Before using your new Door and Window
Opening Alarm, please read this instruction
manual to prevent any damage. Put it away in
a safe place for future references.
CHARACTERISTICS
Your new electronic door and window alarm
is a powerful electronic device that works
when the magnetic eld between the magnet
and the device is broken and the switch is
activated.
This device has a 3 position switch: CHIME,
OFF, and ALARM.
On the CHIME position the electronic device
works like a doorbell and lets you know when
someone has opened the door or window.
It will only ring once letting you know that a
door or window has been opened.
On the OFF position the electronic device is
off and will not sound.
On the ALARM position the electronic device
will ring continually until either the switch is
placed on a different position or the door or
window is closed.

Your electronic alarm device is a magnetic
activator that when the magnetic eld
between magnet and device is broken will
emit a 90 dB sound with an approximate
reach of 30 m. The alarm will only turn off
when the switch is deactivated or the
magnetic eld is replaced. (with the switch in
the ALARM position)
INSTRUCTIONS
1.- Determine where the best place to place
your alarm is. Remove the cover protector
from the adhesive and place the magnet in
this area. Press rmly.
2.- Place 3 1.5V batteries into the
electronic alarm.

3.- Place the electronic alarm device on the
other part of the window or door. Remember
to remove the cover protector of the
adhesive. Make sure the arrows from the
magnet and the alarm are aligned.
4.- Set the switch to the position you wish to
use: Chime or Alarm.
5.- Test the function of your alarm by opening
the door or window where you have installed
the alarm device. The alarm or chime should
sound depending on which position you have
set the switch.

1. Remember that the two parts (magnet
and alarm device) must be very close to
each other. The maximum separation
between these two parts before the alarm
goes off is 1.5 cm.
2. When the alarm is idle, the power
consumption is minimal.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in
workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the
date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase
ticket, product box or package, and product, must be presented when
warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of
charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim
was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accesories to costumer,
as well as warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling,
leaky batteries, failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by
unauthorized personnel, improper safe keeping, among others.

establishment.

Antes de utilizar su nueva Alarma
Electrónica de Ventana lea este
instructivo para evitar cualquier mal
funcionamiento. Guárdelo para futuras
referencias.
CARACTERÍSTICAS
Su nueva alarma electrónica para puertas o
ventanas es un poderoso dispositivo
electrónico que se acciona cuando la contra
magnética es separada del módulo o
dispositivo y éste ha sido activado por medio
del interruptor integrado.
Cuenta con un interruptor de 3 posiciones:
CHIME: Avisador, OFF: Apagado y ALARM:
Alarma.
En la posición CHIME la alarma electrónica
funciona como avisador de paso, es decir
solo suena una vez indicando que la puerta
o ventana se abrió,
En la posición de OFF la alarma está
apagada.
En la posición de ALARM la alarma sonará
y no dejará de sonar hasta que se vuelva a
cerrar la puerta o ventana.

Su alarma electrónica para puertas o
ventanas es un activador magnético que al
alejarse del módulo principal o dispositivo
provoca que este se accione emitiendo un
sonido de alarma de un tono de 90 dB el
cual tiene un alcance aproximado de 30m
La alarma solo deja de sonar hasta que el
dispositivo es desactivado mediante el
interruptor o la contra magnética vuelve a
estar muy cerca del dispositivo (con el
interruptor en la posición de ALARMA).
INSTRUCCIONES
1. Determine el mejor lugar para colocar
su alarma electrónica de ventana o puerta.
Retire la cubierta protectora de la esponja
adhesiva de la contra magnética y presione
rmemente.
2.- Inserte 3 pilas tipo botón de 1,5V c/u
en la alarma electrónica.

3. Coloque la alarma electrónica a un
costado de la contra magnética, retirando
previamente la cubierta protectora del
adhesivo y presionando rmemente.
Compruebe que las echas indicadores se
encuentran perfectamente alineadas.
4. Mueva el interruptor de alarma en la
posición deseada: Chime o Alarm.
5. Pruebe el funcionamiento abriendo la
ventana o puerta donde usted colocó su
alarma.

1. Recuerde que las dos partes deben
estar muy cerca ya que la alarma se
activa cuando se separan mas de 1,5 cm,
la máxima separación que le permite la
alarma para colocarla es de 1 cm y si la
separa 5 mm más, la alarma sonará.
2. Cuando la alarma está en estado de
reposo el consumo de energía es bajo.

PÓLIZA DE GARANTÍA
Esta póliza garantiza el producto por el término de un año en todas sus partes
y mano de obra, contra cualquier defecto de fabricación y funcionamiento, a
partir de la fecha de entrega.
CONDICIONES
1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente ésta póliza y el producto, en
donde fue adquirido o en Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en
caso de estar defectuoso sin ningún cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de
transportación serán cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días, contados
a partir de la recepción del producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda
hacerse efectiva la garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y
accesorios, así como hacer válida esta garantía es en cualquiera de las
direcciones mencionadas posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las
normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de
uso.

extraviara, el consumidor puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le expida
otra póliza de garantía, previa presentación de la nota de compra o factura
respectiva.
