å NOTE: Be sure the edges of the ANGLE BRACKETS are
even with the edges of the ENDS.

How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK®FASTENER
1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the
adjoining part.
NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully
inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking
the FASTENER.
2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips screwdriver as tight
as possible.

å Fasten the SHELF (D) and BOTTOM (E) to the RIGHT

BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S).
å Fasten the LONG END MOLDINGS (H) to the ENDS (A and B) and
VALANCE (M55). Use ten BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S).
å NOTE: There are no holes in the LONG END MOLDINGS (H). Turn the
screws into the grooves of the LONG END MOLDINGS. Do not overtighten.

å Fasten the SHORT END MOLDINGS (I) to the ENDS (A and B).
Use six BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S).
å NOTE: There are no holes in the SHORT END MOLDINGS (I).
Turn the screws into the grooves of the SHORT END MOLDINGS.
Do not overtighten.

Use two BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (2S).

å Fasten the BOTTOM MOLDING (M11) to the BOTTOM (E).
Use three BLACK 1-1/8" PAN HEAD SCREWS (9S).
å Turn a FOOT SCREW (23F) a few turns into the two holes
in the BOTTOM MOLDING (M11).
å Next, turn a FOOT (T) onto each FOOT SCREW (23F).
Turn the FEET clockwise until the FEET and FOOT
SCREWS are tight against the BOTTOM MOLDING (M11).

å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold
the BACK (G) and lay it over your unit.
å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (G).
Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make
it "square".
å Fasten the BACK (G) to your unit using the NAILS (1N).
å NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up
over the SHELF (D).
å NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access
through the BACK. Carefully cut out the holes needed.

å Carefully stand your unit upright and position your unit in its final location. We recommend using the SAFETY
STRAP (60M) for added stability.
å NOTE: Do not turn the SAFETY DRYWALL ANCHOR (61M) into a wall stud. If you prefer to fasten the SAFETY
STRAP (60M) to a wall stud, go to your local hardware store for proper hardware.
å INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: (Also available at www.yl-anchors.com)
1. Insert the SAFETY DRYWALL ANCHOR (61M) through the WASHER (13M) and one end of the SAFETY STRAP (60M).
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver or a hand drill, press the screw slightly onto the drywall.
3. Apply pressure; turn the screw until a pilot hole is made and the nylon sheath slips through.
4. Turn the screw until it is flush against the wall and you feel a firm resistance.
5. Continue to turn until the screw starts spinning freely.
å Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (1S) through the SAFETY STRAP and into the pre-drilled hole in the TOP (C2).
å NOTE: Before moving your unit to a dierent location, unscrew the SAFETY DRYWALL ANCHOR (61M) from your wall.
The nylon sheath will remain behind your wall.

å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (2R) over the METAL PINS (1R). Insert the
METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B).
Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (F) onto the METAL PINS.
å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important
safety information.
å This completes assembly. Clean with your favorite furniture polish or a
damp cloth. Wipe dry.

Attention: Ne pas relever l'élément dans sa position verticale
avant d'avoir fixé l’ARRIÈRE. L'élément risque de s'eondrer.
Fixer l'EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (A) au DESSUS (C2). Serrer deux
FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®.
Fixer la TABLETTE (D) et le DESSOUS (E) à l'EXTRÉMITÉ
DROITE (A). Serrer quatre FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®.
Utilisation de la FIXATION TWIST-LOCK® SAUDER
1. Insérer l'extrémité filetée de la FIXATION dans le trou de la
pièce attenante.
REMARQUE : L'extrémité filetée de la FIXATION doit rester
complètement insérée dans le trou de la pièce attenante lorsque
l'on bloque la FIXATION.
2. Bien serrer la FIXATION à l'aide d'un tournevis Phillips.
ÉTAPE 8
Fixer le LAMBREQUIN (M55) à la MOULURE DE DESSUS (M10).
Utiliser deux VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S).
Fixer les LONGUES MOULURES D'EXTRÉMITÉ (H) aux
EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) et au LAMBREQUIN (M55). Utiliser dix VIS
TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S).
REMARQUE : Les LONGUES MOULURES D'EXTRÉMITÉ (H)
ne comportent pas de trous pré-percés. Serrer les vis dans les
rainures des LONGUES MOULURES D'EXTRÉMITÉ. Ne pas serrer
de trop.
ÉTAPE 7
Fixer quatre PLAQUES D’ATTACHE (3G) au LAMBREQUIN (M55).
Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S).
ÉTAPE 5
Fixer l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B) au DESSUS (C2), à la TABLETTE (D)
et au DESSOUS (E). Serrer six FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®.
ÉTAPE 3
Fixer quatorze CONSOLES À ÉQUERRE (27G) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A
et B). Utiliser quatorze VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S).
REMARQUE : S'assurer que les chants des CONSOLES À
ÉQUERRE sont à fleur des chants des EXTRÉMITÉS.
ÉTAPE 2
Faire tourner trois VIS D'EXCENTRIQUE (14F) dans la MOULURE
DE TABLETTE (M36).
REMARQUE : S’assurer de utiliser les trous exacts indiqués.
Enfoncer trois EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES (1F) dans
la TABLETTE (D).
ÉTAPE 1
Ne pas serrer les FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK® à cette étape.
Assembler l'élément sur un sol à moquette ou sur le carton vide
pour éviter d'endommager l'élément ou le sol.
Pour commencer l'assemblage, enfoncer une FIXATION TWIST-LOCK®
SAUDER (11F) dans les gros trous des EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B).
Répéter cette étape pour la TABLETTE (D) et le DESSOUS (E).
ÉTAPE 6
Fixer la MOULURE DE DESSUS (M10) au DESSUS (C2). Utiliser
trois VIS TÊTE GOUTTE DE SUIF 48 mm NOIRES (16S).
REMARQUE : Ne pas trop serrer les VIS dans le DESSUS.
Fixer la MOULURE DE TABLETTE (M36) à la TABLETTE (D).
Serrer trois EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.
