Making internalcalls
Dialtheextension numberrequiredorpress therelevant extensionkey.
Making external calls
Dial 9followedbythetelephonenumber.
Answeringcalls(internal&external)
Lift thehandset orpress the Handsfree key.
Aninternalcall willbe1longring.Anexternalcallwill be2shortrings.
Check thedisplay,thiswilltellyouthenameoftheinternalcallerorwillshowtheexternalnumbercallingyou.
Ifthedisplayshows****orsimplysaysExternalthecallerhaswithheldtheirnumber.
Ifyouareusing aheadset,toanswerthecallpressthe Handsfree keyandusethe DisconnectCall keytofinishyourcall.
To setacallback(on abusyextension)
The call back function onlyworkson internalcalls
Onhearingthebusytone, press Callback inthedisplay.
When theirextension becomesfree yourphonewill ring, whenyouliftyourreceiverthecalledextension will ringimmediately.
To transferacall
Dialtheextension number,ortheexternalnumber(prefixedwitha9)andannouncethecallifapplicable.Pressthe Transfer
keyinthedisplayorsimplyhangup.
NBExternaltransferisonlypossibleifthefacilityhasbeenauthorisedon yourextension.
To cancelthetransfer
Ifthereisnoanswer,ortheextensionuserdoesnotwishtotakethecall,press the disconnect keytodisconnectthecallfrom
theextension andthenpress thetop rightdisplaykeywhereyousee yourcallerholding.
To holdacall
Press the Hold keyinthedisplay. Thehandsetsymbolwill bereplacedbyamusicalnote.
To regainaheldcall
Press thetoprightdisplaykeywhereyou see yourcallerholding. Youwill bereconnectedtothecaller.
To redialthelast10external numbersdialled
Press andreleasetheredialkeytoredialthelast externalnumber.
ORpressandholdtheredialkey(for2secs)thedisplaywill showthelast10diallednumbers.Scrolldownusing Up/Down
Navigator andpress OK todialthenumberhighlighted.
To sendMFTouchTones –DTMF(neededwhendiallingintoexternalvoicemailorautoattendantsystem)
Scrolldownusing Up/DownNavigator and press MFCode inyourdisplayordial 69. You cannowfollowthevoicepromptsby
pressingtherequesteddigitson yourkeypad.
To answeracallforanotherextension inyourpick upgroup
Press the PickUp keyinthedisplayordial 14.Thiswillintercept thelongestwaitingcallringing toyourpickupgroup.
To answeracallforaspecificextensionoronethatisnotwithinyourpickupgroup

To interceptacall on themain telephonenumberwhen thesystemisin nightservice (Restricted Mode)
Dial 15 on hearingthenight servicetelephonesringing.
To setup aconferencecall–yourextensionand 2otherparties
When youareonacallandwishathirdpersontojointheconversation,dialtheextensionnumberorexternalnumberprefixed witha9.This
will putyourfirst call onhold,whenyouareconnectedtothesecond person,press Conference in thedisplayordial 50.
To setautomaticanswering (pleaseturn offwhen you leave yourdesk)
When yourphoneisidlepress the Mute key.Anyinternal callswillnowcomethrough toyouautomaticallyonhandsfree.
Tocancel,press the Mute keyagain. If autoanswerisactivethekeywill beilluminated.
To muteacallduring aconversation
While speaking press the Mute key.Thisstopsthecallerhearing whatyouaresayingbutwill allowyoutocontinuelisteningtothecaller.
Thekeywillflashwhenactive
Tocancel,press thekeyagain.
To parkacall (Thisenablesyou toleave acall on oneextensionand retrieve fromanalternative extension)
When youhaveacall activescroll downusingthe Up/DownNavigationkeys andpressthe Park keyinthedisplayordial 12.Thenhang
up.
To retrieve aparkedcall
Fromanyphoneonthesystempress the Park keyordial 12 plustheextensionnumberofwherethecallwasoriginallyparked.
To divertall callstovoicemail
Press the ForwardIcon (top rightdisplaykey),select Immediate VM.TheForwardIconwillnowrotatein thedisplaytoshowthedivertis
active.
To divertyourcallstoanotherdestination
Press the ForwardIcon (toprightdisplaykey), select Immediate thenentertheextensionnumberyouwishtodivertto.
To canceladivert
Press the ForwardIcon (toprightdisplaykey), scroll downusingthe Up/DownNavigation Key thenselect CancelFwd.
To dialbyname forinternalentriesand thecompanydirectory
Youmustsearchbyfirstname.Simplyenteraminimumof2lettersintoyourkeypad andthen usethe Left/RightNavigatorPad toscroll to
therelevant entry.Todial, press OKinthedisplay.
To remove yourphonefromahuntgroup
Dial 66 andthegroup numberyouwouldliketowithdrawfrom.
To putyourphonebackinahuntgroup
Dial 67 andthegroup numberthatyouareassigned to.
To changeyourringingtoneand volume
Select Menu tabinthedisplayusingthe Left/RightNavigatorPad.Select Settings, Phone, Ringing, Melody.Scroll usingthe Up/Down
Navigator andpress OK toselect.
To programmepersonalspeeddialnumbers
Select Menu tabinthedisplayusingthe Left/RightNavigatorPad.Select Settings,scrolldownand select Keys,thenpress asparekey
(scrolltofindone).Press Number,enterthetelephonenumberyouwishtostore(include9ifthenumberisexternal),press OK.Select
Name thenenteraname, press OK.
To dial yourpersonalspeed dials
Press therelevantprogrammedkey.
Programmingthecontrastofyourhandsetscreen
Select Menu tabinthedisplayusingthe Left/RightNavigatorPad.Select Settings, Phone, Contrast, Screen thenusethe+and –in the
displaytoadjust thebrightness thenpress OK.
To identifytheextension numberofthehandsetyouareon
Select Info tabin thedisplayusingthe Left/RightNavigatorPad.Yourextensiondetailswill bedisplayedinthisscreen.
To lock yourphone(thiswill notallowexternalcallsto bemadefromyourextension)
Select Menu tab inthedisplayusing the Left/RightNavigatorPad.Press Lock inthedisplayand enterpassword(default1515).Ifyou
areavoicemailuserthenyoupasswordwill changetoyourvoicemailpassword.Apictureof apadlockwillappearat thetopofthedisplay.
To unlockyourphone(thiswillallowexternal callstobemadefromyourextension)
Select Menu tabinthedisplayusingthe Left/RightNavigatorPad. Press Lock inthedisplayand enterpassword(default1515).Ifyouare
avoicemailuserthenyoupasswordwill changetoyourvoicemailpassword.
Tocleartextmessagesformissed calls.
Press yourMailkey.SelectText.Youwill seethetelephonenumberofyourmissed callinyourdisplay.SelectCalltoreturnthecallor
select Cleartodisregard/erase.
Toput yourphoneintoheadset/handsetmode

DialtheBroadcastGroup(from41–48)waitforthebeeps,announceyourbroadcast.Thiswillbereceivedthroughtheloudspeakerofall
phonesprogrammedwithin thatgroup.
To makeacall usingthespeed dialnumber(companydirectory)
Dialthespeeddial number(7000-7999). Youdonothavetodial a9foranoutsideline.
To putthesystemin and outofNightService
Press F1 keyand enterpassword (Help1954). Alldisplayhandsetswill show‘RestrictedMode’intheirscreen.
To setanOperatorDivert
Press F2.Enterdestination,i,e,speeddial,internal extensionorahuntgroup number.Enterpassword (help1954).
To remove anOperatorDivert
