Pull each leg strap under the thigh
so that it emerges on the inside of
the thigh.

Place the sling around the
patient. If the sling has a head
support, extend it to the top of
the patient’s head.
Place the attachment loop
on the hook.
Make sure that the safety
latch is closed.

Place the spreader bars at 45° and close enough to
attach the shoulder loops, then the leg loops.
Raise the foot end of the spreader bar first using the
Recline button to create tension in the leg loops.
Make sure that the sling is properly installed
and encircles the patient's buttocks to
provide better support.

Raise the patient.
Move the patient.

the loops. Detach the leg loops,
then the shoulder loops.

Maxi Sky 2 PLUS
Transfer from seated to supine position

Roll the patient onto their side. Fold the sling
in half and place it on the bed along the back
of the patient.

Roll the patient back onto the sling and then roll the
patient in the opposite direction, so that the folded
part of the sling can be straightened out.

Raise the patient.

Move the patient.
Place the attachment loop on
the hook.
Make sure that the safety latch
is closed.

Place the spreader bar in a flat position and close
enough to attach the loops.
Connect the sling’s shoulder and leg loops to the
spreader bar.

Lower until there is no tension
in the loops. Detach the leg
loops, then the shoulder loops.

Transfer from supine to seated position
Attach as many sling loops
as possible to the spreader
bar.

Place the sling under the
patient and position the lift
over the patient.

Raise until the hips are
supported and move up
or to the side.
Lower the patient onto the
bed and detach all of the
sling loops.

Place the attachment
loop on the hook.
Make sure that the
safety latch is closed.

Attach as many sling loops as possible from
one side of the sling to the spreader bar.
Raise until the patient is rolled into the
desired position.
Lower until there is no tension in
the loops and disconnect all of
them.

and position the lift over the patient.
Place the spreader bars at 45° to
attach the loops.

Move the patient toward the new
surface. Position the patient centrally
over the new surface.

Lower the patient onto the bed.
Lower the spreader bar farther down to detach the loops.
Raise the spreader bar and move the ceiling lift away from the patient.
Place the attachment loop
on the hook.
Make sure that the safety
latch is closed.

Attach the loops to the spreader bar.
Raise the patient until the patient is fully
supported.
Position the lift close enough
to attach the loops.
