McDonald’s Alert Guide
FILTER ERROR “IS POT FILLED?” = During the AIF procedure, the display may
show “IS POT FILLED?”. If the vat is full, press the  button to resume normal
operation. If the vat is not full, press the X button for “NO” and the fryer will pump
for 30 seconds more, then the display again shows “IS POT FILLED?”.
Note: To avoid getting this message make sure filter pan is cleaned at least daily,
filter pad is changed, JIB is full, and “O” rings are in good condition.
“CHECK PAN” = Filter pan is not locked in place.
“CHANGE FILTER PAD” = Filter pad has not been changed within 25 hour time
period.
ELECTRIC FRYERS ONLY! “E-31” “HEATING ELEMENTS ARE UP” = Heating
elements have been left up during maintenance filter. Lower heating elements.
ELECTRIC FRYERS, “E-10” “HI LIMIT TRIPPED” = Allow heating elements to cool
for 15-20 minutes and reset high limit by pressing down and releasing raised side
of the switch for the vat that is not operating. All switches are located behind right
door next to JIB. If high limit does not reset, call for service. See ELECTRIC
FRYERS photo below.
GAS FRYERS. “E-10” “HI LIMIT TRIPPED” = Allow fryer to cool for 15-20 minutes
and reset high limit by pressing down and releasing raised side of the switch for
the vat that is not operating; a single reset switch is located behind the door of
each well. If high limit does not reset, call for service. See GAS FRYERS photo
below.

EROARE DE FILTRARE „IS POT FILLED? (RECIPIENTUL ESTE PLIN?)” = În timpul procedurii
AIF, afişajul poate arăta „IS POT FILLED? (RECIPIENTUL ESTE PLIN?)”. În cazul în care cuva
este plină, apăsaţi butonul pentru a relua funcţionarea normală. În cazul în care cuva nu este
plină, apăsaţi butonul X pentru „NO (NU)”, iar friteuza va pompa încă30 de secunde, apoi
afişajul aratădin nou „IS POT FILLED? (RECIPIENTUL ESTE PLIN?)”.
Notă: Pentru a evita primirea acestui mesaj, asiguraţi-văcăbaia filtrului este curăţatăcel puţin
zilnic, elementul filtrant este schimbat, JIB este plin, iar inelele O sunt în stare bună.
„CHECK PAN (VERIFICARE BAIE)” = Baia filtrului nu este fixatăpe poziţie.
„CHANGE FILTER PAD (SCHIMBAŢI ELEMENTUL FIILTRANT)” = Elementul filtrant nu a fost
schimbat în ultimele 25 de ore.
NUMAI FRITEUZE ELECTRICE! „E-31” „HEATING ELEMENTS ARE UP (ELEMENTELE DE
ÎNCĂLZIRE SUNT RIDICATE)” = Elementele de încălzire au fost lăsate ridicate în timpul
întreţinerii filtrului. Coborâţi elementele de încălzire.
FRITEUZE ELECTIRCE, „E-10” „HI LIMIT TRIPPED (LIMITĂSUPERIOARĂDECLANŞATĂ)” = Lăsaţi
elementele de încălzire săse răceascătimp de 15-20 de minute şi resetaţi limita superioarăprin
apăsarea în jos şi eliberarea părţii ridicate a comutatorului pentru cuva care nu funcţionează.
Toate comutatoarele sunt amplasate în spatele uşii din dreapta, alături de JIB. Dacălimita
superioarănu se resetează, apelaţi la service. Vezi mai jos, fotografia FRITEUZE ELECTRICE.
FRITEUZE CU GAZ. „E-10” „HI LIMIT TRIPPED (LIMITĂSUPERIOARĂDECLANŞATĂ)” = Lăsaţi
friteuza săse răceascătimp de 15-20 de minute şi resetaţi limita superioarăprin apăsarea în
jos şi eliberarea părţii ridicate a comutatorului pentru cuva care nu este în funcţiune; un singur
comutator de resetare este amplasat în spatele uşii fiecărei camere. Dacălimita superioarănu

