GRABNER GMBH provide a guarantee co-
vering the period of 2 years from the date of
purchase.
► material defects, faulty raw material
► manufacturing defects, production faults
► packing defects, damage caused by in-
correct packing at the factory.
In the event of a justied mater of guarantee,
proceed as following:
► Deliver the sailing rig or the respective
part thereof to your boat dealer (where
you purchased the equipment).
► Present the ORIGINAL INVOICE to
your dealer.
► Explain the damage to the dealer - best
in writing. Your dealer will then attend to
the other stages of the procedure.
► If you choose to send the rig direct to the
GRABNER company, attach a copy of
your PURCHASE INVOICE and a de-
tailed description of the defect.
► If the claim under guarantee is accepted,
the GRABNER company will accept the
cost of transport and return between the
dealer and the factory - but not between
yourself and the dealer. The consignor
is obliged to choose the most economic
mode of transport.
► The GRABNER company reserves the
right to reject unjustied and unreasona-
ble transport cost claims, and debit same
if applicable.
► Repair of the sailing rig
► If proper repair is not possible, - the rig
or the relevant parts thereof will be ex-
changed, by components of equal repla-
cement value.
► Return of the sailing rig for reimburse-
ment or credit is NOT possible.
Repair of replacement of the parts
is a matter for the GRABNER company to
decide.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
► Financial reimbursement is excluded,
replaced parts remain the property of
the GRABNER company. Rights from
this guarantee are not transferable to
third party.
► In the event, that the rig, or part thereof
has been returned under claim of gu-
arantee, and under examination found
not to qualify as a case under guaran-
tee, a written quotation of repair cost
will be issued for repair against charge
of payment.
► GRABNER GMBH accept no liability
for subsequent damage (cost of repair
at the place of vacation, recovering-
towing costs, loss of objects, ..)
► Mechanical damage of the sailing rig.
► Defects arisen from normal wear.
► Defects caused by manipulation and ap-
plication of force.
► Transport damage.
► When repair and modications have
been carried out during the guarantee
period by third party, and not by GRAB-
NER authorised service points.
► When materials and components other
than those authorised and approved by
GRABNER are used for repair.
► When deployed commercially.
► When damage is caused by none obser-
vance and incorrect application of the
chapters of the assembly and operating
instructions.
► When damage is caused by incorrect
handling of the sailing rig.
► When damage is caused by contraventi-
on of the wind force Beaufort 2 - 3 limit.
