Why using the AURA interface is easy!
The interface for the Z9/Z11 touch screen terminals has been updated with new
software, designed to enhance and improve the user experience. We call it AURA.
Although the AURA interface looks dierent from the Legacy interface, the dierences in
support and functionality are minimal, with virtually no changes.
The following actions remain the same:
• building a TPN in STEAM
• accessing data in DeNovo
• downloading a terminal
• terminal menus
• same host platform certications
• access the Favorites menu by tapping STAR icon
• access Call Me by tapping CALL icon
The following actions are dierent:
• smart device-type look with a sleeker, more modern layout
• icon-led transaction ow
• access the Core menu by tapping on the MENU icon
• in STEAM, an AURA software model can be identied by having ‘AURA’ in the name eg.

Press the green OK key to access the CORE menu and then
tap the screen to select the item you desire.
Press the yellow STAR to access the FAVORITES menu and
then tap the screen to select the item you desire.
