1. Información General
• Manipular el paquete con cuidado. Desembalarlo y comprobar que el contenido
coincide con lo indicado en el apartado de la “Lista de embalaje”. Si se observa
algún componente dañado o la ausencia de alguno, avisar rápidamente al distri-
buidor.
• No instalar ni utilizar el equipo sin leer, previamente, este manual de instrucciones.
Estas instrucciones forman parte inseparable del equipo y deben estar disponibles
a todos sus usuarios.
• Consultar cualquier duda al servicio técnico de J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
• No utilizar el equipo en atmosferas explosivas, inamables ni corrosivas.
Aviso a los clientes:
El producto se compone de varios componentes y diversos materiales que deben
reciclarse o, en su defecto, depositarse en los sitios correspondientes de elimina-
ción de escombros cuando la vida del producto se ha completado o cuando, de
lo contrario, es necesario desecharlo. Para ello, el usuario nal que adquiere el
producto debe conocer la normativa vigente de cada municipio y / o localidad en
función de los residuos eléctricos y electrónicos. El usuario que adquiere este pro-
ducto debe conocer y ser responsable de los posibles efectos de los componentes
sobre el medio ambiente y la salud humana como resultado de la presencia de
sustancias peligrosas. Nunca coloque el producto en un contenedor convencional
de alcance ciudadano si es un desmantelamiento previo y conocimiento de los
componentes que incorpora. Si no conoce el procedimiento a seguir, consulte con
el ayuntamiento de la ciudad para obtener más información.

4. Descripción del Equipo
El descongelador por aire seco HPC PL-3 permite la descongelación de bolsas de
hasta 400ml a través de una corriente de aire caliente y una suave agitación. Las
bolsas se colocan en unas bandejas perforadas dentro de una cubeta extraible para
facilitar la limpieza en caso de fugas de las bolsas.
5. Instalación
Una vez desembalado el equipo, compruebe visualmente que está en buen estado.
Conserve el embalaje durante unos días.
5.1 Emplazamiento
Situar el equipo en una supercie plana, nivelada, estable y adecuada al peso del
equipo.
Para trabajar con comodidad, dejar un espacio libre de 50cm en cada lado del equipo
y un mínimo de 20cm en la parte de atrás.
5.2 Conexión a la red eléctrica
Escoger una toma de corriente cercana al equipo y adecuada a la potencia del equipo.
Utilizar el cable de conexión suministrado u otro de similares características.
Para su seguridad, la toma de corriente debe tener conexión a tierra.
Antes de enchufar, vericar que la tensión y la frecuencia de la red eléctrica corres-
ponde a la indicada en la etiqueta de características del equipo.
Si cambia la clavija de enchufe, tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:
Cable azul: Neutro.
Cable marrón: Fase.
Cable Amarillo/Verde: Tierra.

Nota: el diseño del equipo está basado en situar las bolsas dentro de una corrien-
te de aire caliente. NO utilice nunca el baño sin las bandejas, ya que el aire no
circulará y el funcionamiento no será el adecuado.

6.2 Puesta en marcha
Antes de poner en marcha, asegúrese de que:
- Se han observado las instrucciones mencionadas en el apartado 5 «Instalación».
- Accione el interruptor general (5) ubicado en la parte posterior del equipo.
- Todas las acciones se realizan mediante la pantalla de control (2).
- Al poner en marcha el equipo aparecerá la pantalla de trabajo. Esta pantalla indica
que la puerta está abierta y no podrá empezar el ciclo hasta que se cierre. Al abrir la
puerta el ventilador, la calefacción y la agitación se detendrán.
También aparece un icono para poder descargar los datos registrados del proceso
anterior.
6.3 Uso del equipo
Una vez puesta en marcha la pantalla principal, se enciende y aparece el botón de
START.
El equipo tiene dos modos de funcionamiento:
- El funcionamento estándar para la mayoría de aplicaciones “1-3 BAGS”
- El funcionamiento extra para colocar hasta 6 bolsas “4-6 BAGS” (Este proceso sólo
es recomendable para casos excepcionales de mucha carga y lo que realiza son dos
secuencias de calentamiento. Al nalizar la primera fase será necesario extraer las
bolsas de la bandeja superior y seguir con el proceso con la bandeja inferior).
- Una vez iniciado el proceso no es posible detenerlo para evitar que de forma fortuita
se pare. Solo es posible detenerlo si se apaga el equipo con el interruptor general (5).
- Mientras las bolsas presenten síntomas de congelación aparece el símbolo de hielo
y no se mostrará la lectura de temperatura. Sólo se mostrará la lectura a partir de
los 25ºC.
- Al nalizar el proceso indicará FIN de PROCESO.
Nota 1:
Si la puerta se abre durante el proceso, aparecerá el símbolo de puerta abierta
parpadeando en la esquina superior derecha, hasta que nalice el proceso. Queda
constancia que la puerta ha sido abierta por algún usuario.
Nota 2:
Una vez iniciado el proceso, no es posible añadir más bolsas. La temperatura interior
del equipo no sería uniforme y las bolsas no se descongelarían correctamente.

