DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EQUIPO
Los baños PRECISBIG permiten regular la tempera-
tura del líquido desde ambiente +5ºC hasta 100ºC o
200ºC según modelo. Para utilizar los baños, llenar
de líquido la cubeta hasta el nivel adecuado, llegando
éste como mínimo a cubrir el elemento calefactor.
Adecuar el líquido o mezcla según sea el tipo de baño
y rango de temperatura de trabajo.
EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
PRECISBIG baths with adjustable temperature from
ambient +5ºC up to 100ºC or up to 200ºC , depending
on the model. To use the baths, ll the tank with liquid
until the level covers at least the heater element. The
liquid or mixture to be employed must be adequated
to the model of bath and the working temperature.

INFORMACIÓN GENERAL
1) Manipular el paquete con cuidado. Desembalarlo y
comprobar que el contenido coincide con lo indica-
do en el apartado de la “Lista de embalaje”. Si se
observa algún componente dañado o la ausencia
de alguno avisar rápidamente al distribuidor.
2) No instalar ni utilizar el equipo sin leer, previamen-
te, este manual de instrucciones.
3) Estas instrucciones forman parte inseparable
del equipo y deben estar disponibles a todos los
usuarios del equipo.
5) ¡ATENCIÓN! NO SE ADMITIRÁ NINGUNA MÁ-
QUINA PARA REPARAR QUE NO ESTÉ DEBI-
DAMENTE LIMPIA Y DESINFECTADA.
6) Toda modicación, eliminación o falta de mante-
nimiento de cualquier dispositivo de la máquina,
transgrede la directiva de utilización 89/655/CEE y
el fabricante no se hace responsable de los daños
que pudieran derivarse.
7) No utilizar el equipo con uidos que puedan des-
prender vapores o formar mezclas explosivas o
inamables.
GENERAL INFORMATION
1) Handle the parcel with care. Unpack and check
that the contents coincide with the packing-list. If
any part is damaged or missing, please advise
the distributor immediately.
2) Do not install or use the equipment without reading
this handbook before.
3) This handbook must always be attached to the
equipment and it must be available for all users.
5) IMPORTANT! J.P. SELECTA WILL NOT AC-
CEPT ANY EQUIPMENT TO BE REPAIRED IF
IT IS NOT DULY CLEANED.
6) If any modication, elimination or lacking in main-
tenance of any device of the equipment by the
user transgress the directive 89/655/CEE, the
manufacturer is not responsible for the damage
that can occur.

give off vapours capable of making explosive
mixtures.

INSTALACIÓN
Instalar el baño sobre una supercie plana, horizontal
y nivelada. Prever el peso del líquido para escoger el
soporte. Prever el desagüe de los baños.

Asegúrese que el equipo se conecta a una tensión
de red que coincide con la indicada en la placa de
características.
No utilice el equipo sin estar conectada la toma
de tierra.
Be sure that the voltage supply is the same as
the one indicated on the characteristic plate of
the equipment.
Do not use the equipment if it is NOT earthed.
INSTALLATION
Place the bath on a at, horizontal and level surface.
Bear in mind the weight of the liquid when choosing
the support. Provide for bath drainage.

Los baños llevan incorporado un grifo de desagüe
para facilitar su vaciado.
A título orientativo, detallamos algunos de estos líqui-
dos (para usar los líquidos, seguir las instrucciones
del fabricante).
The baths incorporate a drain tap for an easy pouring.
As a guidance, here are some liquids (to use these
liquids, follow the manufacturer’s instructions):

Se recomienda el uso de agua descalcicada. NO USAR AGUA DESIONIZADA O DESMINE-
RALIZADA ya que tiene un gran poder de oxidación. Para prolongar la vida del baño y evitar
la oxidación de las piezas, disolver 1gr. de CO3Na2 (Carbonato de Sodio) por litro de agua.
It is recommended the use of decalcied water. DO NOT USE DEIONIZED OR DEMINERA-
LIZED WATER as it has great oxidation power. To prolong the life of the bath and avoid the
oxidation of the parts, dissolve 1 gr of CO3Na2 (Sodium Carbonate) per litre of water used
in the bath.

MODO DE FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL BAÑO
El baño puede funcionar de 4 modos:
1. MODO NORMAL:
Al accionar el interruptor general (1), situado en la parte
inferior del frontal, se ilumina el display (4).
Accionando el pulsador (7) y el (9) u (10) prejamos
la temperatura deseada.
Durante esta operación se ilumina el indicador (2).
Accionando el pulsador (11) se pondrá en marcha la
estufa y se iluminará el indicador (5).
Para parar accionar de nuevo el pulsador (11) y se
apagará el indicador (5).
WORKING MODE OF THE BATH
The bath can work in 4 ways:
1. NORMAL MODE:
When pressing the main switch (1), placed in the lower
part of the frontal, the display lights up (4).
Pressing the push-button (7) and the (9) or (10) we
preset the desired temperature.
During this operation the indicator (2) lights up.
Pressing the push-button (11) the bath will start and
the indicator (5) will light up.
To stop, press the push-button again (11) and the
indicator will be turned off (5).

