1 Verwendungszweck
Das Shuttle-Lock 6A30=10 ist ausschließlich zur prothetischen Versorgung
der unteren Extremität zu verwenden. Es ist nicht für die Verwendung in Ba-
deprothesen geeignet.
Achtung!
Bei Verwendung ungeeigneter Liner kann es zu Hautverletzungen
kommen. Für weitergehende Hinweise Liner Auswahl-Hilfe 646D252=D
beachten.
2 Beschreibung
Das Shuttle-Lock dient zur Fixierung eines Liners in der Unter- oder Ober-
schenkel-Prothese und wird in den Gießharzschaft einlaminiert.
Das Shuttle-Lock nimmt den Pin auf und lässt sich über die Rasteinheit entriegeln.
Achtung!
Bitte vermeiden Sie es, Prothesenpassteile Umgebungen auszuset-
zen, die Korrosion an den Metallteilen auslösen, z.B. Süßwasser,
Salzwasser und Säuren. Bei Einsatz des Medizinproduktes unter
diesen Umständen erlöschen alle Ersatzansprüche gegen Otto
Bock HealthCare.

3 Bauteile (Abb. 1)
Der Shuttle-Lock-Set besteht aus
(1) Pin 6Y13=1
(2) Shuttle-Lock-Gehäuse
(3) Rasteinheit 6A52
und Dummy-Set 5X125 mit Schraube, bestehend aus:
(4) Hülsen-Dummy
(5) Tellerdummy mit vier Schrauben
(6) Rasteinheit-Dummy, lang
(7) Rasteinheit-Dummy, kurz
4 Montage und Einlaminieren
Achtung!
Montage des Pins in einem nicht zugelassenen Liner
Sturz durch Lösen der Schraubverbindung
• Montieren Sie den Pin nur in Linern mit Metallgewinde unter Be-
achtung des angegebenen Montage-Anzugsmoments.
• Informieren Sie den Patienten.
Detaillierte Hinweise zur Herstellung einer Unterschenkelprothese mit Liner
und Shuttle Lock 6A30=10 enthält die Technische Information 2.1.6.
Achtung!
Shuttle-Lock immer in Stumpfverlängerung

• Einen PVA-Folienschlauch 99B81 überziehen. Distal am Steg des Teller-
dummys abbinden und abschneiden.
• Gewinde des Rasteinheit-Dummys, kurz (7), mit Siliconfett versehen und
im Shuttle-Lock-Gehäuse einsetzen.
• Shuttle-Lock-Gehäuse (2) mit dem Hülsen-Dummy (4) aufsetzen und mit

Hinweis: Für die Anprobe das Gewinde der Rasteinheit (3) mit
Siliconfett 633F11 leicht einfetten.

Rasteinheit (3) und Shuttle-Lock-Gehäuse entfetten und mit 636K13
Loctite sichern und in das Shuttle-Lock-Gehäuse drehen. Mit Drehmo-
mentschlüssel 710D4 festdrehen. Anzugsmoment: 20 Nm.
Achtung!
Ungeeignetes Werkzeug kann die Rasteinheit beschädigen oder
deren Funktion beeinträchtigen!
Verwenden Sie niemals einen Maulschlüssel zum Hinein- oder
Herausschrauben, sondern ausschließlich das in dieser Anleitung
angegebene Werkzeug.
Verwenden Sie folgendes Werkzeug:
• Drehmomentschlüssel 710D4
• passendes Übergangsteil 709S26=1/4”×1/2” und
• Steckschlüsseleinsatz S6A20-2.
Achtung!
Ungeeignetes Werkzeug kann den Taster zerstören!
Zum Herausschrauben des Tasters aus der Rasteinheit verwenden
Sie einen Schraubendreher mit einer 2 mm starken Klinge oder eine
Münze mit vergleichbarer Stärke.
Bei nachträglichen Schleifarbeiten am Schaft das Shuttle-Lock vor Verschmut-
zung schützen (z.B. sauberen Lappen in den Schaft legen).
Weitere Verarbeitungshinweise enthält die Technische Information 2.1.6.

