1 FUNCTION
The detector is designed for detection of water
leak events and sending “Alarm” notification via
two-wire alarm loop (signaling zone) to control
panel or wireless detectors Astra-3321 and
Astra-Z-3345 operating in transmitter mode
(hereinafter “TRA”).
Detector is not designed for distilled water lea-
kage detection.

4 INSTALLATION LOCATION
Detector is located on the floor in supposed
place of water accumulation in case of leakage.
5 INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1) Remove cover
2) Make markings
on the selected
place of installa-
tion using detector
body
3) Replace cover
4)Perform wiring (see par.6)
5)Make operability test (see par. 7)

6 WIRING
1) Detector connection to control panel (CP)
R1 –resistor (nominal value depends on control
panel type, for Astra-712/x –3,9 kOhm).
2) Detector connection to TRA Astra-3321 or
Astra-3345
ATTENTION! Zone circuit current should not
exceed 50 mA in order to avoid detector dam-
age.
7 OPERABILITY TEST
1) Power CP or TRA up.
2) Check detector operability by simulating
water leakage. Water level should not be lower
than the level of detector contacts.
3) Make sure "Alarm" notification is issued by
CP or TRA (indicator flashes once).
8 WARRANTY
The operation warranty period is 2 years from the date
of operation start-up but no longer than 2 years 6
months from the date of manufacturing subject to the
requirements of Operating Manual.