- Consigna tiempo de marcha: periodo de funcio-
namiento entre 1’ y 9h 59’, o hasta 99,9h una vez
alcanzada la temperatura de consigna.
- Consigna tiempo de espera: periodo de tiempo
hasta la puesta en marcha entre 1 y 24 horas.
Fracciones decimales de hora (1’5 = 1 hora 30
minutos).
9. Pulsador para aumentar valor parámetro.
10. Pulsador para disminuir valor parámetro.
11. Pulsador paro/marcha.
12. Lámpara de señalización de activación del ter-
mostato de seguridad

depending on model).

- Set of starting up time: Working period between
1’ and 9h 59’, or up to 99.9h once the set tem-
perature has been reached.
- Set of waiting time: Period of time until the starting
up, between 1 and 24 hours. Decimal fraction of
hour (1.5 = 1hour 30 minutes).
9. Parameter increase push-button.
10. Parameter decrease push-button.
11. Start/Stop push-button.
12. Safety thermostat indicator lamp.

2. MODO TEMPORIZADO A LA DESCONEXIÓN:
Al accionar el interruptor general (1) se ilumina el
display (4).
Accionando simultáneamente el pulsador (7) y el (9) o
(10) prejamos la temperatura deseada.
Durante esta operación se ilumina el indicador (2).
Accionando simultáneamente el pulsador (8) y el (9) o
(10) prejamos el tiempo de desconexión.
Durante esta operación se ilumina el indicador (3).
El tiempo de desconexión empieza a descontar cuando
la máquina ha llegado a la temperatura de consigna.
Accionando el pulsador (11) se pondrá en marcha la
estufa y se iluminará el indicador (5).
En este modo de funcionamiento, el indicador (5) per-
manece intermitente hasta que la máquina llega a la
temperatura de consigna, una vez alcanzada ésta el
indicador (5) permanece iluminado.
Transcurrido el tiempo prejado la máquina se para
automáticamente y se apagará el indicador (5).
Se puede parar manualmente accionando de nuevo
el pulsador (11).
3. MODO TEMPORIZADO A LA PUESTA EN MAR-
CHA:
Al accionar el interruptor general (1) se ilumina el
display (4).
Accionando simultáneamente el pulsador (7) y el (9) o
(10) prejamos la temperatura deseada.
Durante esta operación se ilumina el indicador (2).
Accionando simultáneamente el pulsador (8) dos veces
y el (9) o (10) prejamos el tiempo de espera para la
puesta en marcha. Durante esta operación se iluminará
el indicador (6).
Accionando el pulsador (11) se pondrá en marcha la
estufa y se iluminarán los indicadores (5) y (6).
En este modo de funcionamiento, el indicador (6)
permanecerá encendido durante el tiempo de espera,
y transcurrido este, el indicador (6) se apagará y la
máquina se pondrá en marcha automáticamente.
Se puede parar manualmente accionando de nuevo
el pulsador (11).
4. MODO TEMPORIZADO A LA PUESTA EN MARCHA
Y A LA DESCONEXIÓN:
Al accionar el interruptor general (1) se iluminará el
display (4).
Accionando simultáneamente el pulsador (7) y el (9) o
(10) prejamos la temperatura deseada.
Durante esta operación se ilumina el indicador (2).
Accionando el pulsador (8) dos veces y el (9) o (10)
para prejar el tiempo de espera para la puesta en
marcha. Durante esta operación se iluminará el indi-
cador (6).
Accionando simultáneamente el pulsador (8) y el (9) o
(10) prejamos el tiempo de desconexión.
2. TEMPORIZED MODE AT DISCONNECTION:
When pressing the main switch (1) the display lights
up (4).
Pressing simultaneously the push-buttons (7) and (9)
or (10) we preset the desired temperature.
During this operation, the indicator (2) lights up.
Pressing simultaneously the push-buttons (8) and (9)
or (10) we preset the disconnection time.
During this operation, the indicator (3) lights up.
The disconection time begins when the bath has
arrived to the preset temperature.
Pressing the push-button (11) the bath will start and
the indicator (5) will light up.
In this operation mode, the indicator (5) remains
intermittent until the bath reaches the preset
temperature. Once reached, the indicator (5) remains
lighted up.
When the preset time has lapsed, the bath stops
automatically and the indicator (5) will turn off.
You can stop it manually by pressing the push-button
(11) again.
3. TEMPORIZED MODE AT STARTING UP:
When pressing the main switch (1) the display lights
up (4).
Pressing simultaneously the push-buttons (7) and (9)
or (10) we preset the desired temperature.
During this operation the indicator (2) lights up.
Pressing simultaneously the push-buttons (8) twice
and (9) or (10) we preset the waiting time until starting
up. During this operation the indicator (6) will light up.
Pressing the push-button (11) the bath will start and
the indicators (5) and (6) will light up.
In this operation mode, the indicator (6) remains lit
up during the waiting time, and after it, the indicator
lamp (6) turns off and the bath starts automatically.
You can stop it manually by pressing the push-button
(11) again.
4. TEMPORIZED WAY AT STARTING UP AND AT
DISCONNECTION:
When pressing the main switch (1) the display lights
up (4).
Simultaneously pressing the push-buttons (7) and (9)
or (10) we preset the desired temperature.
During this operation, the indicator (2) lights up.
Simultaneously pressing the push-buttons (8) twice
and (9) or (10) we preset the waiting time until the
starting up. During this operation the indicator lamp
(6) will light up.
Simultaneously pressing the push-buttons (8) and (9)
or (10) we preset the disconnection time.

