What You Need
Identify the face where the slats of the wooden
crate are fixed by the screws. Untighten the
screws using a screwdriver to remove the slats on
top of the frame.
Step 1
To prevent the components from damage during transport, an extra
wooden crate has been applied to each carton. Follow Step 1 and
Step 2 below to unbox the product.

Step 2 Lift the carton out of the wooden crate and place
it on a level surface.
Repeat this for the other crate.
Unbox the components to get ready for assembly.

Attach the felt pads D to the bottom of the
stands ① ②.

Line up both stands ① ②. Make sure that the
bolt holes are facing each other as shown in the
diagram below.

The edge of each shelf ③ is beveled. Make sure
you recognise the narrow face of each shelf and
place the narrow face on top.

With friends holding the stands, rest a shelf upon
the rails of the stands. Make sure the columns of
the stands run through the slots of the shelf.

Slant another shelf and run it through the
structure formed in Step 6. Flip it horizontal once
the slots match the columns. Now you can rest it
upon the rails.

Repeat Step 7 for the rest of the shelves.

Note: It is important to install the inner brace first.
Pay attention to distinguishing the inner brace
from the outer brace in this step.
Inner brace ④ has a smaller threaded hole in the
centre while the outer brace ⑤ has a bigger
unthreaded hole.

Align the inner brace ④ with diagonal bolt holes
on the columns. Insert the long bolts Ainto the
holes and screw them with your hand. Leave the
bolts loosely attached.

Align the outer brace ⑤with the other diagonal
bolt holes. Insert the long bolts Ainto the holes
and screw them with your hand. Leave the bolts
loosely attached.

Insert the short bolt Binto the centre hole of the
outer brace and make it grab the threads of the
inner brace.

Once the braces are fixed in place, tighten all
bolts with the Allen key E.

Lay the formed structure on a protected surface.
Insert the screws C into the holes on the bottom
and drive them into the bottom of the shelves
with a drill or screwdriver. This might need a fair
amount of strength as there are NO pre-drilled
holes on the solid wood shelves to receive the
screws.

Flip the completed piece of furniture and place it
upright in its desired location. Enjoy your new
Dominic Narrow Bookcase!

It is not mandatory but strongly recommended to install anti-tip kit for
safety.

you are sure your
wall is sound.

Special toggle wall
plugs are needed.
Seek expert
advice.
Wall fixings are NOT included since different wall materials require
different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the
walls in your home. For advice on suitable fixing systems, contact your
local hardware store.

Fit the brackets aa over the back columns of the stands. Fix the
brackets with appropriate wall fixings.
