4. Mounting instructions
Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.

•Mount the included mounting bracket on a sidewall or
another suitable surface at ± 60cm above the ground.
Note: make sure passers-by can not accidentally bump into
it.
•Attach the sensor [9] to the mounting bracket.
•[A] Connect the sensor [9] to the speaker [3].
•[B] Connect the speaker [3] to the mains using the included
adapter [2].
•[C] Set the selector [4] to CHIME.
•[D] Use the included screwdriver to set the timer and
volume of the speaker. Do not force or use any other
screwdriver.
•[E] Locate the best position for the reflector [8] by moving it
against the wall opposite the sensor until the chime stops
and the red alignment LED on the senor is on. Distance must
be at least 50cm and maximum 7m (depends on

environmental conditions. Mount the reflector in that
location.
•When applicable, connect the counter [6] (optional, not incl.)
to the output [5] using the 10m cable that comes with the
counter (PEM7D/C).
5. Troubleshooting
When problems are encountered, refer to following overview
before contacting your local dealer:
•Check that the speaker is set to “CHIME” or “ALARM”. “OFF”
= silent.
•Check that the timer and/or volume are not in the “min.”
position.
•A red LED indicates proper alignment of the sensor and
reflector. If the LED is not lit, realign sensor and reflector.
Distance must be at least 50cm.
•Make sure the adapter is firmly connected to the speaker.
•Make sure the sensor is firmly connected to the input of the
speaker.

•[B] Sluit de luidspreker [3] aan op de netvoeding via de
meegeleverde adapter [2].
•[C] Plaats de keuzeschakelaar [4] op CHIME.
•[D] Stel de timer en het volume van de luidspreker in met
behulp van de meegeleverde schroevendraaier. Draai zonder
forceren en gebruik enkel de meegeleverde
schroevendraaier.
•[E] Plaats de reflector [8] tegen de zijwand rechtover de
sensor en verplaats hem lichtjes totdat het geluid stopt en de
rode led op de sensor brandt. Zorg voor een tussenafstand
van minstens 50 cm en maximaal 7 m (afhankelijk van de
omstandigheden). Bevestig de reflector op de zijwand.
•Sluit indien gewenst de teller [6] (optie PEM7D/C, niet
meegeleverd) aan op de uitgang [5] met behulp van de
kabel van de teller.
5. Problemen oplossen
Bij eventuele problemen, raadpleeg volgende mogelijkheden
alvorens uw verdeler te contacteren:
•Ga na of de luidspreker op CHIME of op ALARM staat. OFF =
uitgeschakeld.
•Ga na of de timer en/of het volume niet op de minimumstand
staan.
•De rode led geeft aan dat sensor en reflector goed op elkaar
zijn uitgelijnd. Indien de rode led niet brandt, moet u beide
elementen opnieuw uitlijnen. Zorg voor een tussenafstand
van minimaal 50 cm.
•Sluit de stekker van de adapter goed aan op de luidspreker.
•Sluit de sensor goed aan op de ingang van de luidspreker.