Any manipulation of the equipment by unathorized
personnel by J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u. cancels the

AJUSTE DEL TERMOSTATO DE
SEGURIDAD
El límite inferior de temperatura de trabajo del termos-
tato de seguridad es 50ºC aprox. La temperatura de
trabajo del termostato de seguridad debe ser como
mínimo 5ºC superior a la de trabajo. El proceso de
ajuste del termostato de seguridad es largo, por este
motivo es especialmente práctico cuando se trabaja
habitualmente a la misma temperatura.
1. Con la ayuda de un destornillador girar el termos-
tato de seguridad al máximo en sentido horario,
mediante el mando (5).
2. Seleccionar la temperatura de disparo del termos-
tato de seguridad mediante el botón del regulador
de temperatura (7).
3. Poner en marcha el baño y dejar que se estabilice.
4. Una vez estabilizado el baño, girar lentamente en
sentido antihorario el mando (5) del termostato de
seguridad, hasta que se dispare y se encienda el
piloto rojo (4).
5. Esperar a que el baño se enfríe para rearmar el
termostato de seguridad mediante el pulsador (6).
6. Seleccionar la temperatura de trabajo del baño
mediante el botón del regulador de temperatura
(7).
ADJUSTMENT FOR THE SAFETY
THERMOSTAT
The low limit of working temperature for the safety
thermostat is nearly 50ºC.The desired temperature
of the safety thermostat must be at least 5ºC above
the working temperature. The adjusting process of the
safety thermostat is long. For that reason, the safety
thermostat is useful when the users work habitually
at the same temperature.
1. Turn the safety thermostat screw (5) clockwise to
maximum.
2. Select the desired temperature of the safety ther-
mostat with the temperature selector push-button
(7)
3. Turn on the bath and leave it to stabilize.
4. When the bath is stabilized, slowly turn the safety
thermostat screw (5) unticlockwise until it clicks
and the red indicator lamp (4) lights up.
5. Wait until the bath cools to reset the safety ther-
mostat with (6) button.
6. Select the working temperature of the bath with
temperature selector push-button (7).
Durante esta operación se ilumina el indicador (3).
El tiempo de desconexión empieza a descontar cuando
la máquina ha llegado a la temperatura de consigna.
Accionando el pulsador (11) se pondrá en marcha la
estufa y se iluminará el indicador (5).
En este modo de funcionamiento, el indicador (5) per-
manece intermitente hasta que la máquina llega a la
temperatura de consigna. Una vez alcanzada ésta el
indicador (5) permanece iluminado.
Transcurrido el tiempo prejado la máquina se para
automáticamente y se apagará el indicador (5).
Se puede parar manualmente accionando de nuevo
el pulsador (11).
Accionando el pulsador (11) se pondrá en marcha la
estufa y se iluminaran los indicadores (5) y (6).
En este modo de funcionamiento, el indicador (6)
permanece encendido durante el tiempo de espera.
Transcurrido éste, el indicador (6) se apaga y se pone
en marcha automáticamente la máquina.

the indicator (5) will light up.
In this operation mode, the indicator lamp (5)
remains intermittent until the bath reaches the preset
temperature. Once reached, the indicator (5) remains
lighted up.
Lapsed the preset time, the bath stops automatically
and the indicator (5) will turn off.
You can stop it manually by pressing the push-button
(11) again.
Pressing the push-button (11) the bath will start and
the indicators (5) and (6) will light up.
In this operation mode, the indicator lamp (6) remains
lit up during the waiting time. Once over, the indicator
lamp (6) turns off and the bath starts automatically.
