Information
This child restraint device has been classified as „semi-
universal” and is fit for installation on relevant seats in
the car. LO-Lennart adopts ISOFIX system and holds a
type approval certificate in accordance with the
regulations no. 44, amendments series 04 for general
use in vehicles equipped with ISOFIX systems.
It is compatible with vehicles with configurations
acknowledged as ISOFIX configurations (in
accordance with the vehicle manual), depending
on child restraint category and fixing method.
The product is intended for weight groups 0+ and I.

Dear Customer!
Thank you for placing trust in us and choosing Lionelo child
restraint.
Our restraints are manufactured with utmost care to
provide your child with comfortable travel and - above all
- safety. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials and
modern solutions, we provide you with a product perfect for
everyday use.
Before you use the restraint for the rst time, please
read this manual carefully. A wrong use of the product
may pose a threat to child’s life.

The product is approved for ECE R44
amendments series 04 as the child safety seat
for two weight groups: up to 13 kg and 9-18
kg. The child restraint will provide maximum
protection to your child only if it has been xed
in accordance with the manual. A failure to
follow the manual may lead to accidents. To protect your child
properly, LO-Lennart must always be used and installed as
described in this manual.

1.Intended use
IMPORTANT: Please read the tips below carefully and store this
manual in the designated box in the child restraint so that it is
always accessible. If you hand over the product to third parties,
please attach this manual. A wrong assembly may pose a threat
to child’s health and life. The manufacturer shall not be held
responsible for potential hazards arising from wrong assembly of
the child restraint.
This child restraint is intended for weight categories (groups) 0+
and I, which means it may be used by children whose weight does
not exceed 18 kg.
0+ weight group: 0kg - 13kg
I weight group: 9kg - 18kg
1.How to use in the car
The child restraint may be used solely in
vehicles equipped with ISOFIX xing points.
When you install the product in the vehicle,
always use ISOFIX system. It is forbidden
to use the child restraint on front seats or
seats equipped with airbags! Active airbags
may cause serious injuries or even death in case of collision.

Correct and wrong installation of the child restraint:

Note! To provide your child with proper protection, make sure
the product has been xed properly and is used in accordance
with recommendations in the manual. To use the child restraint
properly, please read the vehicle manufacturer’s manual.
The position of the child restraint (forward-facing or rear-facing
position) depends on the child’s age and height.
In special cases the child restraint may be fixed on

the passenger front seat. This being the case, make sure:
- the passenger’s seat is compatible with ISOFIX system. If not,
the child restraint must not be used.
- deactivate airbags on the passenger’s side. If it is impossible
– the child restraint must not be used.
Note! Do not use the child restraint in places where a front
airbag is active. This information does not apply to side airbags.
Do not secure the child restraint with a car safety seat. In case
of accident, when the child restraint is secured with the safety
seat, the child and other passengers may sustain serious or
even fatal bodily injuries.
LO-Lennart child restraint is intended for forward-facing car
seats only. The product must not be installed on rear-facing
seats/couches. They are common in vans or minibuses.
Safety in the vehicle:
To provide yourself and your passengers with top safety during
travel, make sure:
• Folding elbow rests have been folded (vertical position).
• If the child restraint is xed on the passenger front seat, this
seat must be pushed back as far as possible.
• Any items which may cause damage in the car in case of
collision must be secured properly.

EN • All passengers have fastened their seat belts.
Warnings:
• The child restraint is intended for children up to 18 kg only.
• The child restraint may be used in vehicles with ISOFIX
connectors only.
• Do not leave the child in the vehicle unattended.
• Before you start assembling the child restraint, read the
vehicle manufacturer’s manual.
• Do not x other ISOFIX fasteners than those which have been
placed in the vehicle by the car manufacturer.
• It is forbidden to use the child restraint on front seats or seats
equipped with airbags! Active airbags may cause serious
injuries or even death in case of collision. See the vehicle
manual to identify location of airbags!
• If the child’s weight is below 9kg, do not use the child restraint
in a forward-facing position!
• The forward-facing position is suitable for children whose
weight ranges from 9 to 18kg.
• To provide your child with top safety, please follow the manual
carefully.

