•I. INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on choosing this quality SCOTT product. Before
use, please read carefully the following instructions, and keep
them in safe custody. This specific product line has been devel-
oped to offer you the best comfort and fit.
•II. LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
Bike Gloves : This SCOTT product is considered to be an item
of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) of Category I and as
such is subject to the requirements laid down by the Regulation
EU 2016 / 425. The CE marking may be allocated by SCOTT only
once the product has undergone an internal production control
complying with the requirements of the Regulation EU 2016 / 425.
Moto Off-Road Gloves : This SCOTT product is considered to be
an item of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) of Category II and
as such is subject to the requirements laid down by the Regulation
EU 2016 / 425. The CE marking may be allocated by SCOTT only
once the product has undergone an internal production control
complying with the requirements of the Regulation EU 2016 / 425.
Moto On-Road Gloves : This SCOTT product is considered to be
an item of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) of Category II and
as such is subject to the requirements laid down by the Regulation
EU 2016 / 425. These SCOTT Gloves have been designed within
the requirements of the European safety standard EN 13594 : 2015
“Protective gloves for motorcycle riders”. The SCOTT Gloves have
been submitted for testing according to EN 13594 : 2015.
•III. INTENDED USE
This SCOTT equipment is strictly limited for the respective use
indicated by the pictograms on the certified label (see chapter VI.
Information on the product).
Bike Gloves : The intended and reasonably foreseeable use of this
product is solely : bicycling. This product is not to be used for other
kinds of sports, particularly not for motorsports.

Moto Off-Road Gloves : The intended and reasonably foreseeable
use of this product is solely : off-road motosports.
Moto On-Road Gloves : The intended and reasonably foreseeable
use of this product is solely : motosports.
•IV. USER RESTRICTIONS
APPLICATION AREA
This product provides limited protection only in the areas covered
by the equipment. SCOTT Sports SA shall not accept any com-
plaints arising from the use of those products where the equip-
ment is not applied.
Bike Gloves : This SCOTT product is designed and manufactured
to provide mechanical protection and to reduce the risk of super-
ficial mechanical injuries.
SCOTT Bike Gloves intend to protect the hand’s skin without
reducing the user’s ability to ride the bike.
Moto Off-Road & On-Road Gloves : This equipment is designed
and manufactured to provide limited protection against the risk
of impact in the event of a fall. The product does not safeguard
against other traumas or extreme movements.
SCOTT Gloves intend to protect the hand from external impacts
without reducing the user’s ability to operate the motorcycle con-
trols. The knuckle protection – if present – is meant to cover the
area of all four knuckles and is intended to offer limited impact
and abrasion protection from accidents or sudden collisions with
objects on the back of the hand.
LIMITATION OF USE
This SCOTT product does not safeguard against traumas caused
by twisting, torsion or extreme movements. SCOTT Sports SA shall
not accept any complaints arising from using the product for oth-
er purposes than that indicated in the present information notice.
MISUSES
We recommend that the SCOTT product is not to be left outside,
exposed to low temperatures or direct sunlight before use. Any
product modifications may cause loss of protection and are there-
fore considered as improper use. SCOTT Sports SA shall not be
liable for any damages and / or losses due to improper use.

•V. WARNING
No SCOTT equipment can offer full protection against injury.
Any contamination, alteration to the product or misuse could dan-
gerously reduce the performance of the equipment.
•VI. INFORMATION ON THE PRODUCT
CARE INSTRUCTION AND MATERIAL CONTENT
This product contains no known harmful substances : it is not
known to undergo alteration from contact with sweat, or with sub-
stances likely to be found in toiletries, and is not known to cause

