Maintenance of your Camera
and Microphone Unit
ˎWipe the Camera and Microphone Unit gently with
a soft cloth.
ˎStubborn stains may be removed with a cloth
slightly moistened with a solution of mild soap and
warm water.
ˎIf using a chemically pretreated cloth, be sure to
follow the instructions provided on the package.
ˎNever use strong solvents such as a thinner,
alcohol or benzine for cleaning.

カメラのお手入れ方法
カメラはやわらかい布で優しく拭いてく
ださい。
汚れがひどいときは中性洗剤と温かいお
湯を少々つけて湿らした布で拭き取って
ください。
化学ぞうきんを使うときは、パッケージ
に記載されている指示に従ってくださ
い。
シンナーやアルコールやベンジンのよう
な化学薬品は使わないでください。






Skypeをはじめる
Skypeを起動する
ホーム画面> ［アプリケーション］
>
［すべてのアプリ］を選択して、Skype を
起動してください。初めて起動するときは、使用条件への同意、ご利用の地
域の入力が必要です。画面の表示にしたがって、必要事項を入力してくださ
い。
ご注意
本機をテレビにつないでも使えないときは、テレビのソフトウエアを最新版に更新し
てください。更新の手順はお使いのテレビの電子取説をご確認ください。
Skypeのアカウントを作成する
はじめてSkype を使用するときや新しいアカウントを取得するときに行いま
す。
画面の表示にしたがって、ご希望の［Skype Name］、［Password］、お持ち
のE-mail アドレスを入力し、アカウントを取得してください。
アカウントの取得が成功すると、自動的にサインインして操作画面に移りま
す。
ご注意
［Skype Name］、［Password］は次回のサインインにも使用します。忘れないように
してください。
Skypeにサインインする
画面の表示にしたがって、お持ちの［Skype Name］、［Password］を入力し、
サインインしてください。テレビの電源を入れたときに、自動的にSkypeに
サインインするように設定できます。
Skypeで通話を楽しむ
コンタクトリストに追加する
ご希望の通話相手をコンタクトリストに登録できます。［Tools］
>
［Find
Contacts］で画面の表示にしたがって通話先を登録してください。
こちらから発信して通話する
［Contacts］または［History］から通話相手を選択して発信します。画面の表
示にしたがってお好みの方法で発信してください。
また、［Find Contacts］から通話相手を検索することもできます。
相手からの着信を受ける
Skype にサインインしているときに着信があると、画面に応答メニューが表
示されます。画面の表示にしたがってお好みの方法で着信を受けてください。
サインインしたままにしておくと、テレビやビデオを見ているときでも着
信を受けられます。（インターネットに常時接続している必要があります。）
テレビの電源が切れているときやサインアウトしているときは、着信を受
けられません。

Enjoying a call with Skype
To add to contact list
You can add both Skype and phone contacts to the contact list.
To add a Skype contact, select [Tools], then [Find Contacts]. After the setting, follow the
displayed menu.
To make a call
Select a contact from the [Contacts] or [History] tab. Follow the menu display, and make a call
as desired. You can also search a contact from the [Find Contacts].
To receive a call
If you receive a call while signed into Skype, the response menu will appear on the display.
(Continuous Internet connection required.)
Follow the menu display, and answer the call if desired.
ˋIf you stay signed into Skype, you can receive a call even while watching TV or video.
ˋIf the TV is powered off, or if you are signed out of Skype, you cannot receive a call.

Using Skype
This feature allows you to make video calls and voice calls.
Note
ˎNo emergency calls with Skype. Skype is not a replacement for your ordinary
telephone and cannot be used for emergency calling.
ˎTo use this feature, the TV has to be connected to the Internet with a broadband
connection.
ˎThe quality of the voice and video call can be impacted by your internet connection speed.
The use of a wireless connection can cause image and sound degradation.
ˎSkype operation may not be available while some other applications are being used.
ˎIt is free to register and sign in to Skype and audio and video calls to other people on Skype.
For other Skype services such as low cost calls to mobile phones and landlines Skype Credit
or a subscription is required.

ˎIn the event of a problem, refer to the TV’s instruction manual.
ˎIf you experience problems signing in to Skype on your TV using your existing Skype account,

Starting Skype
To activate Skype
Home Menu > [Applications] > [All Applications] > [Skype], you can start Skype. When starting
Skype for the first time, you will be required to agree to a license agreement and enter region
setting according to the displayed menu.
Note
ˎIf this product cannot be used after connecting to your TV, update your TV software to the
latest version. To update the software, refer to the electronic manual (i-Manual) on your TV.
To create your Skype account
You can either use your existing Skype account or create a new account, as desired.
To create the account, follow the displayed menu, enter your desired [Skype Name], [Password]
and your Email address.
After creating the account, sign in will be automatically continued, and the operation menu
will be displayed.

ˎBe sure to remember your [Skype Name] and [Password] to sign in.
To sign in Skype
To sign in, enter your [Skype Name] and [Password], following the displayed menu.
You can set to sign into Skype automatically when the TV is turned on.
Setting up the Camera and Microphone Unit

ˎDo not cover the ventilation holes of the rear of the
TV with this product.
