2 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
2.1 Verwendungszweck
Die Bandage ist ausschließlich zur Versorgung der oberen Extre
mität einzusetzen und ausschließlich für den Kontakt mit intakter
Haut bestimmt.
Die Bandage muss indikationsgerecht eingesetzt werden.
2.2 Indikationen
• Epicondylitis humeri radialis (Tennisellenbogen)
• Epicondylitis humeri ulnaris (Golferellenbogen)
Die Indikation wird vom Arzt gestellt.
2.3 Kontraindikationen
2.3.1 Absolute Kontraindikationen
Nicht bekannt.

2.3.2 Relative Kontraindikationen
Bei nachfolgenden Indikationen ist eine Rücksprache mit dem Arzt
erforderlich: Hauterkrankungen/-verletzungen, Entzündungen, auf
geworfene Narben mit Schwellung, Rötung und Überwärmung im
versorgten Körperabschnitt; Krampfadern stärkeren Ausmaßes, ins
besondere mit Rückfluss-Störungen, Lymphabfluss-Störungen –
auch unklare Weichteilschwellungen körperfern des Hilfsmittels;
Empfindungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen im Bereich des Unter
arms und der Hand, z.B. bei diabetischer Neuropathie.
2.4 Wirkungsweise
Die Bandage entlastet die Muskulatur des Unterarms und wirkt
schmerzlindernd.
3 Sicherheit

4 Handhabung

4.1 Auswählen der Größe
Das Produkt ist in einer Universalgröße erhältlich.

4.2 Anpassen
Die Kontur der Pelotte ist auf der Bandage markiert.
1) Behandlung linker Arm: Die Pelotte an der Bandage anklet
ten. Dabei befindet sich die breite Seite der Pelotte links.
2) Behandlung rechter Arm: Die Pelotte an der Bandage anklet
ten. Dabei befindet sich die breite Seite der Pelotte rechts.
4.3 Anlegen
Pelottenposition bei Epicondylitis humeri radialis ermitteln
1) Die Hand zu einer Faust ballen.
2) Die Hand nach oben ziehen. Dadurch spannt sich am äußeren
Unterarm der Muskel an auf dem die Pelotte platziert wird.
Pelottenposition bei Epicondylitis humeri ulnaris ermitteln
►Die Hand nach unten beugen. Dadurch spannt sich am inneren
Unterarm der Muskel an auf dem die Pelotte platziert wird.
> Der Klettverschluss der Bandage ist geöffnet.
1) Die Bandage über den Unterarm ziehen.
2) Die Pelotte auf dem betroffenen Muskel positionieren. Dabei
den unteren Rand der Bandage ca. 4 bis 5cm unterhalb des El
lenbogengelenks platzieren.
3) Das Klettband durch die Umlenkschlaufe ziehen und ankletten.
Dabei sicherstellen, dass die Bandage fest anliegt ohne abzu
schnüren.
5 Reinigung
HINWEIS
Verwendung falscher Reinigungsmittel
Beschädigung des Produktes durch falsche Reinigungsmittel
►Reinigen Sie das Produkt nur mit den zugelassenen Reini
gungsmitteln.
1) Den Klettverschluss schließen.
2) Empfehlung: Waschbeutel oder Waschnetz verwenden.

3) Die Bandage in 30°C warmen Wasser mit einem handelsübli
chen Feinwaschmittel waschen. Keinen Weichspüler verwen
den. Gut ausspülen.
4) An der Luft trocknen lassen. Keine direkte Hitzeeinwirkung
(z.B. Sonnenbestrahlung, Ofen- oder Heizkörperhitze).
6 Entsorgung
Das Produkt gemäß den geltenden nationalen Vorschriften entsor
gen.
7 Rechtliche Hinweise

These instructions for use provide important information on the fit
ting and application of the 50A3=7 Epi Forsa Plus elbow support.
2 Intended use
2.1 Indications for use
The support is intended exclusively for treating the upper limbs
and exclusively for contact with intact skin.
The support must be used according to the indication.
2.2 Indications
• Epicondylitis humeri radialis (tennis elbow)
• Epicondylitis humeri ulnaris (golfer elbow)
The indication must be determined by the physician.
2.3 Contraindications
2.3.1 Absolute Contraindications
None known.
2.3.2 Relative Contraindications
The following indications require consultation with a physician: skin
diseases/injuries, inflammation, prominent, swollen scars, redden
ing and hyperthermia in the relevant area; pronounced varicose
veins, especially with impaired blood return, lymph drainage disor
ders and unclear soft tissue swelling distal to the device; sensory
and circulatory disorders in the area of the forearm and hand, e.g.
associated with diabetic neuropathy.
2.4 Mechanism of Action
The support relieves the muscles of the lower arm and reduces
pain.

4 Handling
CAUTION
Incorrect or excessively tight application

4.1 Selecting the Size
The product is available in a universal size.
4.2 Adaptation
The contour of the pad is marked on the support.
1) Treating the left arm: Affix the pad to the support. The wide
side of the pad is on the left.
2) Treating the right arm: Affix the pad to the support. The wide
side of the pad is on the right.
4.3 Application
Determine the pad position with epicondylitis humeri radialis.
1) Make the fist into a ball.
2) Raise the hand. This tenses the muscle on the outside of the
forearm on which the pad will be located.

