Locate Bolt Slots on Inside of Chair
• Carefully lay unit over on it’s side.
• Pull open bottom cover flap and locate the upper and lower
slots on inside back cavity.

Insert Washers onto Hand-Knob Bolts
• Insert (1) one lock washer and (2) two flat washers
onto each knob as shown.
Warning: Failure to use all three washers
on each knob bolt will bulge out the face
of the shelf and result in damage to the
product.

Pull open bottom
cover for access to
inside back cavity

Insert Knob Bolts from Inside of Chair
• Insert all four knob bolts into slots as shown:
Push lower bolts entirely through back of chair.
Insert upper bolts into wood slat, do not
push through entire back of chair.

Attach Rear Shelf to Lower Knob Bolts
• Insert one lower knob bolt into corresponding insert on rear
shelf and thread loosely at this point, DO NOT TIGHTEN.
• Align second lower knob bolt into corresponding insert.
Again thread loosely, DO NOT TIGHTEN.

Align first bolt with insert
and begin to thread.
Do not tighten.
Align second bolt with
insert and begin to thread.
Do not tighten.

Attach Rear Shelf to Upper Knob Bolts
• Insert upper knob bolts into corresponding inserts on
rear shelf and thread loosely.
• Once all four bolts have been aligned and inserted,
tighten all four bolts firmly.
Align upper bolts
with inserts and
begin to thread.
Step 5
Measure Shelf for Straightness
• Measure for shelf to be straight and square
with chair, adjust accordingly.
• Reapply bottom cover.
• Carefully set chair upright and inspect overall