•VII. HOW TO ADJUST YOUR PRODUCT
CHOOSING THE CORRECT SIZE
It must be chosen in reference to the size indicated in the size chart
on page 2 or on the garment itself. SCOTT Sports SA shall not accept
any complaints arising from the use of an incorrect fitted product.
Please bear in mind that a trial of the product before purchase is
the best way to find the correct size.
Bike Gloves : Bike gloves are designed for special application.
These gloves are meant to be used solely for biking and do not
conform with the sizing values set out by EN 420 : 2003 + A1 : 2009.
These gloves have been designed to offer the best possible com-
fort and dexterity during the biking activity.
POSITION AND FIT
For the product to work properly, it must cover the protected area
correctly. The garment must have the correct size, chosen from
the manufacturer’s size chart.
The product is designed to stay firmly in contact with the hand.
Straps and elastic bands should be fastened tightly to guaran-
tee stability of the equipment during use. Check that all closure

systems are securely closed. The product should fit snugly but
not too tightly. For maximum protection and safety, it should not
cause any discomfort.
Wear, dirt or any kind of damage may compromise its efficiency.
Moto Off-Road & On-Road Gloves : Gloves should be worn over
or under the jacket sleeves so that the sleeves and cuff overlap ;
they must not slip off easily even in the event of an accident.
•VIII. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
STORAGE
Contamination with foreign substances and improper care can
seriously compromise the effectiveness of your equipment and
reduce its performance.
Do not store your product in direct sunlight. Do not expose your
product to extreme hot and cold temperatures like those found in
closed cars or outdoor storage units. Hang your gear to dry away
from direct heat sources. SCOTT recommends to store your gear
at a temperature between 0°C and 30°C.
The equipment should be cleaned thoroughly before storing for
long periods.
CLEANING
Washing instructions are indicated on the equipment. Do not bleach,
iron or dry clean your product. Do not use hair dryers or other heat-
ers to dry it. Do not use solvents or toxic substances to clean it.
Bike & Moto Off-Road Gloves : Remove any dirt with a damp cloth
and mild soap, and wash up to max. 3 machine cycles.
CHECKING
It is recommended to regularly inspect your gear. If doubtful,
please ask an expert or your friendly dealer. This product has a
limited lifespan and for optimum safety SCOTT recommends
replacing your product three (3) years after the purchasing date.
After heavy impact resulting in damage to the product, it is rec-
ommended to replace it. The protection it offers could be reduced
due to mechanical wear or improper use. Before use, please check
the product for any damage to the straps, stitching and pads. Dis-
pose of the product if you notice any damage.

DISPOSAL
Dispose of the products in the domestic waste. Do not disassem-
ble or incinerate the product. This may lead to potential hazards.

Moto OffRoad-Handschuhe : Der beabsichtigte und vernünftig
absehbare Gebrauch dieses Produkts ist nur : Gelände Motorsport.
Moto OnRoad-Handschuhe : Der beabsichtigte und vernünftig
absehbare Gebrauch dieses Produkts ist nur : Motorrad.
•IV. BENUTZUNGSEINSCHRÄNKUNGEN
ANWENDUNGSBEREICH
Dieses Produkt bietet nur einen eingeschränkten Schutz für die
durch die Ausrüstung abgedeckten Bereiche. SCOTT Sports SA
erkennt keine Reklamationen bezüglich der Verwendung dieser
Produkte an, wenn die Ausrüstung nicht angelegt wurde.
Fahrradhandschuhe : Dieses SCOTT Produkt wurde entwickelt
und hergestellt, um mechanischen Schutz vor oberflächlichen
mechanischen Verletzungen zu bieten.
Die SCOTT Fahrradhandschuhe schützen die Haut der Hände, ohne
den Fahrer bei der Handhabung des Fahrrads zu beeinträchtigen.
Moto OffRoad & OnRoad-Handschuhe : Diese Ausrüstung wur-
de entwickelt und hergestellt, um limitierten Schutz im Falle eines
Sturzes einen begrenzten Aufprallschutz bieten. Das Produkt
schützt nicht vor Verletzungen, die durch extreme Bewegungen
hervorgerufen werden können. Die SCOTT Handschuhe schützen
die Hand vor Fremdeinwirkung, ohne den Fahrer bei der Handha-
bung des Motorrads zu beeinträchtigen. Zweck des Knöchelschut-
zes – falls vorhanden – ist es, den Bereich der vier Fingerknöchel
zu bedecken und den Handrücken bei Unfällen oder plötzlichen
Zusammenstößen vor Aufprall und Abrieb zu schützen.
SCHUTZGÜTE
Dieses SCOTT Produkt bietet keinen Schutz gegen Traumata
durch Überstreckung, Verdrehung oder extreme Bewegungen.
SCOTT Sports SA akzeptiert keine Reklamationen aufgrund der
Verwendung des Produkts zu anderen als den in diesem Informa-
tionsblatt angegebenen Zwecken.
UNSACHGEMÄSSER GEBRAUCH
Wir empfehlen, das SCOTT Produkt vor Gebrauch nicht im Freien
aufzubewahren, niedrigen Temperaturen oder direkten Sonnenein-
strahlung auszusetzen. Jegliche Veränderung am Produkt bedeutet

