1. Allgemeines
1.1 Wichtige Hinweise
Vor Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes ist die Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam zu
lesen und in allen Punkten zu befolgen.
Das Wöhler RF 220 sollte grundsätzlich von fachkundigem Personal für den vor-
gesehenen Zweck und innerhalb der spezifizierten Daten eingesetzt werden. Eine
Haftung oder Garantie für mit dem Gerät ermittelte Ergebnisse oder für bei der
Benutzung des Gerätes entstandene Schäden ist in jedem Fall ausgeschlossen.

2. Spezifikation
2.1 Anwendungen
Das Wöhler RF 220 Hygrotemp ist ein praktisches, mobiles, batteriebetriebenes
Messgerät zur schnellen Bestimmung der Raumluftfeuchte in Wohnräumen und
an Arbeitsstätten.
Es dient zur Kontrolle von Klimasteuerungen, zur Bauschadenanalyse, zur Erken-
nung möglicher Schimmelpilzpotenziale, uvm..
Das Wöhler RF 220 Hygrotemp misst die aktuelle Luftfeuchte und Temperatur
und ermittelt daraus die Taupunkt- und Feuchtkugeltemperatur.

3.1 Displayanzeige

3.2 Tastenfeld
3.2.1 EIN/AUS-Taste
Die EIN/AUS-Taste dient zum Ein- und Ausschalten des Wöhler RF 220.
3.2.2 BKLT-Taste
Nach Drücken der BKLT-Taste wird für ca. 10 Sekunden die Hintergrundbe-
leuchtung eingeschaltet.
3.2.3 F/C CAL+ Taste
Mit dieser Taste können Sie zwischen den Temperatureinheiten Grad Celsius
und Grad Fahrenheit wechseln.
Im Kalibriermodus können Sie durch Drücken der F/C CAL+ Taste für länger als
1 Sekunde den Kalibriermodus vorzeitig beenden.

3.2.4 HOLD-Taste
Mit der HOLD-Taste halten Sie den aktuellen Wert solange, bis die HOLD-Taste
erneut gedrückt wird.
3.2.5 DP/WB-Taste
Drücken Sie die DP/WB-Taste so häufig, bis Ihnen der gewünschte Messwert
angezeigt wird (Taupunkt – Feuchtkugeltemperatur – Temperatur - rel. Luftfeuch-
te).
3.2.6 RST/MN/MX-Taste
Nach Drücken der RST/MN/MX-Taste werden die jeweils niedrigsten bzw.
höchsten Messwerte angezeigt.
Halten Sie diese Taste für mehr als eine Sekunde, um die Min- und Maxwerte
zurückzusetzen.

4. Einstellungen
4.3.1 Auto-Off deaktivieren
Halten Sie im ausgeschalteten Zustand die EIN/AUS-Taste und die HOLD-Taste
gleichzeitig gedrückt. Ein manuelles Ausschalten des Wöhler RF 220 aktiviert die
Auto-Off Funktion erneut.
4.3.2 Kalibrierung der rel. Luftfeuchte
Halten Sie die F/C-Taste und die EIN/AUS-Taste im ausgeschalteten Zustand für
mehr als 1 Sekunden gedrückt, um in den Kalibriermodus zu gelangen. Tauchen
Sie nun den Fühler in die Öffnung der 32,8% Kalibriersalzdose.
In dem Display blinkt nun die folgende Anzeige mit 3x,x%. Nach 30 Minuten wird
der Kalibriermode automatisch beendet und die Kalibrierwerte werden gespei-
chert. Mit der F/C CAL+ Taste können Sie diesen Prozess auch vorzeitig been-
den (1 Sekunde gedrückt halten).
Tauchen Sie dann den Fühler in die Öffnung der 75,3% Kalibriersalzdose, und
drücken Sie die MN/MX/RST-Taste für mehr als 1 Sekunde. Im Display blinkt nun
folgende Anzeige mit 7x,x%.
Nach 30 weiteren Minuten ist der Kalibriervorgang komplett abgeschlossen.
Auch hier können Sie den Vorgang wieder mit der F/C CAL+ Taste vorzeitig ab-
schliessen (1 Sekunde gedrückt halten).
Hinweise:
-Mit der EIN/AUS-Taste kann der Kalibriervorgang jederzeit abgebrochen wer-
den.
-Der Auto-Off Modus ist während der Kalibrierung deaktiviert.
-Um eine höhere Genauigkeit zu erreichen, sollte der Kalibriervorgang bei 21 –
25 °C und stetigem Luftwechsel durchgeführt werden.

