Relamping/Maintenance
Carefully unscrew and remove lens with attached
gasket to relamp. Clean luminaire and lens using only
solvent-free cleansers. Replace lens.

Notice to Installer for 44 009:
1. For wall applications only.
2. Mounts directly to recessed BEGA 19 538 wiring box (provided) using mounting
plate (provided).
3. In conformance with UL Standard 1598, a silicone based sealant MUST be
used between luminaire and supporting wall.
44 009 - installation:
1. Unscrew and remove glass lens.
2. Feed luminaire wiring through stainless steel mounting plate and into the wiring box.
3. Make supply wiring and luminaire wiring connections inside the wiring box:
MAIN VOLTAGE SUPPLY WIRE TO BLACK LUMINAIRE WIRE
NEUTRAL (COMMON) SUPPLY WIRE TO WHITE LUMINAIRE WIRE
GREEN GROUND WIRE TO GREEN LUMINAIRE WIRE
4. Attach stainless steel mounting plate to 19 538 wiring box. (Figure 1)
5. Attach mounting strap to mounting plate using (2) 8-32 screws (by others).
6. Mount luminaire over mounting strap and tighten set screw at bottom of luminaire.
7. Replace lens.