• This child restraint must be used in the car – do not use it in
other situations.
• In most vehicles, it is advisable to install the child restraint on
the rear seat (if equipped with ISOFIX fasteners).
• For the sake of driver’s and passengers’ safety, the child
restraint must be secured with ISOFIX fasteners even if the
child is not in the car! In case of sudden braking, collision or
other accident, the unsecured child restraint may cause serious
damage. It may also limit the driver’s vision during the travel.
• The child transported in the restraint device must be secured
with child restraint safety belts! Always make sure the child
has been secured properly. The belt must be adapted to child’s
height.
• The child restraint must be fixed in accordance with the
manual. Using other fasteners than those supplied may be
hazardous.
• Every time you adjust the child restraint, check if the headrest
and backrest are in a desired position.
• If the child’s head is higher than the top edge of the child
restraint, please stop using it.
• If you can see any damage to belts, mechanisms, ISOFIX
fasteners or other components, do not use the child restraint.
• Do not use additional liners in the child restraint. Use liners

EN supplied only. Using other components may affect your child’s
safety.
• When the vehicle runs, do not take the child out of the child
restraint. Do not give any liquids or meals to your child during
travel.
• The child restraint may be xed on forward-facing car seats
only.
• Do not use the child restraint without its cover. Do not use
other cover either. Fabric elements are integral part of the set
and inuence the child’s safety during travel.
• In case of sudden hit, the child restraint and ISOFIX xing
system may be damaged. It is advisable to replace them or
consult the specialist.
• Never use the second-hand child restraint. This product may
be seriously damaged even if you cannot see it. Using such
child restraint poses a serious threat to your child.
• Hard and plastic items of the set must be placed in a way that
they do not trap under the sliding seat or in vehicle door when
the motor vehicle is used regularly.
• It is forbidden to use alternative spare parts. You should
not make any modications to this product unless you have
been authorized by a relevant body beforehand. In case of any
questions or issues, please contact the store or service center.
The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for any repairs

made in an unauthorized point and use of alternative spare
parts.
• Please follow the manual carefully.
• Do not use other contact points than specied in the manual.
• It is advisable to cover the child restraint with fabric if you
intend to expose the product to sunlight for a long time. If you
leave the child restraint in the sun for a long time, the quality of
plastic may deteriorate and fabric elements of the cover may
fade. Before you place the child in the restraint, make sure the
product is not too hot for your child’s skin due to sun exposure.
• In sudden accidents, it is important that the child may be
taken out of the child restraint fast. This means that the buckle
is not completely resistant to manipulations, and therefore you
have to instruct your child not to play with it.
• Do not transport any unsecured items in the vehicle, especially
on the rear shelf. In case of accident, these elements may
cause injuries.
• Before you travel, make sure the belts have not been twisted,
have not been slammed up with door or do not rub against
sharp components of car interior. If the safety belt is frayed, use
a new belt.
• Keep the product away from re! It is forbidden to leave the
child restraint near items which generate strong heat!

EN • The child restraint must be stored in a safe and dry place. Do
not place any heavy items on the child restraint, avoid contact
with corrosive substances.
• If your travel is long, make sure you stop frequently. Children
get tired easily.
• It is forbidden to remove stickers and warnings from the
product because they contain important information!
• Use the child restraint in accordance with its intended use.
The product must not be used at home.
• The child restraint is not a toy - do not let your child play with it.
• Child restraint packaging must be kept out of reach of children
when and after you unpack it to protect your child against
suffocation risk arising from getting tangled in set components
or swallowing its components and clogging the respiratory
tract (through mouth or nose)!

3. Description
NOTE! The infant seat liner is intended to protect your child
and must be used until your child is 60 cm tall.

How to adjust belt height
Shoulder belt height (2,12) must be adjusted so that child’s
shoulders are at the same height as safety belt outlet from
the child restraint.
How to fasten seat belts
To fasten belts, at rst adjust the belt height to child’s arms.
Next:

1. Join tips of the harness (13).
2. Insert them into the central part of the buckle (14) until
you can hear a „click”.
3. Check if the harness has been secured properly – try to
pull them.
To undo the belts, press the red button on the buckle (14).
Both tips will pop out. Pull them and separate.
The harness must t tight and be adapted to child’s body.
They must not cause discomfort. The belts must not be
twisted.
How to loosen and tighten the harness
To provide your child with top safety (when the child is in the
child restraint and when harness has been fastened), make
sure the belts have been adjusted properly – they should t
tight your child’s body. Safety belts must not be twisted or
loose.