8. Press button and “TEMP” shows in the display. Press the product buttons to change the
temperature. The temperature range is 190°F (88°C) to 380°F (193°C).
9. Press button and “COOK ID” shows in the display. Enter abbreviated product name (Ex: NUG)
10. Press button and “DUTY 1” shows in the display. Press the product buttons to set an alarm (Ex: 0:30
sets an alarm at 30 seconds after the start of the cook cycle.
11. Press button and “DUTY 2” shows in the display, and a second alarm can be programmed.
12. Press button and “QUAL TMR” shows in the display. Press product buttons to set holding time.
13. Press button and “AIF DISABLE” shows in the display and “YES” or “NO”. Using and
buttons, change the display to “YES” if that product is to not be included in the automatic intermittent
filtration counts, or “NO” if it is to be included.
14. Press button and“ASSIGN BTN” shows in the display, along with the product (ex: NUGGETS). If
this product already has a product button assigned to it, that LED will be lit. To assign other product
buttons to that product, press and hold the product button for 3 seconds and that LED stays lit. To remove
a product from a button, press and hold the product button with a lit LED and the LED goes out.
15. To program another product, press Xbutton and “SELECT PRODUCT” shows in display. Continue with
step 3 above.
16. Press Xbutton 3 times to end programming.

1. Menţineţi apăsate butoanele şi pânăcând pe afişaj apare LEVEL - 1 (NIVEL -1). Eliberaţi butoanele.
2. Afişajele arată„LEVEL 1 (NIVEL 1)” şi „ENTER CODE (INTRODUCERE COD)”. Introduceţi codul 1, 2, 3, 4. Afişajul arată
„PRODUCT (PRODUS)” şi „SELECTN (SE SELECTEAZĂ)”.
3. Apăsaţi butonul √, iar pe afişaj apare „SELECT PRODUCT (SELECTARE PRODUS)’’ şi „FR FRIES (CARTOFI PRĂJIŢI)” sau
„NUGGETS”.
4. Butoanele şi deruleazăprin 40 de produse sau apăsaţi butonul pentru produsul dorit.
5. Apăsaţi butonul √, iar produsul apare în afişajul din stânga, iar în afişajul din dreapta apar „MODIFY? (MODIFICAŢI?)” şi „YES NO
(DA NU)”. Apăsaţi butonul √pentru a schimba acest produs sau apăsaţi butonul Xpentru a alege un alt produs.
6. Dacăa fost apăsat butonul √, folosiţi butoanele produsului pentru a introduce numele produsului, aşa cum aţi introduce text la
telefonul dumneavoastrăcelular. Dupăce pe afişaj apare litera dorită, apăsaţi butonul pentru a continua cu următoarea literă.
7. Dupăfinalizarea numelui, apăsaţi butonul , iar pe afişaj va apărea „COOK TIME (DURATĂGĂTIT)”. Folosiţi butoanele pentru
produs pentru a schimba timpul măsurat în minute şi secunde la un maximum de 59:59.
8. Apăsaţi butonul , iar pe afişaj apare „TEMP”. Apăsaţi butoanele pentru produs pentru a schimba temperatura. Intervalul de
temperaturăeste de la 190°F (88°C) pânăla 380°F (193°C).
9. Apăsaţi butonul , iar pe afişaj apare „COOK ID (ID GĂTIT)”. Introduceţi numele abreviat al produsului (de ex.: NUG)
10. Apăsaţi butonul , iar pe afişaj apare „DUTY 1 (SARCINA 1)”. Apăsaţi butonul pentru produs pentru a seta o alarmă(de ex.:

13. Apăsaţi butonul , iar pe afişaj apare „AIF DISABLE (DEZACTIVARE AIF)” şi „YES (DA)” sau „NO (NU)”. Cu ajutorul
butoanelor şi , schimbaţi afişajul în „YES (DA)” dacărespectivul produs nu va fiinclus în numărările automate intermitente
ale filtrării sau „NO (NU)” dacăva fiinclus.
14. Apăsaţi butonul , iar pe afişaj apare „ASSIGN BTN (ATRIBUIRE BTN)”, alături de produs (de ex.: NUGGETS). Dacăprodusul
are deja atribuit un buton, LED-ul respectiv va fiaprins. Pentru atribuirea altor butoane respectivului produs, menţineţi apăsat butonul
pentru produs timp de 3 secunde, iar LED-ul rămâne aprins. Pentru a elimina un produs de la un buton, menţineţi apăsat butonul
pentru produs cu LED-ul aprins, iar LED-ul se stinge.
15. Pentru a programa un alt produs, apăsaţi butonul X, iar pe afişaj apare „SELECT PRODUCT (SELECTARE PRODUS)”. Continuaţi
cu pasul 3 de mai sus.
16. Apăsaţi butonul X de 3 ori pentru finalizarea programării.

Gloves. Hot oil can cause severe burns.

5. Electric units only. Use the lift tool and lift the hinged element to clean
the bottom of the vat. Use care not to damage high limit bulb. Figure 1.
6. Use the scouring tool, a nylon scouring pad, and a small amount of McD
Fryer Cleanser to scrub the inside of the vat. Be careful not to damage
the sensing probes.
7. Once vat is clean, the display shows SCRUB VAT COMPLETE?, and
YES NO. Press √√
√√
√ and the display shows WASH VAT?, and YES NO.
8. Lower the elements (electric units only) and press √√
√√
√ and display shows WASHING (oil is pumped through
the open drain to help wash crumbs out of the vat). Once the wash cycle is complete, display shows WASH
AGAIN?, and YES NO.
9. Press √√

√ if another wash is needed, otherwise press X button for NO and the display shows RINSING (vat is
filled with oil and drained to help rinse crumbs off the vat sides). When rinsing is complete, display shows
RINSE AGAIN?, and YES NO.
10. Press √√

√ if another rinse is needed, otherwise press X button for NO. Display shows POLISH, and YES.
11. Press √√

√ button and the oil is “polished” and the display shows 5:00, followed by STOP POLISH. (Polishing is
filtering the oil for an extended period to clean it.) If desired, press X button for STOP to stop the polishing
early, otherwise the oil is polished for 5 minutes.
12. The display shows FILL VAT?, and YES. Press √√

√ and display shows FILLING and vat fills with oil.
13. Once full, display shows IS POT FILLED?, and YES NO. Press √√

√ and fryer returns to normal operation.

