IMPORTANT POINTS
You have just acquired Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and we thank you for your confi-
dence. In order for this product to meet all your requirements, we ask that BEFORE EACH USE,
you follow the instructions in this manual. Disregarding the instructions described in this manual
could result in serious repercussions. We recommend that you re-read these instructions period-
ically. In addition, the manufacturer or his representative declines all liability for any use, storage
methods or maintenance carried out in any other manner than that described in this manual.
IF THE BUYER IS NOT THE END USER, IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT HE GIVES THESE IN
STRUCTIONS TO THE LATTER.
If the product is resold outside the first intended country, for the safety of the user, the reseller
must provide:
• Maintenance Instructions
• Instructions for periodic inspections
• Instructions for repairs
• Additional information specifically required for the equipment
A safety harness is the only personal fall protection device that is allowed for use in a fall arrest
system. Before use, make sure that the recommendations for each element associated with this
product, as well as those defined in their instructions for use, are respected and that they respect
the applicable European standards, or in the absence of such, any other appropriate standard and
that the safety features do not interfere with each other. Your PPE protects against falls.
Whenever possible, it is strongly advised to assign the PPE to an individual user. Check to make
sure that the PPE that you have just acquired is compatible with the recommendations of the other
fall prevention system. While in use, protect your PPE against all risks associated with the work
environment: thermal, electrical or mechanical shocks, acid discharges, sharp edges, etc…
WARNING
Activities at height are dangerous and can cause serious accidents and injuries. We re-
mind you that you are personally liable in the case of an accident, injury or fatality to
either yourself or a third party during or following the use of one of our products. The
use of our products is reserved to authorized persons who have gone through the proper
training or who are operating under the supervision and instruction of an authorized
superior.
Ensure that you have been adequately trained in the use of this PPE and make sure that
you fully understand how it works. If there is any doubt, do not take any risks but rather
seek advice. Good physical condition is required in order to carry out work at height.
Certain medical contraindications can threaten the user’s safety (taking medications,
cardiovascular problems, etc.) during normal use of the PPE and in emergencies. In any
case of doubt, consult your physician.
CONFORMITY WITH THE EN 354 STANDARD
Connecting webbing lanyard or rope of synthetic fibres, looped and/or with thimbles with/without
connectors (conformity with EN 362) – Must not be used except as restraint or work positioning
system. Information about material available on equipment marking. The lanyard should not be
used beyond its limits or for any purpose other than its own.
CONFORMITY WITH THE EN 355 STANDARD
Connection lanyard with integrated energy absorber or energy absorber alone must not exceed 2m
maximum with connector.
Synthetic fibre webbing lanyard or rope with energy absorber, looped and/or with thimbles with/
without connectors (conformity with EN 361) – Designed more specifically for use in conjunction