Den Pin mit Loctite 241 (636K13) sichern und mit 3 Nm im Gewinde des
Liners mit Drehmomentschlüssel 710D1 festdrehen.
Achtung!

beim Anziehen der Prothese. Wird die Feder entfernt (kein aku-
stisches Feedback) oder die Vorspannung verringert, so verringert
sich auch der Rotationswiderstand der Rasteinheit.
5 Rechtliche Hinweise

5.1 Haftung
Der Hersteller haftet, wenn das Produkt gemäß den Beschreibungen und

Nichtbeachtung dieses Dokuments, insbesondere durch unsachgemäße
Verwendung oder unerlaubte Veränderung des Produkts verursacht werden,

Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der europäischen Richtlinie 93/42/

Anhang IX dieser Richtlinie wurde das Produkt in die Klasse I eingestuft.

1 Indications for use
The 6A30=10 Shuttle Lock is to be used solely 
lower limb. It is not suitable for being used in bathing prostheses.
Caution!
If using unsuitable liners you can cause skin irritations. For further
information, please see Liner Selction Tool 646D252=GB.
2 Description
The Shuttle-Lock is used to connect the prosthetic socket of a transtibial or
transfemoral prosthesis to the socket liner and is integrated into the laminated
socket during the lamination process.
A release button on the ratchet unit can be used to unlock the Pin from the
Shuttle-Lock.
Caution!
Please avoid exposing prosthetic components to corrosive elements
such as fresh water, salt water and acids. Using this medical product
in such environmental conditions will render all claims against Otto
Bock HealthCare null and void.
Please inform your patients.

Pull over a 99B81 PVA Bag. Tie off distally in the groove of the dummy
plate and cut off.
• Apply silicone grease to the thread of the short dummy for the ratchet unit
(7) and insert it in the shuttle lock housing.

• Place the shuttle lock housing (2) with the dummy sleeve (4) and secure


(3) with 633F11 Silicone Grease.

Degrease the ratchet unit (3) and the shuttle lock housing, secure it
using 636K13 Loctite and screw it into the shuttle lock housing. Tighten
using 710D4 Torque Wrench. Torque: 20 Nm.
Caution!
Improper tools may damage the ratchet unit or impair its function!
Never use an open-end wrench for unscrewing and retightening.
Use only the tool indicated in the Instructions for Use.
Use the following tools:
• 
• the suitable 709S26=1/4”×1/2” adapter piece and
• the S6A20-2 Socket Wrench Kit.
Caution!
Improper tools may damage the push button!
To remove the push button from the ratchet unit, please use a screw
driver with 2 mm tip or a coin of comparable thickness.
Whenever grinding inside the socket, protect the shuttle lock from dirt by
sealing the lock opening with tape or a piece of clean cloth.

Secure the Pin with Loctite 241 (636K13), screw it into the liner's thread


Caution!


Momento di avvitamento: 20 Nm.
Attenzione!
Utensili non idonei possono danneggiare l’unità di bloccaggio o
comprometterne la funzionalità!
Non utilizzare mai una chiave a forcella per avvitare/svitare, ma
esclusivamente gli utensili indicati nelle presenti istruzioni per l’uso.
Utilizzare i seguenti utensili:
• Chiave dinamometrica 710D4

• Giunzione idonea 709S26=1/4”×1/2” e
• Chiave esagonale S6A20-2.
Attenzione!
Utensili non idonei potrebbero danneggiare il tasto!
Per svitare il tasto dall’unità di bloccaggio utilizzare un cacciavite
con lama dello spessore di 2 mm oppure una moneta dello stesso
spessore.
Durante la successiva smerigliatura dell’invasatura dell’attacco Shuttle Lock,
fare attenzione all’eventuale presenza di sporcizia (ad es., mettere un panno
pulito nell’invasatura).

Nel momento in cui si indossa la protesi, il precarico della molla

Par de apriete: 20 Nm.
