Intended use

The VTSA/VTSA-F valve terminals described in this manual

are intended for fitting into a machine or automated system.

The user must at all times observe the safety instructions

specified in this manual, as well as the instructions concern-

ing the intended use of the relevant VTSA/VTSA-F valve ter-

minal. The VTSA/VTSA-F valve terminals may only be used as

follows:

– as intended for switching of gaseous media

(Appendix A “Technical data”) in an industrial

environment

– in original status without unauthorised modifications.

Only the conversions or modifications described in the

documentation supplied with the product are permitted

– in excellent technical condition.

If used together with additional commercially available com-

ponents, such as actuators, the specified limits for pressures,

temperatures, electrical data, torques etc. must be observed.

Observe the corresponding regulations of the trade associ-

ations, German Technical Control Board (TÜV), VDE stipula-

tions or relevant national regulations.

Range of application and certifications

The product fulfils the requirements of EU directives and is

marked with the CE marking.

Standards and test values, which the product must comply

with and fulfill, can be found in the section “Technical data”.

The product-relevant EU directives can be found in the declar-

ation of conformity.

manifold sub-base.

Blanking plate – Cover for a non-assigned valve position on the manifold sub-base

Component – Collective term for the exhaust plate, exhaust port cover, vertical