Determine the pad position with epicondylitis humeri ulnaris.
►Flex the hand downwards This tenses the muscle on the inside
of the forearm on which the pad will be located.
> The hook-and-loop closure of the support is open.
1) Pull the support over the forearm.
2) Position the pad on the muscle concerned. In doing so, place
the lower edge of the support about 4 to 5cm below the elbow
joint.
3) Pull the hook-and-loop strap through the strap guide loop and
fasten it. Make sure that the support sits tightly but does not
pinch.
5 Cleaning
NOTICE
Use of improper cleaning agents
Damage to the product due to use of improper cleaning agents
►Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.
1) Fasten the hook-and-loop closure.
2) Recommendation: Use a laundry bag or net.
3) Wash the support in warm water at 30°C with standard mild
detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly.
4) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat (e.g.from the sun,
an oven or radiator).
6 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.

2 Utilisation conforme

en contact avec une peau intacte.
Il est impératif d’utiliser l’orthèse conformément aux indications.

• Épicondylite huméro-radiale (coude du joueur de tennis)

du reflux veineux, troubles de la circulation lymphatique et égale
ment œdèmes inexpliqués des parties molles du côté distal par rap
port à l’orthèse; troubles de la perception et de la circulation san

4.1 Sélection de la taille

4.2 Ajustement
Les contours de la pelote sont signalés sur l’orthèse.
1) Traitement du bras gauche: fixez la pelote sur l’orthèse à
l’aide de la fermeture velcro. La face large de la pelote se trouve
alors à gauche.
2) Traitement du bras droit: fixez la pelote sur l’orthèse à l’aide
de la fermeture velcro. La face large de la pelote se trouve alors
à droite.
4.3 Mise en place
Déterminer la position de la pelote en cas d’épicondylite laté
rale du coude
1) Serrez le poing de la main concernée.
2) Tirez la main vers le haut. Cela permet de tendre le muscle sur
lequel la pelote doit être placée au niveau de l’avant-bras exté
rieur.

►Fléchissez la main vers le bas. Cela permet de tendre le muscle
sur lequel la pelote doit être placée au niveau de l’avant-bras in

> La fermeture velcro de l’orthèse est ouverte.
1) Enfilez l’orthèse sur l’avant-bras.
2) Positionnez la pelote sur le muscle concerné. Placez alors le
bord inférieur de l’orthèse environ 4 à 5cm sous l’articulation
du coude.
3) Passez la bande velcro dans la boucle de renvoi et fixez-la.
Veillez alors à ce que l’orthèse soit bien serrée, mais ne com
prime pas.
5 Nettoyage

Utilisation de détergents inadaptés

►Nettoyez le produit uniquement avec les détergents autorisés.
1) Fermez la fermeture velcro.
2) Recommandation: utilisez un sac ou un filet de lavage.
3) Lavez l’orthèse à 30°C avec une lessive pour linge délicat dis
ponible dans le commerce. N’utilisez pas d’assouplissant. Rin
cez bien.
4) Laissez sécher à l’air. Évitez toute exposition directe à la chaleur
(parex. les rayons du soleil et la chaleur des poêles et des ra
diateurs).
6 Mise au rebut
Éliminez le produit conformément aux prescriptions nationales en vi
gueur.

lievo caratterizzate da gonfiori, arrossamento e ipertermia della par
te in cui è applicata l'ortesi; vene varicose di ampia estensione, in
particolare in caso di disturbi del circolo venoso; disturbi del flusso
linfatico inclusi gonfiori dei tessuti molli non identificati, indipenden
temente dall'area del corpo in cui è applicata l'ortesi; disturbi della
sensibilità e circolatori dell'avambraccio e della mano, p. es. nel ca
so di neuropatia diabetica.
2.4 Azione terapeutica
La fascia scarica la muscolatura dell'avambraccio ed esercita
un'azione lenitiva.

4.1 Scelta della misura
Il prodotto è disponibile in una misura unica.
4.2 Adattamento
Il contorno della pelotta è marcato sulla fascia.
1) Trattamento del braccio sinistro: applicare con velcro la pe
lotta sulla fascia. Il lato largo della pelotta è posizionato a sini
stra.
2) Trattamento del braccio destro: applicare con velcro la pelot
ta sulla fascia. Il lato largo della pelotta è posizionato a destra.
4.3 Applicazione
Determinare la posizione delle pelotte in caso di epicondilite
omerale radiale
1) Stringere la mano a pugno.
2) Spingere la mano verso l'alto. In questo modo il muscolo su cui
viene collocata la pelotta si tende sul lato esterno dell'avambrac
cio.
Determinare la posizione della pelotta in caso di epicondilite
omerale ulnare
►Flettere la mano verso il basso. In questo modo il muscolo su
cui viene collocata la pelotta si tende sul lato interno dell'avam
braccio.
> La chiusura a velcro della fascia è aperta.
1) Tirare la fascia sopra l'avambraccio.
2) Posizionare la pelotta sul muscolo interessato. Il bordo inferiore
della fascia deve essere trovarsi a circa 4 - 5cm sotto dell'arti
colazione del gomito.
3) Tirare il nastro a velcro attraverso il passante e fissarlo. Control
lare che la fascia sia bloccata senza stringere.
