DESCRIPCIÓN DELEQUIPO
Elprincipiode lalimpiezaporultrasonidosconsisteen
lautilización de lasondassonorasde altafrecuencia
(40KHz) que sepropagan mecánicamenteen elinte-
riorde lacuba,produciendo un efectocavitación que
origina laformación de millonesde burbujasmicroscó-
picasde bajapresión que ejercen una limpieza
molecular.
Laspiezascomplicadaspueden limpiarsesinnecesi-
dad de desmontarlas,yaque lacavitación penetrará
en cualquierpartedonde lasolución limpiadoraesteen
contactocon lasuperfície.
EQUIPMENTDESCRIPTION

el ciclodedichasintermitenciasseauniforme,sera
indicativode que latemperaturadellíquido seha
estabilizado.
3.La graduaciónde laescaladeltermostatosólosir-
vedereferencia,siendolatemperaturareallaque
nospueda indicarun termómetrointroducido en
ellíquido.
OBSERVACIONES:
*No sedebe nuncacargarexcesivamentelacube-
ta.
*Asimismo,seevitarácolocarpiezasdemasiado
pesadasdirectamentesobreelfondo de lacubeta
(usarloscestillosprevistosatalefecto).
*No hayque extrañarsede que ellíquido cojacier-
tatemperatura, asícomode que labasedelapa-
ratoseponga caliente.
*Cuando setengan que limpiarcosasporprimera
vez,ode gran valor,esconvenienteque sehaga
una prueba con una solapiezaantesde seguir
con lasdemas.No sedeben limpiarperlasorgáni-
cas. Durantelalimpiezasegeneraciertocalor.
*Deben utilizarseproductosquímicosde limpieza
que sean compatiblescon losútilesde trabajoy
con elequipo.
*Losdisolventescorrosivosdebenserevitados;
cuando setengan que limpiarobjetosfrágileso
de gran valor,utiliceeltipo de limpiadorrecomen-
dado porelfabricantedelmaterialsujetoalimpie-
za.
*Eltiempo de limpiezade cualquierobjetodepen-
de deltipo,cantidad ysituación de lasuciedad
quedebelimpiarse.Enalgunoscasos,cuandosólo
existeunsuciedadsuperficial,éstapuededespren-
derseen sólopocossegundos.La suciedad más
arraigada yelorin necesitan algunosminutospara
sereliminados.
*Elbaño,despuésde serutilizado,debe simple-
mentelimpiarseconuntrapomojado,yluegodebe
secarsebien.Elcordón de alimentación debe es-
tardesenchufado.
*Parauna mejorconservación ymayorduración,
aconsejamossemantenga conectado sóloduran-
teel periododelimpiezadelosobjetos.Siel
interválode limpiezaesprolongado debe mante-
nerseelaparatodesconectado pormediode su
interruptor.
2.Afteracertain time,the heateroperation indica-
torlamp(4)will begin tooperateintermittently.
When the cycle oftheseintermittencesbecomes
uniform,thatwill indicatethatbathisalreadysta-
bilized tothe desired temperature.
3.The thermostatscale graduation isonlyuseful as
areference,becausethe real temperatureisthe
one shownbyathermometerintroduced intothe
liquid.
COMMENTS:
*Do notoverload the cleaner.
*Avoid placing heavy instrumentsdirectlyon the
bottomoftank(usethe basketsprovided forthis
purpose)..
*Ultrasoniccleaners createheatand the cleaning
solution will get warm. The baseof the unit may
becomevery hotin extended use.
*Beforecleaninganything-particularlyvaluable
items- forthe firsttime, itisworthexperimenting
withasole piecebeforecontinuing withthe oth-
ers.Organicpearlsareunsuitable forultrasonic
cleaners.Heatisgeneratedduringcleaningwhich
could harm them.
*The chemical cleaning solutionsemployed must
be compatible withwork toolsand furniture.
*Corrosivesolventsmustbeavoided.Whenclean-
ing fragile objectsandforvaluable items,aclean-
ing solventrecommended bythe manufacturer
must be used.
*Thetimenecessarytoclean eachobjectdepends
on the type,quantityand location ofthe dirttobe
removed.Inthe caseofsuperficial dirt, onlya
fewsecondsmaybenecessary,butinother
cases, someminutesoperation will be required.
*Afterusing the cleaner,clean itwithadampcloth
andwipedry.Disconnectfrommainsbeforeclean-
ing.
*Forgreaterconservationanddurabilityofcleaner,
itisbettertokeep itconnected onlyduring the
cleaning ofitems.Ifthe cleanermustbe acertain

nected frommainspower.

SOLUCIONES LIMPIADORAS:
Lassolucioneslimpiadorassepueden clasificaren
dosgrandesgrupos:lasque tienen porbaseelagua
alaque selemezclaráun compuestodetergente,y
losdisolventes.Losdetergentesque semezclan con
elagua pueden seren formasólida olíquida.Elagua
eselmediode limpiezamásutilizado,dado que tie-
ne lacapacidad de disolvermuchossólidos
inorgánicos.No puede disolverlasmateriasorgáni-
castalescomoaceites,grasasyceras;sinembargo,
elagua sirvede mediode transporteparaloscom-
puestosdetergentesque actuarán sobreestossóli-
dos.
Elagua actua también comoun mediode dispersión
paralasmateriasorgánicas, lascualesno puede di-
solverperolasmantiene en suspensión.
Enlamayoriade loscasosde limpieza,yespecial-
mentecuando no existen grandesdepósitosde gra-
sasoaceites,sepuede utilizarun detergentelíquido
doméstico.
Cuando elvolumen ynaturalezade alguna suciedad
estalque lassolucionesacuosasno laatacan en
absolutoolohacen muylentamente,setendrán que
utilizardisolventesque tienen laventajade poseer
un gran poderdisolventede ceras, aceitesygrasas.
CLEANING SOLUTIONS:
Cleaning solutionscan be classified intotwogroups:
thosewhichhavewaterasthebasicelementtowhich
adetergentisadded,and solvents.The detergents
whicharemixed withwatermaybe solidsorliquids.
Wateristhe mostuniversal cleaning type,asitis
able todissolvesuchorganicsubstances.Although
watermaynotdissolvesuchorganicsubstancesas
oil,greaseorwax,itcanbe used tocarrythecleaning
detergent toact on the substancestobe dissolved.
Wateralsoactsasameansofdispersal fororganic
substanceswhichcannotbedissolvedbutwhichmay
be suspended in the solution.
Inmostcases,andespeciallywhen therearenolarge
tracesofgreaseoroils,astandarddomesticliquid
detergent maybe used.
When volumeand type ofdirtissuchthataqueous
solutionsdo notattack itatall ordo itvery slowly,
solventswithagreatpowertodissolvewax,oilsand
greaseshavetobe used.