EN To loosen the harness, press the belt adjustment button
(4) located in the front of the child restraint, just under the
covering. Hold the button with one hand, and pulls shoulder
belts (2,12) with the other. Pull them to have a desired
distance (rst photo).
To tighten the harness and adjust it to the child, pull gently
the adjustment belt (5) until you have a desired length.
The harness must be tight but must not cause discomfort
(second photo).
Make sure the lower belt presses and secures the child’s
pelvis properly.
How to adjust headrest and shoulder belt height
The headrest (1) must be
adapted to child’s height.
Pull the red handle on
the headrest upwards and
then adjust the height. The
shoulder belt height (2,12) will
change too.
Note! Check if the headrest
has been set properly – try to
pull it up and down.

How to adjust support leg length
Press the support leg
adjustment button (8) to
adapt the support leg length
(9) to the vehicle seat height.
Note! Make sure the support
leg base contacts the vehicle
oor directly.
Note! If there is a oor box in
the oor, contact the vehicle
manufacturer.
The support leg indicator (10) must be green.
How to x and adjust ISOFIX connectors

EN The location of ISOFIX fasteners (20) may be adjusted so
that they fit the fixing points. It is necessary to slide the
ISOFIX adjustment belt (located on the child restraint base,
number 21). ISOFIX xing points on both sides must pull out
as far as possible.
Connect both ISOFIX connectors (20) to the relevant xing
points located in the car seat. Slide the child restraint
towards the vehicle seat backrest until it ts the backrest
tight. ISOFIX rails (20) will slip in and secure again (click) in a
new position. ISOFIX handle adjustment indicator (19) must
be green on both rails. Make sure there is no free space
between the child restraint and seat backrest.
To undo the connectors, press ISOFIX release button (18).
If you wish to x the connectors again, repeat steps above.
Note! Once the procedure has been completed, make sure it
is correct. To do so, move the base on both sides (right and
left) energetically and make sure it is stable.
How to assemble and disassemble the child restraint
from ISOFIX base
The child restraint may be installed in two positions: forward-
facing position and rear-facing position. If you want to
detach the child restraint from ISOFIX base (16), all you need
to do is press the release button (6).
If you want to attach the child restraint to ISOFIX base (16),

join two handles and relevant fastening points (see photo
above). Next press the lock button (6) – it should pop out of
its position. The restraint fastening indicator (7) should be
green.
Note! Make sure the fastening indicator (7) is green – try to
move the child restraint backrest.
How to install child restraint in the car
Weight group 0+ (children 0 – 13 kg heavy)

EN Note! Do not use the forward-facing position if the child’s
weight does not exceed 9kg!
The child restraint may be used in this position by children
whose weight is below 13 kg (0+ group). The child must be
secured with child restraint safety belts (see chapter: How to
fasten seat belts), and the child restraint positioned in a rear-
facing position and secured with ISOFIX fasteners (20).
Note! It is forbidden to use the child restraint on a front
seat or any other seat equipped with airbag (it does not
apply to side airbags)!
1. Place ISOFIX base (16) in the car. Slide ISOFIX adjustment
button (21) – ISOFIX connectors (20) will pop out on both
sides. Join both ISOFIX fasteners and relevant fastening
points located on the base together. Make sure ISOFIX
fastening indicators (19) are green on both ISOFIX rails. Next
push ISOFIX base (16) towards the vehicle seat backrest
– so that it ts tight. Adjust the support leg (9) so that it
contacts the vehicle oor.
2. Fix the seat on ISOFIX base (16) in a rear-forward position.
Make sure the seat and base have been connected properly
– push the child restraint a few times (right, left) to make
sure the child restraint and base have been connected
permanently and properly. Seat anchoring indicator (7)
should be green.
3. Place your child in the child restraint. Check shoulder belt
height. Fasten child restraint safety belts (13) (see chapter:
