1 BenutzerhinweiseDeutsch
Der CPX−FEC ist ausschließlich für die Steuerung von pneu
matischen und elektrischen Aktuatoren, die Abfrage von
Sensorsignalen durch Eingangsmodule und für die Kom
munikation über Ethernet bestimmt.
Hierbei sind die angegebenen Grenzwerte der technischen
Daten einzuhalten.Ausführliche Informationen finden Sie
imHandbuch zumCPX−FEC (P.BE−CPX−FEC−..) sowie in der
CPX−Systembeschreibung(P.BE−CPX−SYS−..).
Warnung
SSchalten Sie die Spannung aus, bevor Sie Steckver
binder zusammenstecken oder trennen (Funktions
schädigung).
SVerwenden Sie nur Netzteile, die eine sichere elektri
sche Trennung der Betriebsspannung nach IEC 742/
EN 60742/VDE 0551 mit mindestens 4 kV Isolations
festigkeit gewährleisten (PELV). Schaltnetzteile sind
zulässig, wenn sie die sichere Trennung imSinne der
EN 60950/VDE 0805gewährleisten.
SSchließen Sie einen Erdleiter mit ausreichendem
Leitungsquerschnitt an den mit demErdungssymbol
gekennzeichneten Anschluss des CPX−Terminals an.
SDer CPX−FEC enthält elektrostatisch gefährdete Bau
elemente.Berühren Sie deshalb keine Bauelemente.
Beachten Sie die Handhabungsvorschriften für elek
trostatisch gefährdete Bauelemente.
Hinweis
Nehmen Sie nur ein komplett montiertes und verdrah−
tetes CPX−Terminal in Betrieb.

3 Installationshinweise
3.1 Montage
Der CPX−FEC ist in einen Verkettungsblock des CPX−Termi
nals montiert.

Demontage
SSchrauben herausdrehen und CPX−FEC vorsichtig
abheben.
Montage
1. Dichtung und Dichtflächen prüfen und CPX−FEC wieder
aufsetzen.
2. Schrauben so ansetzen, dass die vorgefurchten Gewin
degänge genutzt werden.Schrauben von Hand über
Kreuz anziehen (Torx T10). Anzugsdrehmoment
0,9...1,1Nm.

3.2 Einstellen der DIL−Schalter
Stellen Sie die Betriebsart mit demDIL−Schalter 1ein:

Lassen Sie die Schalterelemente des
DIL−Schalters 2aufOFF stehen.
3.3 Einstellen des Drehschalters
Der 16fach Drehschalter (0, 1, ..., F)dient als RUN/STOP−
Schalter für die SPS.Lassen Sie den Drehschalter während
der Installation aufPosition 0" (STOP)stehen.

0 = STOP
SPS−Programm ist gestoppt.Programme
stoppen bei Änderung des Drehschalters von
1... F auf0.
1 ... F = RUN
Anwenderprogramm gestartet.Programme

Die Schalterstellung lässt sich im
Anwenderprogramm abfragen und für
Programmierzwecke nutzen.
Änderungen der Drehschalter−Position werden mit einer Verzögerung
von 500ms an die Steuerung weitergegeben.

3.6 Spannungsversorgung des CPX−Terminals
Die Betriebs− und Lastspannungsversorgung des CPX−
Terminals wird über Verkettungsblöcke zugeführt.Diese
leiten die Betriebs− und Lastspannung an die angrenzen
den Module weiter.

The CPX−FEC has been designed exclusively for controlling
pneumatic and electric actuators, for interrogating sensor
signals by means ofinput modules and for communication
via Ethernet.
The maximumlimits in the technical specifications must
not be exceeded.Detailed information can be found in the
manual for the CPX−FEC (P.BE−CPX−FEC−..) as well as in the
CPX systemmanual (P.BE−CPX−SYS−..).
Warning
SSwitch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (this will prevent functional
damage).
SUse only power units which guarantee reliable
isolation ofthe operating voltages as per IEC 742/
EN60742/VDE 0551 with at least 4 kV isolation
resistance (Protected Extra Low Voltage PELV). Switch
power packs are permitted, providing they guarantee
reliable isolation in accordance with EN 60950/
VDE0805.
SConnect an earth conductor ofsufficient cross−sec
tional area to the connection on the CPX terminal
marked with the earth/ground symbol.
SThe CPX−FEC contains electrostatically sensitive com
ponents.Do not touch the electrical contacts ofthe
components.Observe the regulations for handling
electrostatically sensitive components.
Please note
Commission only a CPX terminal which is fitted and
wired completely.

3 Installation instructions
3.1 Fitting
The CPX−FEC is mounted in a manifold sub−base ofthe
CPXterminal.

Dismantling
SRemove the screws and lift the CPX−FEC up carefully.
Fitting
1. Check the seal and the sealing surfaces and refit the
CPX−FEC.
2. Screws must be inserted so that the self−boring
threads can be used.Tighten the screws in diagonally
opposite sequence at first by hand (Torx T10).
Tightening torque 0.9...1.1 Nm.

3.2 Setting the DIL switches
Set the operating mode with DIL switch 1:

mode is not recognized until after Power OFF/ON.

Leave the switch elements ofDIL switch 2set to
OFF.
3.3 Setting the rotary switch
The 16−element rotary switch (0, 1, ..., F)serves as a RUN/
STOP switch for the PLC.Leave the rotary switch at posi
tion 0" (STOP)during installation.
Setting Rotary switch
0 = STOP
PLC programhas stopped.Programs stop when
the setting ofthe rotary switch is modified from
1... F to 0.
1 ... F = RUN
User programstarted.Programs start when the
setting ofthe rotary switch is modified from0 to
1... F.
The switch position can be interrogated in the
user programand used for programming pur
poses.
Modifications to the position ofthe rotary switch are transmitted to
the controller with a delay of500ms.
