Recommendations
Levelling the Beam desk
Itisimportanttolevelthefeetatthestartand
naliseattheendtoensuretheproductis
level. This can be done by hand.
1. Ensure part A, a Zinc Insert, is present in
eachendoftheBeamCrossrail,thismust
be inserted as shown in diagram (Step 1)
ifitisnotalreadypresent.
2. RemovetheTopPlatefrombothupright
Beam legs provided. These are secured
by 2 screws, part B and washers part C.
Putthesetoonesideforlater.
3. Keeping one Beam leg upright, slot the
Beam Crossrail into the leg, as shown
inposition1,ensuringtheopensideof
therailfacesthefrontofthedeskand
theaccessholefortheBeamSpaceris
facingtheoor.Repeatforthesecond
Beam leg.
WARNING Please note if adding a
plus 1 option ensure that the beam is
placed in position 2 and also add the
Beam Crossrail from the next desk at
this stage. Please refer to full Plus 1
Beam desk instructions on reverse.
4. Re-attach the Top Plate to each leg and
secure using part Bscrews each with
a washer, part C. Remember to place
therstscrewintherearholetoensure
thecorrectpositioningoftheTopPlate.
WARNING It is important to ensure the
top plate is 90 degrees to the beam
Crossrail, so that the screw holes line
up with the desk top holes.

WARNING If assembling more than
one desk steps 5, 6 and 7 should be
completed in an upright position.
5. Using part Dattach the plastic Beam
spacer, part Eloosely.
6. Placethedesktopfacedownontothe
oor.FliptheassembledBeamframeover
andplaceontothedesktop.Securethe
desktoptotheframeusingpartF. Line
up the screws and hand tighten until all
screws are located in the correct places.
7. Tighten all parts Fand the secure the
BeamSpacertothedesktop.
8. Flipdeskintotheuprightposition.
9. Atthispointadjustthefeettoensurethe
product is level, this can be done by hand.
10. TheBeamdeskisnowcomplete.

Adding a Plus 1 Beam Desk
1. Prepare the leg: Screw the adjustable
feetintothebaseofthebeamleg.
2. Screwtheleguprightintothefoot
using part Gscrew and part Hwasher.
Thisstepdeneswhetherthelegwill
beleftorrighthanded.
3. Inserttheverticalcabletrunkinginto
theinsideoftheBeamleg.
4. Clip the Inner cover plate into position.
5. Slot the outer cover plate into place.
6. WARNING If attaching a plus one
desk to an existing Beam desk,
please remove the desk top and
the top plate of the leg to allow the
Beam Crossrail to be repositioned.
7. Using the leg you have just assembled,
slot both Beam Crossrails into the
single shared leg in position 2 (as
shown on reverse).
8. ContinuetofollowBeamsingledesk
instructionsfromstep5onwards.

OncetheBeamdeskiscomplete,simplyfeedthewiresthatyourequiretorunthroughthe
deskviathecableportsanddownthroughthecabletrunkinginthelegs.Optionalhorizontal
cablemanagementisavailableuponrequestandthissimplytsintotheopensideoftheBeam
Crossrail. Access points to the Beam leg are located behind the inner and outer cover plates.
