DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EQUIPO
LosbañosPRECISTERMpermitenregularlatempera-
turadellíquidodesdeambiente+5ºChasta110ºC(Es-
tabilidad ±1ºC) ó hasta 200ºC (Estabilidad ±2ºC), se-
gúnmodelo.Parautilizarlosbaños, llenar delíquidola
cubeta hasta el nivel adecuado, llegando éste como
mínimo a cubrir el elemento calefactor. Adecuar el lí-
quido o mezcla según sea el tipo de baño y rango de
temperaturadetrabajo. A título orientativo detallamos
algunosdeestoslíquidos:(Paralautilizacióndeestos
líquidos,seguir lasinstruccionesdel fabricante).
EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
PRECISTERM baths with adjustable liquid
temperaturefrom ambient +5ºCup to 110ºC (Stability
of±1ºC) or upto 200ºC(Stability of ±2ºC),depending
on themodel. To use the baths fill the tank with liquid
untilthe level coversat least the heaterelement. The
liquidor mixturetobeemployedmust beadequatedto
the model of bath and the working temperature. As a
guidance, herearesomeliquids(tousetheseliquids,
follow the manufacturer’s instructions):
INSTALACIÓN
Instalar el bañosobre unasuperfície plana, horizontal
y nivelada.Prever el pesodel líquido paraescoger el
soporte. Prever el desagüe de losbaños.
Asegúrese que el equipo se conecta a una ten-
sión de red que coincide con la indicada en la
placa de características.
No utilice el equipo sin estar conectada la toma
de tierra.
Si cambia la clavija de enchufe tenga en cuenta
lo siguiente: Cable azul: Neutro.
Cable marrón: Fase.
Cable amarillo/verde: Tierra.
INSTALLATION
Place thebath on a flat, horizontal andlevel surface.
Bear in mind the weight of the liquid when choosing
the support. Provide for bath drainage (bath6000142
and6000389).
Be sure that the voltage supply isthe same asthe
one indicated on thecharacteristicsplate.
Do not use the apparatusif it isnot earthed.
If you change the plug bear in mind the following:
Bluecable:Neutral.
Brown cable: Phase.
Yellow/green cable:Earth.

Se recomienda el uso de agua descalcificada. NO USAR AGUA DESIONIZADA O
DESMINERALIZADA ya que tiene un gran poder de oxidación. Para prolongar la vida del
baño y evitar la oxidación de las piezas, disolver 1gr. de CO3Na2(Carbonato de Sodio) por
litro de agua.

WATER asit hasa great tendancy to rust. To prolong the life of thebath and avoid rusting of

PUESTAENMARCHA
1. Llenar el bañodelíquido. Dejarunmínimode 3cm.
sinllenarparaevitarsalpicaduras.
2. Conectarel baño ala redeléctrica.
3. Accionar el interruptor de puesta en marcha (1), al
mismotiemposeiluminaráel pilotodeseñalización
dereddelinterruptor(verde).
4. Girar el mando del regulador detemperatura (2) de
menos a más, segúnla temperatura que se desee
trabajar. Al mismo tiempo se iluminará el piloto de
funcionamientodelcalefactor(amarillo)(3).
5. Transcurridountiempo,elpilotodefuncionamiento
del calefactor (3) empezará a funcionar de modo
intermitente.Cuandoelciclodedichasintermitencias
seauniforme,indicaráquelatemperaturadellíquido
seha estabilizado.
STARTING UPOPERATION :
1. Fill the bath with liquid. Leave at least 3 cm with-
out filling to avoid splashes.
2. Connect the bath to the mains.
3. Turn on the main switch (1). The Green indicator
lampwill light up.
4. Turnonthetemperaturecontrolthermostat(2)from
lowtohighaccordingtotheworkingtemperature.
The heater operation indicator lamp (amber) will
light up (3).
5. After acertain time,theheater operation indicator
lamp(3) will begin tooperate intermittently. When
the cycle of these intermittences becomes uni-
form, that willindicate that temperatureof liquidis
stabilized.