7. Registro de Temperatura
El equipo registra el último proceso realizado, estos datos es posible descargarlos a
una memoria USB para su posterior tratamiento o almacenamiento.
El chero generado es de tipo .CSV o .TXT y es posible abrirlo con la mayoría de hojas
de cálculo o procesadores de texto.
Para poder descargar los datos debe pulsar el botón de descarga en la pantalla prin-
cipal, pero si el proceso está en marcha no será posible descargar estos datos. Sólo
aparecerá el botón si el proceso está detenido.
Inserte la memoria USB en el conector (3) y siga las instrucciones que aparecerán
en la pantalla.
10. Mantenimiento
Antes de quitar la tapa del equipo, desconectarlo de la red eléctrica. La placa de control
sólo debe ser manipulada por personal de mantenimiento debidamente autorizado.
Limpieza:
• Cubeta interior: Limpiar con abrillantador para acero inoxidable.
• Envolvente exterior: limpiar con un paño húmedo o con algún detergente suave.
• Pantalla táctil: utilizar un paño y un líquido limpia-gafas.
Anualmente:
• Contrastar la temperatura contra equipos trazables a patrones reconocidos.
• Comprobar visualmente el estado de las conexiones eléctricas, toma de tierra y
cable de conexión a la red eléctrica.

8. Ajustes
Pulse la tecla de Ajustes. Aparecerá la pantalla para ajustar el Offset de temperatura
y también la fecha y hora.
Pulse sobre el parámetro que desea modicar y utilice las teclas + y - para modicar
los valores.
Al salir de esta pantalla se almacenarán los cambios.
9. Garantía
Este producto tiene una garantía de un año. La garantía no cubre los daños causados
por un uso indebido o por causas ajenas a J. P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
Cualquier manipulación del equipo por personal no autorizado anula los benecios
de la garantía.

4. Equipment Description
HPC PL-3 dry air defroster allows defrosting of up to 400ml bags through a stream of
hot air and a gentle agitation. Bags are placed in perforated trays inside a removable
tray to facilitate cleaning in case of bag leaks.
5. Installation
Unpack the equipment and visually check that the contents are in good conditions.
Keep the package for some days.
5.1 Location
Place the equipment on a at level stable surface, suitable for the equipment weight.
To work in a comfortable way, please leave a free space of 50cm around the equipment
and a minimum of 20cm at the rear part.
5.2 Connections to the mains
Plug the equipment to a near socket suitable for the equipment power. Use the con-
nection cable supplied or a similar one.
For your safety, the equipment must be earthed.
Before plugging the equipment, check that the voltage supply and the frequency
corresponds to the one indicated in the equipment characteristics plate.
If you change the plug, bear in mind the following:
Blue cable: Neutral.
Brown cable: Phase.
Yellow/Green cable: Earth.

NEVER use the bath without the trays, as the air will not circulate and the opera-
tion will not be adequate.

6.2 Starting up
Before starting up, please be sure that:
- You have read the instructions referred to in paragraph 5 «Installation».
- Activate the main switch (5) located at the rear part of the equipment.
- All actions are carried out through the control screen (2).
- When starting the equipment up, the work screen will appear. This screen indicates
that the door is open and you will not be able to start the cycle until it is closed. When
you open the door, the fan will stop heating and stirring.
An icon also appears to be able to download the recorded data from the previous
process.
6.3 Equipment usage
Once the main screen starts up, it turns on and the button for START appears on screen.
The equipment has two operating modes:
- The standard functionality for most “1-3 BAGS” applications
- The extra operation to place up to 6 bags “4-6 BAGS” (This process is only recom-
mended for exceptional cases of high load and what it does is two heating sequences.
At the end of the rst phase it will be necessary to remove the bags from the top tray
and continue the process with the bottom tray).
- Once the process has started, it cannot be stopped to prevent it from accidentally
stopping. It can only be stopped if the equipment is turned off with the main switch (5).
-While the bags show freezing signs, the ice symbol appears and the temperature
reading will not be displayed. The reading will only be shown after 25ºC.
- At the end of the process it will indicate END OF PROCESS.
Note 1:
If the door is opened during the process, the door open symbol will appear ashing
in the upper right corner, until the process is complete. There will be evidence that
the door has been opened by a user.
Note 2:
Once the process has started, it is not possible to add more bags. Temperature inside
the equipment would not be uniform and bags would not defrost properly.

7. Temperatura Register
The equipment records the last process carried out. These data can be downloaded to
a USB memory for further treatment or storage.
The generated le is type .CSV or .TXT and it is possible to open it with most spread-
sheets or word processors.
In order to download the data, you must press the download button on the main
screen, but if the process is running, it will not be possible to download this data.
The button will only appear if the process is stopped.
Insert the USB memory into the connector (3) and follow the instructions on the screen.
10. Maintenance
Before removing the cover of the equipment, disconnect it from the mains. The control
board should only be handled by duly authorized maintenance personnel.
Cleaning:
• Inner tank: clean with a stainless steel rinse aid.
• Outer case: clean with a damp cloth or with a mild detergent.
• Touch screen: use a cloth and a glasses-cleaning liquid.
Annually:
• Contrast temperature against equipment traceable to recognized standards.
• Visually check the condition of the electrical connections, grounding and connection
cable to the electrical network.

8. Settings
Press the Settings button. The screen to adjust the temperature offset will appear,
as well as date and time.
Click on the parameter you want to modify and use the + and - keys to modify the
values.
Changes will be saved when exiting this screen.
9. Warranty
This product has a warranty of one year. The warranty does not cover damages caused
by an inappropriate use or causes beyond J. P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
Any manipulation of the equipment by not authorized personnel cancels the warranty
benets.
