SAFETY
• Do not look into the laser beam (laser radiation) 2
• Do not point the laser beam at persons or animals
• Do not place the tool in a position that may cause
anyone to look into the laser beam intentionally or
unintentionally
• Do not use any magnifying optical tools (such as
magnifying glasses, telescopes, or binoculars) to view
the laser beam

• Always lock the self-leveling system after use
USE
• Mounting of batteries 4
- open cover J
- insert 4 x AA (LR6) / 1,5V batteries (pay attention to
correct polarisation)
- close cover J
- always remove the batteries from the tool, if the tool
is not used for a long period
- replace the batteries when indicator B starts blinking
- always replace the complete set of batteries
• Operating the tool 5
- place the tool in horizontal position (with base-
plate K beneath) on a flat surface
- unlock the self-leveling system by turning knob M
clockwise into position “ON”
- switch on the tool by pressing button A
- when switching on, light B lights up indicating that
the tool is in the projecting mode
- if the surface inclines more than ± 3º, an acoustic
warning signal indicates that the tool is out of its
self-leveling range (rotary head F stops rotating)
- the tool immediately starts projecting a horizontal
line/plane as well as a plumb point on the ceiling
- select desired rotational speed by repeatedly
pressing button C
1) high speed (lower indicator D lights up)
2) medium speed (middle indicator D lights up)
3) low speed (upper indicator D lights up)