1. Îmbrăcaţi echipamentul de protecţie: Folosiţi întreg echipamentul de siguranţă aprobat de McDonald’s,
inclusiv şorţ, mascăpentru faţă şi mănuşi. Uleiul fierbinte poate produce arsuri grave.
2. Menţineţi apăsat (pe oricare dintre părţi) pânăcând pe afişaj apare 1. AUTO FILTER (1. FILTRARE
AUTOMATĂ).
3. Apăsaţi şi eliberaţi , iar afişajul arată2.MAINT FILTER (2. FILTRARE DE ÎNTREŢINERE).
Apăsaţi butonul √, iar afişajul aratăMAN FLTR (FILTRARE MANUALĂ)
şiYES NO (DA NU).
4. Apăsaţi √, iar afişajul aratăDRAINING (GOLIRE), iar uleiul se goleşte
din cuvă, sau apăsaţi butonul Xpentru NO (NU), iar comenzile revin la
funcţionarea normală. Pentru unităţile cu gaz, continuaţi cu pasul 6.
5. Numai unităţile electrice. Folosiţi unealta de ridicare şi ridicaţi
elementul prevăzut cu balama pentru a curăţa partea inferioarăa cuvei.
Aveţi grijăsănu deterioraţi becul pentru limitare superioară. Figura 1.
6. Folosiţi unealta de curăţat, o lavetăde curăţat din nylon, şi o cantitate
micăde McD Fryer Cleanser pentru a freca interiorul cuvei. Aveţi grijă
sănu deterioraţi sondele de sesizare.
7. Dupăcuraţarea cuvei, afişajul aratăSCRUB VAT COMPLETE?
(CURĂŢARE CUVĂFINALIZATĂ?) şi YES NO (DA NU). Apăsaţi √,
iar afişajul aratăWASH VAT? (SPĂLARE CUVĂ?) şi YES NO (DA NU).
8. Coborâţi elementele (numai unităţile electrice) şi apăsaţi √, iar afişajul
aratăWASHING (SE SPALĂ) (uleiul este pompat prin scurgerea deschisăpentru a îndepărta din cuvăprin
spălare firimiturile). Dupăfinalizarea ciclului de spălare, afişajul aratăWASH AGAIN? (SPĂLAŢI DIN
NOU?) şi YES NO (DANU).
9. Apăsaţi √dacăeste necesarăo altăspălare, în caz contrar apăsaţi butonul Xpentru NO (NU), iar afişajul arată
RINSING (SE CLĂTEŞTE) (cuva este umplutăcu ulei şi golităpentru a ajuta la clătirea firimiturilor de pe pereţii
cuvei). La finalizarea clătirii, afişajul aratăRINSEAGAIN? (CLĂTIŢI DIN NOU?) şiYES NO (DA NU).
10. Apăsaţi √dacăeste necesarăo altăclătire, în caz contrar apăsaţi butonul Xpentru NO (NU). Afişajul arată
POLISH (LUSTRUIRE) şi YES (DA).
11. Apăsaţi butonul √iar uleiul este „lustruit”, iar afişajul arată5:00, urmat de STOP POLISH (OPRIRE
LUSTRUIRE). (Lustruirea este filtrarea uleiului o perioadălungăde timp pentru a îl curăţa). Dacăse
doreşte, apăsaţi butonul Xpentru STOP (OPRIRE) pentru a opri timpuriu lustruirea, în caz contrar uleiul este
lustruit timp de 5 minute.
12. Afişajul aratăFILL VAT? (UMPLERE CUVĂ?) şi YES (DA). Apăsaţi √, iar afişajul aratăFILLING (SE
UMPLE), iar cuva se umple cu ulei.
13. Dupăumplere, afişajul aratăIS POT FILLED? (RECIPIENTUL ESTE PLIN?) şi YES NO (DA NU). Apăsaţi
√şi friteuza revine la funcţionarea normală.

2. Open RH door and slide
JIB from shelf. Depress
release button and dis-
connect hose from tube.
Pull fill tube from JIB and
pour remaining oil into the
vats equally.
3. Prepare new jug to accept
the tube and insert tube
into new jug. Then slide
new jug into position
under fryer. Depress
release button and con-
nect fill hose to fill tube.

UMPLEREA CUBITAINERULUI (JIB)
FRITEUZE ÎN SISTEM VRAC (RTI)
2. Deschideţi uşa din dreapta
şi glisaţi JIB de pe raft.
Apăsaţi butonul de eliberare şi
deconectaţi furtunul de la tub.
Trageţi tubul de umplere de la
JIB şi turnaţi uleiul rămas în
mod egal în cuve.
3. Pregătiţi noul cubitainer pentru
acceptarea tubului şi introduceţi
tubul în noul cubitainer. Apoi
glisaţi pe poziţie noul cubitainer
sub friteuză. Apăsaţi butonul de
eliberare şi conectaţi furtunul de
umplere la tubul de umplere.

(VERIFICARE JIB)”, iar
lampa galbenăse aprinde,
umpleţi JIB.

Apăsaţi butonul Xşi AIF este anulată. Lampa albastrăse stinge, iar comenzile revin la funcţio-
narea normală. Comenzile vor sugera filtrarea ulterioară.
3. Dacăse doreşte filtrarea, apăsaţi butonul √, iar afişajul aratăDRAINING (GOLIRE). Scurgerea
se deschide, iar uleiul se goleşte din cuvă.
4. Dupăce friteuza încheie modurile de spălare şi umplere, comenzile revin la funcţionarea
normală.