beachten Sie, dass eine Anprobe vor dem Kauf die beste Möglich-
keit bietet, die korrekte Größe Ihres Handschuhs herauszufinden.
Fahrradhandschuhe : Fahrradhandschuhe sind für spezielle

schuhe wurden entwickelt, um den bestmöglichen Komfort und die
größtmögliche Fingerfertigkeit beim Radfahren zu gewährleisten.
POSITION UND ANPASSUNG
Nur die durch das Produkt bedeckten Bereiche sind optimal
geschützt. Die Ausrüstung muss der Grössentabelle entspre-
chend korrekt ausgewählt werden.

Das Produkt wurde entwickelt, um festen Kontakt mit der Hand
zu haben. Schlaufen und elastische Bänder müssen fest angezo-
gen werden, um die Stabilität während des Gebrauchs zu gewähr-
leisten. Prüfen Sie, ob alle Verschluss-Systeme sicher geschlos-
sen sind. Das Produkt sollte nicht rutschen, aber auch nicht zu eng
anliegen. Für maximalen Schutz und Sicherheit darf die Ausrüs-
tung keine Schmerzen verursachen. Abnutzung, Schmutz oder
Beschädigungen können die Leistung beeinträchtigen.
Moto OffRoad & OnRoad-Handschuhe : Handschuhe sollten
über oder unter dem Jackenärmel getragen werden, damit Ärmel
und Stulpe überlappen. Sie dürfen auch bei einem Unfall nicht
leicht verrutschen.
•VIII. PFLEGE UND WARTUNG
LAGERUNG
Bewahren Sie die Ausrüstung nicht im Freien auf, wo sie Witterungs-
einflüssen ausgesetzt ist. Bei extrem hohen oder niedrigen Temperatu-
ren kann die Funktionalität dieser Ausrüstung beeinträchtigt werden.
Setzen sie das Produkt keinen extrem heißen oder kalten Tempe-
raturen aus, wie sie im geschlossenen Auto oder bei Lagerung im
Freien auftreten können. Hängen Sie Ihre Ausrüstung in trocke-
nem Zustand und geschützt vor Sonnenlicht und direkten Wär-
mequellen auf. Für die Reinigung soll die Ausrüstung zwischen
0°C und 30°C aufbewahren.
Bevor die Ausrüstung für längere Zeit weggeräumt wird, sollte sie
sorgfältig gereinigt werden.
REINIGUNG
Die Waschanleitung befindet sich auf der Ausrüstung. Nicht blei-
chen, bügeln oder chemisch reinigen. Keine Haartrockner oder
andere Heizkörper verwenden. Keine Lösungsmittel oder giftigen
Substanzen zur Reinigung verwenden.
Fahrrad & Moto OffRoad -Handschuhe : Entfernen Sie Verschmutzun-
gen mit einem feuchten Tuch und milder Seife, max. 3 Waschgänge.
KONTROLLE
Wir empfehlen eine regelmässige Kontrolle Ihrer Ausrüstung. Dieses
Produkt hat eine begrenzte Lebensdauer, daher empfiehlt SCOTT für
ein Optimum an Sicherheit das Produkt drei (3) Jahre nach Kaufda-
tum zu ersetzen. Das Produkt sollte bei klaren Anzeichen von Abnut-
zung oder nach einem schweren Sturz durch ein neues ersetzt wer-
den. Die Schutzfunktion kann durch unsachgemässe Anwendung

oder Abnutzung beeinträchtigt werden. Bitte überprüfen Sie vor
dem Gebrauch die Riemen, Nähte und Polster auf Beschädigungen.
Benutzen Sie das Produkt nicht mehr, wenn Sie Schäden feststellen.
ENTSORGUNG
Das Produkt sollte nicht mechanisch zerstört oder verbrannt wer-
den, da dies unter Umständen zu möglichen Gefahren führen kann.
