wTool needed to replace batteries: Phillips screwdriver (not included).

wDo not mix old and new batteries.
wDo not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or
rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
wRemove the batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted
batteries from the toy. Battery leakage and corrosion can damage this toy.
Dispose of batteries safely.
wNever short circuit the battery terminals.
wNon-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
wOnly batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended in the
“Battery Replacement” instructions are to be used.
wIf removable rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under
adult supervision.
wRechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before they are charged.
wIf you use a battery charger, it should be examined regularly for damage to the
cord, plug, enclosure and other parts. Do not use a damaged battery charger
until it has been properly repaired.

When sounds become faint or no longer work, it's time for an adult to change
the batteries!
wLocate the battery compartment on the underside of the toy.
wLoosen the screw in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver.
wLift to open the battery compartment door.
wCarefully remove the exhausted batteries from the battery compartment. Properly
discard the used batteries.
wInsert two new alkaline “button-cell” batteries (LR44, AG13, A76) in the battery
compartment positive side (+) up.
wReplace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw with a Phillips
screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
