•Assembling these items should be
completed in the upright position.
1. Locate part A, a Zinc Insert, into one end
of each Beam Crossrail, insert this to
achieve either a left or right hand Beam.
2. Remove Top Plate from all Beam legs
provided. These are secured by 2 screws,
part B and washers part C. Put these to
one side for later.
3. Holding the Round Column Leg upright
slotoneCrossrailExtensionontothe
screw protruding from the column leg.
Ensure the open side of the rail faces the
frontofthedeskandtightenoncetted
using the 4mm Allen Key. Repeat process
withsecondCrossrailExtension.
4. Attach the square plate, using part D, to
the Column Leg.
5. Take the i-frame Beam leg and stand
upright, slot the Return Beam Crossrail
into the leg in position 1, ensuring the
open side of the Beam faces the front
of the desk and the access hole for the
Beamspacerfacestheoor.
6. Re-attach the Top Plate using part B,
screws, each with a washer, part C. Place
therstscrewintherearholetoensure
the correct positioning of the Top Plate.
7. Take the Return Beam Crossrail and slide
thisintotheCrossrailExtensionalready
attached to the Round Column Leg.
8. Take the standard Beam leg and place
upright and slot the Beam Crossrail into
the leg in position 2. This allows the leg to
accept the second beam from the plus 1
desk. Slide the opposite end of the Beam
Crossrail into the remaining Crossrail
Extension.

9. Use part G with part H, zinc nut, to secure
the Beam frame where the two crossrails
slide together.
10. Using part Eattach both plastic Beam
spacers, part F, loosely.
11. Prepare the plus one i-frame Beam leg
(instructions right).
12. WARNING If attaching a plus one
desk to an existing Beam desk, please
remove the desk top and the top plate
of the leg to allow the Beam Crossrail
to be repositioned.
Please note it is only possible to share
the 800mm Beam leg.
13. Insert the Plus one Beam Crossrail into
position 2 on the shared Beam leg and
position 1 on the plus 1 i-frame Beam leg.
14. Attach the top plates for the remaining
legs as in Step 6.
WARNING It is important to ensure the
top plate is 90 degrees to the beam
Crossrail, so that the screw holes line
up with the desk top holes.
15. Lift the desk tops, one at a time, onto
the prepared Beam frame and secure the
desk top to the frame using part I. It is
important to secure the round column leg
rst.Lineupthescrewsandhandtighten
until all screws are located in the correct
places.
16. Tighten all parts Iand the secure the
Beam Spacer to the desk top.
17. At this point adjust the feet to ensure the
product is level, this can be done by hand.
18. The Beam desk is now complete.
i-Frame Beam Leg Instructions
1. Screw the adjustable feet into the base
of the i-frame beam leg.
2. Screw the leg upright into the foot
using part Dscrew and part Jwasher.
3. Insert the vertical cable trunking into
the inside of the Beam leg.
4. Clip the inner cover plate into position.
5. Slot the outer cover plate into place.
6. Continue to follow assembly
instructions from step 13.

Hints & Tips
Cable Management
Once the Beam desk is complete, simply
feed the wires that you require to run
through the desk via the cable ports and
down through the cable trunking in the legs.
Optional horizontal cable management is
availableuponrequestandthissimplyts
into the open side of the Beam Crossrail.
Access points to the Beam leg are located
behind the inner and outer cover plates.