5. Konformitätserklärung
Das Produkt: Wöhler RF 220
entspricht den wesentlichen Schutzanforderungen, die in den Richtlinien des
Rates zur Angleichung der Rechtsvorschriften der Mitgliedsstaaten über die e-
lektromagnetische Verträglichkeit (89/336/EEC, 92/31/EEC, 93/68/EEC) festge-
legt sind.
Zur Beurteilung des Produkts hinsichtlich der elektromagnetischen Verträglich-
keit wurden folgende Normen herangezogen:

Dieser Erklärung liegen Messungen Dritter zugrunde.

6. Garantie und Service
6.1 Garantie
Bei sachgemäßem Gebrauch beträgt die Garantiezeit auf das
Wöhler RF 220 Hygrotemp 12 Monate ab Verkaufsdatum. Ausgenommen sind
Verschleißteile (z.B. Batterien). Die Kosten für den Transport und die Verpackung
des Geräts im Reparaturfall werden von dieser Garantie nicht abgedeckt.
6.2 Service
Der SERVICE wird bei uns groß geschrieben. Deshalb sind wir auch selbstver-
ständlich nach der Garantiezeit für Sie da.
· Sie schicken das Messgerät zu uns, wir reparieren es innerhalb weniger
Tage und schicken es Ihnen mit unserem Paketdienst.
· Sofortige Hilfe erhalten Sie durch unsere Techniker am Telefon.
6.3 Hinweise zur Entsorgung
Schadhafte Batterien, die aus dem Gerät genommen werden,
können sowohl im Werk als auch an Rücknahmestellen der
öffentlich-rechtlichen Entsorgungsträger oder an Verkaufsstellen für
Neubatterien oder Akkus abgegeben werden.
Elektronische Geräte gehören nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern müs-
sen in der Europäischen Union – gemäß Richtlinie 2002/96/EG des
Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates vom 27. Januar 2003 über
Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte – einer fachgerechten Entsorgung zugeführt

1. Preface
1.1 General Information
Carefully study and observe all items of these operating instructions before
commissioning the unit.
In principle, the Wöhler RF 220 Hygrotemp should only be used by skilled per-
sonnel for its intended purpose and within the specified range of data. Any liabil-
ity or warranty for results established or for defects caused when using the unit is
excluded by all means.

2.1 Application
The Wöhler RF 220 Hygrotemp is a handy, handheld, battery powered instru-
ment designed for the quick determination of the air humidity in housing spaces
and workplaces.
It can be applied to control clima systems, to analyze structural damages, to
discover potential mould areas and so on.
The Wöhler RF 220 Hygrotemp measures the actual air humidity and tempera-
ture and calculates the dew point and the wet bulb by this values.

3.1 Display

3.2 Keypad
3.2.1 ON/OFF key
Press the ON/OFF key to turn the Wöhler RF 220 on and off.
3.2.2 BKLT-key
Press this key to turn on the back light of the display for 10 seconds.
3.2.3 F/C CAL+ key
In normal mode, press this key to switch between the units C° and F.
In calibration mode, press this key more than one second to stop the calibration
manually.

3.2.4 HOLD key
Press this key to hold the current reading. Press this key again to unlock.
3.2.5 DP/WB-key
Press this key to switch between dew point – wet bulb – temperature and relative
humidity).
3.2.6 RST/MN/MX key
Press this key to switch the display of min., max and the current value.
Press the key for more than one second to reset the min. and max value.

