Recommendedlubricantsforyourimplementarelistedinthemaintenancechapter.
WARRANTY
Yourimplementiswarrantedaccordingtolegalrightsinyourcountryandthecontractualagreementwiththeselling
dealer.Nowarrantyshall,however,applyiftheimplementhasnotbeenused,adjustedandmaintainedaccordingto

chemicalstocleandecals.Decalscouldberemovedorgetdamaged.
DISASSEMBLYORSCRAPPING
Whenyourimplementistakenoutofservicebecauseitisdamagedbeyondrepairorhasreachedtheendofits
usefullife,disassembly,scrappingand/orrecyclingofcomponentsmustbeperformedonlybyaqualiedtechnician
withserviceinstructions,andincompliancewithlocallawandregulations.

somemodelshavebeenadaptedfornewuses,suchasroad-basepreparationandsemi-industrialmixingoperations.
TheKONGSKILDErotavatorisdesignedtobeattachedtoatractoranddrivenbythePowerTake-Off(PTO)ofthe
tractor.
Pleasereadandunderstandthismanualbeforeoperatingtherotavator.

Thismanualgivesinformationforuseofthismachine,as
intendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanu-
facturerduringnormaloperationandroutineserviceand
maintenance.
Normaloperationmeanstheuseofthemachineforthe
purposeintendedbythemanufacturerbyanoperatorfa-
miliarwiththemachinecharacteristicsandcomplyingwith
theinformationforoperationandsafepractices,asspec-
iedbythemanufacturerinthismanualandbythesigns
onthemachine.Normaloperationincludestheprepara-
tionandstorageofthemachine,swingingcomponents
intoworkpositionandviceversa.Normaloperationin-
cludestheadjustmentandsettingofthemachine,forthe
specicconditionoftheeldand/orthecrop.
Routineserviceandmaintenancemeansactivitiesthat
mustbedonedailybyanoperatorfamiliarwiththema-
chinecharacteristicsandcomplyingwiththeinformation
forroutineserviceandsafepractices,asspeciedby
themanufacturerinthismanualandbysignsonthema-
chine,inordertomaintaintheproperfunctionofthema-
chine.Routineserviceincludesactivitiessuchasclean-
ing,washing,toppingupuidlevels,greasing,adjusting
beltsandchains,replacementofconsumablearticlesand
fastwearingparts.
Thismanualisnotgivingalltheinformationrelatedtope-
riodicalservice,machineconverting(rebuild)andrepairs
tobecarriedoutbyprofessionalservicepersonnel.For
someofthelatteractivities,theremaybeaneedforap-
propriatefacilities,technicalskillsandtoolswhicharenot
suppliedwiththemachine.Failingoneofthese3prereq-
uisites,makesthattheseactivitiesshallbedonebyyour
KONGSKILDEdealer.
Periodicalservicemeansactivitiesthatmustbedoneat
denedintervalsbytrainedpersonnelfamiliarwiththe
machinecharacteristicsandwhicharecomplyingwiththe
informationforperiodicalserviceandsafepractices,as
speciedbythemanufacturerinthismanualandinother
Companyliterature,inordertomaintaintheexpectedlife
timeofthemachine.Periodicalserviceincludesactivities
suchaschangingoilfromhydrauliccircuitsorgearboxes,

Converting(rebuild)meansactivitiesthatmustbedone
byprofessionalservicepersonnelfamiliarwiththema-

forconverting,asspeciedbythemanufacturerinthis
manual,inassemblyinstructionsorinotherCompanylit-
erature,inordertorebuildthemachinetoaconguration

plementastheycanhavesharpedges.
•Observeallrecommendationsthatarementionedin
thismanualsuchasserviceintervals,torques,lubri-
cants,etcetera.
•Geartransmissionandgearboxmaybecomehotdur-
ingoperation.Becarefulwhenyouservicesuchcom-
ponents.Allowsurfacestocoolbeforeyouhandleor

fulltodomesticanimalsaswellashumans.
2.MaterialSafetyDataSheets(MSDS)provideinforma-
tionaboutthechemicalsubstanceswithinaproduct,
safehandlingandstorageprocedures,rstaidmea-
suresandprocedurestobetakenintheeventofaspill
oraccidentalrelease.MSDSareavailablefromyour
dealer.
3.BeforeyouserviceyourmachinechecktheMSDSfor
eachlubricant,uid,etcetera.usedinthismachine.
Thisinformationindicatestheassociatedrisksandwill
helpyouservicethemachinesafely.Followtheinfor-
mationintheMSDS,onmanufacturercontainers,as
wellastheinformationinthismanualwhenyouser-
vicethemachine.
4.Disposeofalluids,ltersandcontainersinanen-
vironmentallysafemannerinaccordancewithlocal
lawsandregulations.Checkwithlocalenvironmen-
