Thank you for ordering the VeriFone V200c payment terminal!
Your terminal is currently locked for security reasons. Before first use, you will be required to
activate it. This quick guide will explain what to do to unlock your device ready to take
transactions.
N.B. You will require your Merchant Number for this process which can be found within your
welcome pack.
If you require assistance, please contact your merchant helpdesk for support.

Turn the V200c over.

Remove the backplate by lifting the tab.
The backplate will separate from the device.

Plug the power supply into the power slot.

Plug the Ethernet / CAT5 cable into the LAN port.
Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into the router
or your LAN port.

Re-attach the backplate so that the cables match the
photo shown.

Plug the power supply unit into the main socket. The
V200c will start booting up.
You will be presented with the “Terminal Locked”
screen. Using the terminal keypad, key in your
Merchant Number as the password and press the
green [ENTER] key on the keypad to confirm.

If the password is correct, you will be present with
these screens.
Press the green [ENTER] button to proceed through
both screens.

Press the key to the left of the main Navigation button.

At the Main Menu (1/2) screen, press the key to the
right of the main Navigation window to select the next
page of the menu.

Press 3 on the keypad to select Configuration.

Enter the default password 1234 and press the green
[ENTER] key on the keypad.

Press 1 on the keypad to select Communication.

At the Communication Panel, check that the network
for LAN status is “Up”.
If it is “Down”, then contact the Helpdesk.

Press the red [CANCEL] key on the keypad twice
times to return to the Main Menu (2/2) screen.
Press 2 on the keypad to select Supervisor.

Enter the default password 1234 and press the green
[ENTER] key on the keypad.

At the Supervisor Menu (1/2), press the key to the
right of the main Navigation window to select the next
page of the menu.

Press 1 on the keypad to select Logon

Press 2 on the keypad to select the primary acquirer,
in this example, Verifone.

confirm.

If you see the Logon successful screen then your
device is ready to take transactions. Press the green
[ENTER] button to proceed.
A short receipt will be printed to confirm the result.

Press the red [CANCEL] button three times to return to
the main screen.