3.3 Settings
3.3.1 Entering non-sleep mode
When the meter is off, press and hold the ON/OFF key and the Hold key to enter
non-sleep mode. The non-sleep mode will be invalid after power off.
3.3.2 Calibration of the relative humidity
Turn off the meter and press the ON/OFF and the F/C key more than one second
to turn on the meter and enter into the calibration mode. Plug the meter probe
into a 32.8% salt bottle.
You will see 3x.x% flashing in the display. After 30 minutes, the calibration proc-
ess will stop automatically and the calibration values are saved. You can also
manually end and save the calibration by pressing the F/C Cal key for more than
1 second.
After that move the meter probe into a 75.3% salt bottle and press the
MN/MX/RST key more than one second to enter the 7x.x% calibration. “7.x.x%“
will flash on the LCD.
After 30 minutes the whole calibration is completed. You can also manually end
and save the calibration by pressing the F/C CAL key for more than one second.
Note:
-You can manually exit the calibration without saving by pressing the ON/OFF
key.
-The auto power off mode is automatically disabled during the calibration pro-
cedure.
-In order to get high accuracy, you should do the calibration at a 23 to 25 °C
and steady air flow room.

5. Guarantee and Service
5.1 Guarantee
The guarantee period for the meter is 12 months from the sales date, provided
that it is used correctly.
This guarantee does not include the costs for transport and packing material in
case of repair. It will expire, if third persons, who are not authorized, repair or
change the device.
5.2 Service
We see SERVICE as a very important element in our business. That is why we
are still available to you even after the guarantee period has expired.
• An immediate repair will be carried out if you bring your meter to one of
our approved service centers listed below.
• You can obtain immediate help from our engineers by telephone.
5.3 Information on disposal
You may hand in any defective batteries taken out of the unit to our
company as well as to recycling places of public disposal systems
or to selling points of new batteries or storage batteries.
In the European Union, electronic equipment does not belong into
domestic waste but - in accordance with Directive 2002/96/EC of
the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 January 2003 on
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment - must be disposed of in
an expert manner. If you do no longer need this unit, please dispose of it in ac-
cordance with the applicable statutory provisions.

Par principe, le Wöhler RF 220 ne devrait être utilisé que par un personnel com-
pétent, conformément à l’usage prévu et dans les limites des caractéristiques
spécifiées. Toute garantie ou responsabilité est exclue - dans tous les cas - aussi
bien pour les résultats déterminés à l’aide l’appareil que pour les dommages
survenus lors de l’utilisation de l’appareil.

L’hygro-thermomètre Wöhler RF 220 est un appareil de mesure portable et prati-
que, alimenté par piles. Il permet de déterminer rapidement l’humidité dans les
locaux d'habitation et de travail.
Il sert à contrôler le bon fonctionnement des automates de commandes prévus
pour les climatisations, à analyser les dommages affectant les bâtiments, à re-
connaître la formation potentielle de moisissures et bien davantage encore…
L’hygro-thermomètre Wöhler RF 220 mesure l’humidité de l’air et la température
et détermine alors la température du point de rosée et la température au ther-
momètre mouillé (bulbe humide).

3.2 Panneau de touches
3.2.1 Touche Marche / Arrêt
La touche MARCHE / ARRÊT sert à mettre en marche et arrêter l’appareil Wöhler
RF 220.
3.2.2 Touche BKLT
En appuyant sur la touche BKLT on met en marche le rétroéclairage pour une
durée d’environ 10 secondes.
3.2.3 Touche F/C CAL+
A partir de cette touche vous pouvez passer des unités de température en de-
grés Celsius aux unités de température en degrés Fahrenheit.
Sur le mode de calibrage vous pouvez interrompre le calibrage prématurément
en appuyant sur la touche F/C CAL+ et la maintenant enfoncée pendant plus
d’une seconde.
