Duringtheoperation,maintenance,orrepairofthethermalcycler,thefollowingsafety
measuresshouldbetaken.Otherwise,theguardprovidedbytheinstrumentislikelytobe
damaged,theratedsafetyleveltobereduced,andtheratedoperationconditionstobe
affected.
Thethermalcycler,complyingwiththeNationalStandardGB9706.1,isa
generalinstrumentofTypeB,ClassⅠ.Itisintendedforindooruse.
Beforeoperatingtheinstrument,readtheinformationinthismanual,ormay
causepersonalinjuryaccident.Ensurethatanyoneoperatetheinstrumenthas
receivedinstructionsinbothgeneralsafetypracticesforlaboratoriesand
specificsafetypracticesfortheinstrument.
Theoperatorisnotallowedtoopentheinstrument,otherwisewillvoidthe
warranty,maycauseelectricshock.Ifthedeviceneedsrepair,isunder
obligationtorepair.
A.C.power’sgroundingshouldbereliableforfearofanelectricshock.The
3-pinplugwiththisinstrument’spowerlineisasafetydevicethatshouldbe
matchedwithagroundedsocket.
Beforeturnonthepower,alwayscheckifthemainsvoltageisconsistent
withtheinstrumentrequired.Ensuretheratedloadofsocketisnotlowerthan
required.
IftheA.C.powerlineisdamaged,itmustbereplacedwithanewone.The

powerlineshouldbefreeofheavyobjectsduringtheinstrument’soperation.
Keepthepowerlineawayfromtheplacewherepeoplegatherregularly.
Whileconnectordisconnectthepowerline,youshouldholdthe3-pinplug
withyourhand.Inserttheplugthoroughlytoensuregoodcontactbetweenthe
plugandsocket.Pulltheplug,nottheline,whenyouneedtodisconnecttothe
mains.
Duringinstrumentoperation,themetalpartandthehotlidcanreachhigh
temperature,maycauseburnsandliquidboilover,isnotallowedtobetouched
byanypartofthebodyforfearofthebodyburn,duringthewholeoperation.

Theinstrumentshouldbeplacedinalow-humidity,dust-free,and
good-ventilationroomwithoutcausticgasorpowerfulmagneticinterference.In
addition,watersources,suchaspoolsandwaterpipes,shouldbeseparateda
distancefromtheinstrument.Donotplacethedeviceinadampanddusty
place.
Nevercoverorobstructtheopeningsoftheinstrument,whicharedesigned
forventilationandtopreventthedevice’sinteriorfrombeingtoohot.
Iftheinstrumentissetasideforalongtime,itisrecommendedtodisconnect
thepowerlinetomainsandcoverthedevicewithapieceofsoftclothorplastic
topreventdustfromentering.
Onceoneofthefollowingeventsoccurs,youaresuggestedtodisconnect
thepowerlinewithmains,andcontactthedistributororaskacertificated
maintenanceworkerforhelp:

Theconicalholesovertheblockandthehotlidshouldbecleanedtermlywithsoaked
cottonswabwithalittleabsolutealcohol.Thatensuressufficientcontactandthusgoodheat
conductionbetweeneachconicalholeandthetubeinsideit.
Incaseitissmeared,thesurfaceoftheinstrumentmaybescrubbedwithapieceofsoftcloth
withsuitabledetergent.
Duringsurfacecleaning,thepowermustbeoff.
Strictlyprohibitdroppingdetergentintotheconicalholesovertheblock.
