1 BenutzerhinweiseDeutsch
Die CPV-SC Ventilinsel ist ausschließlich zur Steuerung
pneumatischer Aktuatoren bestimmt. Hierbei sind die
angegebenen Grenzwerte der technischen Daten einzuhal-
ten. Ausführliche Informationen finden Sie in der Pneuma-
tik-Beschreibung P.BE-CPVSC-... .
Warnung
SSchalten Sie die Spannung aus, bevor Sie Steckver-
binder zusammenstecken oder trennen (Funktions-
schädigung).
SVerwenden Sie nur Netzteile, die eine sichere elektri-
sche Trennung der Betriebsspannung nach IEC 742/
EN 60742/VDE 0551 mit mindestens 4 kV Isolations-
festigkeit gewährleistet (Protected Extra-Low Vol-
tage, PELV, siehe nebenstehendes Zeichen. Schalt-
netzteile sind zulässig, wenn sie die sichere Trennung
im Sinne der EN 60950/VDE 0805 gewährleisten.
Hinweis
Nehmen Sie nur eine komplett montierte und verdrah-
tete Ventilinsel in Betrieb.

2 Pinbelegung des Multipolsteckers
Jeder Ventilplatz besitzt max. eine Ventilspule. Daher be-
nötigen Impulsventile zwei Ventilplätze. Ein Ventilplatz
belegt immer eine Adresse, auch wenn er mit einer Re-
serve- oder Trennplatte bestückt ist.
Jedem Pin des Multipolsteckers ist ein Ventilplatz und
damit einer Spule zugeordnet.
Vorsicht
Die Komponenten der Ventilinsel enthalten elektrosta-
tisch gefährdete Bauelemente. Berühren der Kontakt-
flächenanSteckverbindungenundMissachtungder
Handhabungsvorschriften für elektrostatisch gefähr-
dete Bauelemente können die Komponenten zerstören.
Lange Signalleitungen reduzieren die Störfestigkeit.
Halten Sie die max. zulässige Signalleitungslänge von
10 m ein.
Empfehlung:
Verwenden Sie zum Anschluss der CPV-SC Ventilinsel Mul-
tipolstecker und -Kabel aus dem Zubehör von Festo.

3 Ansteuerung der Ventilinsel
Steuern Sie die Ventilinsel in einheitlicher Ansteuerungsart
an. Vorzugsweise alle Steuersignale plusschaltend
(1-schaltend), andernfalls alle Steuersignale minusschal-
tend (0-schaltend). Das Ansteuern im Mischbetrieb ist
nicht zulässig.
3.1 Adressbelegung der Ventile
– Adressvergabe lückenlos aufsteigend
– Ein Ventilplatz belegt immer 1 Adresse
– Zählweise beginnend von links nach rechts

The CPV-SC has been designed exclusively for controlling
pneumatic actuators. The maximum values specified in the
section “Technical specifications” must be observed here.
Detailed information can be found in the Pneumatics man-
ual P.BE-CPVSC-... .
Warning
SSwitch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
SUse only power units which guarantee reliable isola-
tion of the operating voltages as per IEC 742/
EN 60742/VDE 0551 with at least 4 kV isolation resis-
tance (Protected Extra Low Voltage PELV), see adjac-
ent symbol. Switch power packs are permitted, pro-
viding they guarantee reliable isolation in accordance
with EN 60950/VDE 0805.
Please note
Commission only a valve terminal which has been fitted
and wired completely.

2 Pin assignment of the multipin plug
Each valve location has max. one valve coil. Double-sole-
noid valves therefore require two valve locations. A valve
location always occupies an address even when it is fitted
with a blanking plate or separator plate.
A valve location and therefore a coil are assigned to each
pin of the multipin plug.
Caution
The components of the valve terminal contain electros-
tatically sensitive elements. The components will be
damaged if you touch the contact surfaces of the plug
connectors and if you do not observe the regulations
for handling electrostatically sensitive components.
Long signal cables reduce the immunity to interference.
Do not exceed the maximum permitted signal cable
length of 10 m.
Recommendation:
Use multipin plugs and cables from the Festo range for
connecting the CPV-SC valve terminal.

3 Controlling the valve terminal
Control the valve terminal in a uniform manner. Preferably,
all control signals should be positive-switching (1-switch-
ing), otherwise negative-switching (0-switching). Mixed
mode control is not permitted.
3.1 Address assignment of the valves
– Assign the addresses in ascending order without gaps.
– A valve location always occupies 1 address.
– Counting beginning from left to right.

1 Instrucciones para el usuarioEspañol
El CPV-SC ha sido diseñado exclusivamente para el control
de actuadores neumáticos. Aquí deben observarse los
valores máximos indicados en la sección “Especificaciones
técnicas”. La información detallada sobre la parte neumá-
tica puede hallarse en el manual de la parte neumática,
P.BE-CPVSC-... .
Atención
SDesconectar la fuente de alimentación antes de in-
sertar o retirar conectores (de lo contrario, pueden
producirse daños).
SUtilizar solamente fuentes de alimentación que ga-
ranticen un aislamiento fiable de las tensiones de
funcionamiento según IEC 742/EN 60742/VDE 0551
con una resistencia de aislamiento de por lo menos
4 kV (PELV, tensión extra baja protegida), véase el
símbolo adyacente. Se permiten fuentes de alimenta-
ción conmutadas, si se garantiza un aislamiento fia-
ble según EN 60950/VDE 0805.

2 Asignación de pines de la clavija multipin
Cada posición de válvula tiene como máximo una bobina.
Por ello, las válvulas de doble bobina requieren dos posi-
ciones de válvula. Una posición de válvula siempre ocupa
una dirección (incluso si está ocupada por una placa ciega
o una placa de separación.
Una posición de válvula y por lo tanto, una bobina, es
asignada a cada pin de la clavija multipin.
Precaución
Los componentes del terminal de válvulas contienen
elementos sensibles a descargas electrostáticas. Estos
componentes pueden dañarse si se tocan las superfi-
cies de contacto de los conectores y si no se observan
las normas para el manejo de componentes sensibles a
las descargas electrostáticas.
Los cables de señal largos reducen la inmunidad a inter-
ferencias.
No sobrepasar la longitud máxima permitida de 10 m
en los cables de señales.
Recomendación:
Usar clavijas multipin y cables de la gama Festo para co-
nectar el terminal de válvulas CPV-SC.
