pulito
e al riparo da polvere, raggi solari e/o calore, nel caso in cui non venga utilizzato.
I Pad di ricambio ancora confezionati devono essere conservati in un luogo asciutto e al riparo dai raggi solari e/o dal
calore.
Per garantire una terapia senza interruzioni, si raccomanda vivamente di tenere a disposizione almeno un Pad di ricambio.
IX. DURATA D'USO
Dopo 29 giorni di utilizzo, si raccomanda di smaltire LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT a regola d'arte e di sostituirlo con un
nuovo prodotto.
Eventuali discrepanze nella prevista durata d'uso sono dovute a particolari condizioni di utilizzo e caratteristiche cutanee
individuali.
ATTENZIONE!
Il prodotto deve essere sostituito immediatamente in presenza di incrinature o altri danni del materiale.
X. AVVERTENZE LEGALI

siano riconducibili a modi󰘰che arbitrarie apportate al prodotto, a riparazioni non eseguite dal produttore oppure ad una
manipolazione o manutenzione (pulizia/disinfezione) impropria e/o a conservazione dei prodotti contrariamente alle dispo-
sizioni delle presenti istruzioni per l'uso.

LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT
I. VOORWOORD
Deze handleiding geldt voor LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT.
De handleiding dient ter informatie van arts, verplegend personeel en patiënt/gebruiker, om een correct gebruik te garan-
deren.
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door voordat u het product voor de eerste keer gebruikt!
II. BEOOGD GEBRUIK
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT dient om het huidniveau van een onregelmatige, diep gelegen tracheostoma aan te passen.
De spreekoptie wordt verbeterd door de vermindering van ongewilde luchtverliezen.
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT maakt via een extra 22 mm-connector de aansluiting van 󰘰lter- en ventielsystemen mogelijk.
Het product is uitsluitend bestemd voor gebruik in huis.
III. WAARSCHUWINGEN
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECTs zijn producten die bestemd zijn voor één patiënt en mogen daarom maar bij één
patiënt - ook voor meervoudig gebruik - worden gebruikt.
Bij het eerste gebruik van LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT moet worden gecontroleerd of deze geschikt is voor de
afdichting van de tracheostoma.
In afzonderlijke problematische gevallen zou de afdichting van tracheostoma onvoldoende kunnen zijn.
Wanneer er huidirritaties optreden (bijv. rood worden van de huid, jeuk), dient u het product direct af te doen en
een arts te raadplegen. Mogelijk is in dat geval sprake van overgevoeligheid van de huid of verdraagt u het pro-
duct niet als gevolg van een allergie.
IV. CONTRA-INDICATIES
Gebruik de LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT als u allergisch bent voor het materiaal of dit niet tolereert.
Draag de LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT niet tijdens een laserbehandeling of een operatie waarbij een elektrocauter wordt
gebruikt.
Er bestaat aanzienlijk letselgevaar door warmte-inwerking en evt. door de afgifte van toxische verbrandingsproducten.
Tijdens radiotherapie moet het gebruik van de LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT vanwege de kans op huidirritaties worden
vermeden.
Gebruik LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT na de radiotherapie alleen na overleg met uw behandelend arts. Begin op zijn
vroegst 2 weken na de radiotherapie met het gebruik.
V. PRODUCTBESCHRIJVING
LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT is een afdichtplaatje van zachte, medische silicone van lichaamskleur.
Hij dient om het huidniveau van een onregelmatige, diep gelegen tracheostoma aan te passen.