cada por un termómetro lector.
7. Vigilarlaevaporacióndellíquidodelbaño,eirrepo-
niéndolo a fin de no dejar nunca al descubierto el
calefactor.
AJUSTEDELTERMOSTATODESEGURIDAD:
Ellímiteinferiordetemperaturadetrabajodeltermos-
tato de seguridad 50ºC aprox. La temperatura de tra-
bajodel termostatodeseguridaddebesercomomíni-
mo 5ºC superior a la de trabajo. El proceso de ajuste
del termostato deseguridad es largo, por este motivo
esespecialmenteprácticocuandosetrabajahabitual-
mentealamismatemperatura.
1. Conlaayudadeundestornilladorgirareltermosta-
to deseguridadal máximo ensentido horario, me-
dianteel mando(5).
2. Seleccionarmedianteelbotóndelreguladordetem-
peratura(2)latemperaturadedisparodeltermosta-
to deseguridad.
3. Poner en marcha el baño ydejarque seestabilice.
4. Una vez estabilizado el baño, girar lentamente en
sentido antihorario el mando(5) del termostato de
seguridad, hasta que se dispare y se encienda el
pilotorojo(4).
5. Esperaraqueelbañoseenfríepararearmarelter-
mostatode seguridad mediante elpulsador (6).
6. Seleccionarlatemperaturadetrabajodelbañome-
dianteel botóndel reguladordetemperatura(2).
6. The thermostat scale graduation is only useful as
a reference, because the real temperature is the
one shown by a thermometer introduced into the
liquid.
7. Becarefulwithliquidevaporation.Theheater ele-
ment must ALWAYS be covered with liquid.
Replenishwhennecessary.
ADJUSTMENTFORTHE SAFETYTHERMOSTAT:
The low limit of working temperature for the safety
thermostatisnearly 50ºC.Thedesired temperatureof
the safety thermostat must be at least 5ºC above the
working temperature. The adjusting process of the
safety thermostat is long. For that reason, the safety
thermostat is useful when the userswork habituallyat
the sametemperature.
1. Turn the safety thermostat screw (5) clockwise to
maximum.
2. Select with the temperature control knob (2) the
desiredtemperature ofthe safety thermostat.
3. Turn on the bath and leave it to stabilize.
4. When the bath is stabilized, slowlyturnthe safety
thermostat screw (5) unticlockwise until it clicks
and the redindicator lamp (4) lights up.
5. Wait until the bath cools to reset the safety ther-
mostat with (6) button.
6. Select the working temperature of the bath with
temperaturecontrol knob(2).

MANTENIMIENTO
Antes de quitar la tapa del aparato
desconectarlo de la red eléctrica.
Los elementos de regulación y cale-
facción sólo deben ser manipulados
por personal de mantenimiento debi-
damente autorizado.
El agua destilada o desmineralizada
tiene un gran poderde oxidación. Para
prolongar la vida del baño y evitar la
oxidación de las piezas disolver un
gramo deCO3Na2(Carbonatodesodio)
por litro de agua utilizada en el baño.
LIMPIEZA:
Siseutilizaaguanormaldelared,seproducirándepo-
sicionescalcáreasquesedepositaránenlacubetayel
elementocalefactor.Debeevitarsequeelcalefactorfun-
cionecubiertodecalyaquepierdepodercaloríficoyse
destruyemásrápidamente.Esaconsejablequeperió-
dicamente se limpie la cubeta interior y el calefactor
conunasoluciónal10%desalfumán(ácidoclorhídrico
al 28%) o con una solución de agua y vinagre (ácido
acético). Despuésaclarar conagua limpia.
Parala limpiezadelasdiferentespiezasdelosapara-
tos, recomendamoslossiguientesproductos:
Limpiezadelaceroinoxidable:Alcohol.
Limpiezadecarátulasyplásticos:Alcoholconalgodón
oconunpañonoabrasivo.
MAINTENANCE
Beforeremovingthecoverdisconnectthe
apparatusfromthemains.
The control elements and heating
elements must only be manipulated by
authorizedpersonnel.
The distilled or demineralized water has
a great tendancy to rust. To prolong the
life of the bath and avoid rusting of the
parts,dissolve1grofCO3Na2(Carbonate
of Soda) per litre of water used in the
bath.
CLEANING:
If normal tapwater is used calcareous deposits will
appearinthebathandintheheatingelement.Aheater
covered with lime should not be used as it can lose
heatingpoweranddeterioratemorequickly.Periodical
cleaning of the inside of the tank and the heating
element with a solution of 10% of 28% Chlorhydric
acid or asolution of water and vinegar (Acetic acid) is
advised.Rinsewithcleanwater afterwards.
Forthecleaningof thedifferent parts usethefollowing
products:
Cleaningof stainless steel: alcohol
Cleaning of plastic: Alcohol with cotton duster.
