signed exclusively for use in conjunction withCPX terminals
from Festo. The pneumatic interfaces and I/Omodules are
only tobeused as follows:

Only the conversionsor modificationsdescribed in the
documentation supplied withthe product arepermitted.

If additional commercially−available componentssuch as sen
sorsand actuatorsareconnected, the specified limitsfor
pressures, temperatures, electrical data, torques, etc. must
not beexceeded.Please observethe standardsspecified in
the relevant chaptersand comply withtechnical regulations,
as well as withnational and local regulations.
Warning
·In order toprovidethe electric supply, use only PELV
circuits as per IEC/DIN EN 60204−1(ProtectiveExtra−Low
Voltage, PELV).
Takeintoaccount also the general requirementsfor
PELV circuitsas per IEC/DIN EN 60204−1.
·Use only power packswhich guarantee reliable electrical
isolation of the operating voltageas per IEC/DIN
EN60204−1.
By the use of PELV power units, protection against electric
shock (protection against direct and indirect contact) is guar
anteed in accordance withIEC/DIN EN 60204−1(electrical
equipment of machines, general requirements).

Depending on the parametrization, CPX pneumatic interfaces
and CPX I/Omodules register specific faultsvia the field bus.
These can beevaluated via the:

I/Odiagnostic interface (system diagnosis)
module diagnosis
fault numbers.