De plano-convexe vorm van LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT zorgt voor een hoogwaardige afdichting.
Dankzij de materiaaleigenschappen en ergonomische vorm past de LARYVOX®-PAD CONNECT zich aan de huid rond
de tracheostoma aan.
Naast de geringere afscheiding van secreet kan hierdoor ook het zijwaarts voorbijstromen van de ademlucht tot een
minimum worden beperkt.
De LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT beschikt over een geïntegreerde 22 mm-connector zodat een spreekventiel/HME 󰘰lter-
cassettes direct in de PAD kan worden bevestigd.
LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT is vanwege het gebruikte materiaal bijzonder huidvriendelijk.
Voor het vastmaken van de pad is geen lijm nodig.
VI. INSTRUCTIE
LET OP!
Let bij het openen van de verpakking erop dat de LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT onbeschadigd is en dat de
aangegeven uiterste gebruiksdatum niet is verstreken.
Ga voor een spiegel staan en reinig de huid rond de tracheostoma met warm water en een pH-neutrale zeep of met
OPTIFAHL®stomareinigingsdoekjes (REF 33200).
Droog de huid af.
De huid rondom de tracheostoma moet schoon, droog en vetvrij zijn.
Na verwijdering van de beschermfolie op de achterkant ➊ plaatst u de LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT met de plakzijde in
het midden boven de tracheostoma ➋.
Vervolgens kunt u HME 󰘰ltercassettes/spreekventiel in de geïntegreerde 22 mm-connector plaatsen ➌/➍.
Voordat u de LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT verwijdert, moeten de ingestoken hulpmiddelen worden verwijderd.
Bevestig hiervoor de LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT met twee vingers en maak de HME 󰘰ltercassettes/het spreekventiel
voorzichtig los uit de pad ➎, om een lange verblijfsduur van de pad te bereiken.
Verwijder de LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT door de plakstrook voorzichtig van de huid af te trekken. ➏
LET OP!
Gebruik geen vethoudende crèmes!
Anders kan een veilige hechting van het product niet worden gewaarborgd.
VII. REINIGING
Bij patiënten met bijzondere ziektebeelden (bijv. MRSA, ORSA enz.), bij wie een verhoogd risico op hiernieuwde
infecties bestaat, is reinigen niet voldoende om aan de bijzondere hygiënevereisten voor het voorkomen van
infecties te voldoen. Raadpleeg uw arts.
Reinigingsstappen
Spoel de LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT zorgvuldig af onder lauwwarm, stromend water.
Laat de LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT vervolgens in een schone omgeving drogen.

VIII. BEWAREN
Momenteel niet gebruikte LARYVOX®PAD CONNECT moeten in een droge omgeving in een schone kunststofdoos en
beschermd tegen stof, zonlicht en/of hitte worden bewaard.
Nog verpakte reservepads moeten in een droge omgeving en beschermd tegen stof, zonlicht en/of hitte worden bewaard.
Om er zeker van te zijn dat u altijd over voldoende pads beschikt, adviseren wij dringend ten minste één reservepad op
voorraad te houden.
IX. GEBRUIKSDUUR
Na 29 dagen dient de LARYVOX® PAD CONNECT op deskundige wijze te worden afgevoerd en door een nieuw product
te worden vervangen.
Afwijkingen van de verwachte draagtijd zijn het gevolg van individuele draagvoorwaarden en huidcondities.
LET OP!
Als het materiaal scheuren vertoont of anderszins beschadigd is, moet het product direct worden vervangen.
X. JURIDISCHE OPMERKINGEN
De fabrikant Andreas Fahl Medizintechnik-Vertrieb GmbH is niet aansprakelijk voor schade die worden veroorzaakt door
eigenmachtige productwijzigingen, door reparaties die niet door de fabrikant zijn uitgevoerd of door ondeskundig gebruik,
verzorging (reiniging/desinfectie) en/of opslag van de producten, die ingaan tegen de bepalingen in deze gebruiksaan-
wijzing.
Mocht er in verband met dit product van Andreas Fahl Medizintechnik-Vertrieb GmbH een ernstig voorval optreden, dan
dient dit te worden gemeld aan de fabrikant en aan de bevoegde instantie van de lidstaat waar de gebruiker en/ of patiënt
gevestigd is.
De fabrikant behoudt zich te allen tijde het recht voor veranderingen aan het product aan te brengen. LARYVOX®is een
