Safety
1. Read and follow all the instructions and warnings in this guide
carefully before attempting to operate the recliner for the first time.
Failure to follow the guide may result in injuries, product damage and
will void your warranty.
2. The recliner has to be placed within 3.8 meters of the power outlet.
3. Ensure the recliner is clear of walls, furniture and other obstructions
that may interfere with a clear path for operation.
4. The recliner has a maximum weight capacity of 150kg. Staying within
the weight limit keeps you safe from injuries and product damage.
5. The recliner is not suitable for adults and children with physical,
sensory or mental challenges. Please always provide supervision and
instructions for persons with disabilities.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play on
the recliner or with the controls.
7. Ensure that all the cords are kept clear of the mechanism under the
seat.
8. The recliner is only to be used with the electrical components
provided. If any component is damaged, contact us directly.
9. Keep hands and feet clear of the mechanism when operating the
controls.
10. Keep children and pets away from all moving parts while operating
the recliner.
11. Always leave the recliner in an upright and closed position after use.
12. Do not get out of the recliner while the footrest is extended.
Footrest must be closed before getting out of or into the seat.
13. Do not sit on the armrests of the recliner.

Hardware

Step 1 Open the box from the bottom. Follow the red
string to locate the box of the power supply, cords,
legs and hardware. Use a pair of scissors to release
them from the nylon strips.

Step 2 Align a leg ③ with the holes on the bottom of the
chair base. Insert the bolts A into the holes to fix
the leg in place. Tighten the bolts with the Allen key
B.

Step 3 Flip the chair base ① the right way up. Remove the
protectors from the metal arms at the back of the
chair base.

Step 4 With assistance of a friend, hold up the backrest ②
and stand at the back of the chair base.
Carefully align the sleeves on the inner sides of the
backrest with the metal arms. Push the backrest
downwards firmly until it is fully slotted and locked
into position.

Step 5 Smooth down the fabric flap on the back of the
backrest. Run your fingers along the bottom edge of
the chair to allow the Velcro tape to adhere.

Step 6 Locate the male plug at the back of the chair.
Grab the extension cord ⑤ and pick the female
plug with the cap.
Flip up the cap and connect the plug to the male
plug firmly. Flip down the cap and hook it to the
knobs on the male plug.

Step 7 Grab the power supply ④and connect it to the
extension cord.

Step 8 Finally grab the power cord ⑥and insert the
female plug of it into the socket of the power
supply.

Step 9 Plug the power cord into the power outlet of your
house.

Step 10 Follow the Control Button Operation in the next
pages to recline the chair thoroughly.
Attach the fabric flap at the front of the backrest to
the Velcro at the back of the seat.

Step 11 Follow the Control Button Operation in the next
pages to close your chair.
Your recliner is ready to use!

Control Button Operation
Locate the control
buttons hidden in the
slit on the right hand
side when sitting on it.

Press the front button to
recline your chair.
Release the button once
reaching your desired
position.
Press the back button to
restore your chair.
Release the button once
reaching your desired
position.

The maximum weight capacity
is 150kg. Staying within the
weight limit keeps you safe.
Keep your hands and feet
clear of the mechanism and
gaps.

maintenance will increase its durability and keep it looking beautiful for
longer. Follow these tips as a guide.
1. Furniture should be assembled according to our Assembly Guides.
You can find them at support.brosa.com
2. Store furniture in dry, ventilated rooms on tough flooring.
3. Plump cushions with your hands to restore its shape after
transportation.
4. Keep furniture away from radiators, air conditioners and extreme
temperatures (at least 30cm distance).
5. Protect your furniture from direct sunlight, which can discolour
fabric and dry out leather.
6. We recommend dispersing weight evenly across the seat, rather
than repeatedly sitting in the same spot.
7. Don’t jump or apply sudden force to the furniture. This may damage
the frame or suspension.
8. When moving furniture from one place to another, lift don’t drag.
9. Do not sit on the armrests as this can cause deformities or rupture
the seams.
10. Take caution with pets around furniture. Their claws and teeth may
cause damage.
11. Avoid using cleaning products containing harsh chemicals or oil
dissolving solvents.
12. Vacuum crevices of furniture on a low suction when needed.
Important Points
1. Moisture
Our products are made using wood and other materials that can be
sensitive to moisture. We recommend keeping furniture in an
environment with 45-60% relative moisture and at 10-25°C.
2. Sunlight
After time the fabric colour will change slightly, which is a natural
effect. To reduce this process, keep furniture out of direct sunlight.
