1) Manipular el paquete con cuidado. Desembalarlo
y comprobar que el contenido coincide con lo
indicado en el apartado de la “Lista de emba-
laje”. Si se observa algún componente dañado
o la ausencia de alguno avisar rápidamente al
distribuidor.
2) No instalar ni utilizar el equipo sin leer, previa-
mente, este manual de instrucciones.
3) Estas instrucciones forman parte inseparable
del aparato y deben estar disponibles a todos
los usuarios del equipo.
4) Cualquier duda puede ser aclarada contactando
con el servicio técnico de J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
5) ¡ATENCIÓN! NO SE ADMITIRÁ NINGUNA
MÁQUINA PARA REPARAR QUE NO ESTÉ
DEBIDAMENTE LIMPIA Y DESINFECTADA.
6) Toda modicación, eliminación o falta de mante-
nimiento de cualquier dispositivo de la máquina,
transgrede la directiva de utilización 89/655/CEE
y el fabricante no se hace responsable de los
daños que pudieran derivarse.
7) No utilizar el equipo con uidos que puedan
desprender vapores o formar mezclas explosivas
o inamables.

GENERAL INFORMATION
1) Handle the parcel with care. Unpack and check that
the contents coincide with the packing-list. If any part
is damaged or missing, please advise the distributor
immediately.
2) Do not install or use the equipment without reading
this handbook before.
3) This handbook must always be attached to the
equipment and it must be available for all users.
4) If you have any doubts or enquiries, please contact
with your supplier or J.P. Selecta’s technical service.
5) IMPORTANT! J.P. SELECTA WILL NOT ACCEPT
ANY EQUIPMENT TO BE REPAIRED IF IT IS NOT
DULY CLEANED.
6) If any modification, elimination or lacking in
maintenance of any device of the equipment by
the user transgress the directive 89/655/CEE, the
manufacturer is not responsible for the damage that
can occur.
7) Do not use the equipment with liquids which can
give off vapours capable of making explosive mixtures.

Asegúrese que el equipo se conecta al voltaje
indicado en la placa de características.
No utilice el equipo sin estar conectada la toma
de tierra.
Si cambia la clavija del enchufe, tenga en cuenta
que el cable amarillo/verde es el de tierra de pro-
tección y está conectado al envolvente metálico
del equipo.
Be sure that the voltage supply match the one
indicated on the characteristics plate.
Do not use the equipment if it is NOT EARTHED.
If you have to change the plug bear, in mind that
the yellow/green cable is the protective earth and
it is connected to the metallic envelope of the
equipment

INSTALACIÓN
• Situar el contador en una supercie plana y estable.
• Preveer una toma de red cercana.
• Roscar la varilla soporte lente (3) en la base del
cuenta colonias.
• Situar la lente (5) en la varilla (3) mediante la nuez
de jación (4). Esta nuez permite un enfoque ajusta-
ble en altura de la lente y un giro completo de 360º.
• Situar la base (transparente) porta-cápsulas (6),
según se indica en la fotografía.
• Colocar el disco de contaje Wolffhuegel (7) en la
base porta- cápsulas (6).
• Enchufar el cable de red.
INSTALLATION
• Place the counter on a at and leveled surface.
• A mains plug must be near.
• Screw the blade lent holder (3) into the screwed hole
of the colony counter.
• Fix the holder bosshead (4) with lent (5) in the blade
(3). The bosshead is adjustable, allowing the lent to
be raised or lowered to your preference. This lent can
rotate a full 360º.
• Place the transparent base into the holder capsule
hole (6).
• Place the Wolffhuegel counting plate (7) on the holder
capsule base (6).
• Plug the power supply cable into a 220V single-phase
socket.

OPERACIÓN
• Accionar el interruptor principal (8) situado en la
parte posterior.
• El display (1) debe indicar 000 para empezar a con-
tar, si no es asi, pulsar el botón de puesta a cero (2).
• El contaje se realiza por presión punteando en
la cápsulas (6) con cualquier puntero (bolígrafo,
punzón,etc...)
• Una vez realizado el contaje, pulsar el botón puesta
a cero (2).
OPERATION
• Turn on the main switch (8) placed at rear part.
• The digital counter display (1) must show 000, if not,
press the “reset” key (2).
• Colony counting is done by pressing the capsules (6)
with any sharp-pointed tool (like a pen, puch,etc...).
• Once the counting is nished, press the “reset” key
(2).
MANTENIMIENTO
Antes de quitar la tapa del contador para mani-
pular en su interior desconecte la toma de red.
La manipulación de los circuitos electrónicos
internos de la placa por personal no autorizado
puede provocar daños de difícil reparación. Ase-
gúrese de llevar el equipo a uno de los servicios
técnicos autorizados por J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
LIMPIEZA:
Utilize alcohol o un desengrasante similar aplicado
con un paño no abrasivo para limpiar la lente, el
porta-capsulas y el resto de partes del equipo. No
utilice disolventes orgánicos que puedan dañar las
piezas de plástico.
MAINTENANCE
Before removing the covers, disconnect the
equipment from mains.
The manipulation of the internal electronic circuits
of the plate by unauthorized personnel can cause
damage of difcult solution. Make sure to take it
to one of J.P.Selecta, s.a.u. authorized technical
services.
CLEANING:
Use alcohol or similar solvents applied with no abrasive
wool to clean lens, plastic parts and envelope. Do not
use inorganic solvers which can damage plastic parts

Cualquier manipulación del aparato por personal no
autorizado por J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u. anula automá-
ticamente los benefícios de la garantía.
GUARANTEE
This product is guaranteed for one year. The guarantee
does not cover damages caused by an incorrect use
or causes beyond the control of J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
Any manipulation of the equipment by unathorized
personnel by J.P. SELECTA,s.a.u. cancels the
guarantee automatically.
