1.1 Konstruktion und Funktion
Die SiOCX Innenschäfte bestehen aus HTV-Silikon und je nach Version auch aus einem Carbon-
Prepreg-Außenschaft mit Adapter. Zur Druckentlastung von empfindlichen oder knöchernen Stel
len können je nach Version zusätzliche Silikon Gel-Polster und flexible Schaftbereiche optional
eingearbeitet werden. Die Innenschäfte werden individuell nach den Patientendaten gefertigt.
Beim SiOCX TF mit geschlossenem Außenschaft wird zur besseren Anpassung an den Patienten
ein Versorgungsschritt eingefügt. Dabei wird der definitive Innenschaft mit einem Diagnoseschaft
aus ThermoLyn ohne Adapter ausgeliefert. Der Diagnoseschaft bietet die Möglichkeit, Änderun
gen an der Form und am Schaftrandverlauf vorzunehmen sowie die Adapterposition zu bestim
men.
1.2 Kombinationsmöglichkeiten
Diese Prothesenkomponente ist kompatibel mit dem Ottobock Modularsystem. Die Funktionalität
mit Komponenten anderer Hersteller, die über kompatible modulare Verbindungselemente verfü
gen, wurde nicht getestet.
Der SiOCX TF Prox 7T452=1 ist für unterschiedliche Verschlusssysteme wie ShuttleLocks und
KISS Einzugsysteme geeignet. Der SiOCX TF Seal 7T452=2 eignet sich speziell für Unterdruck
systeme in Kombination mit dem ProSeal SIL Liner.
2 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
2.1 Verwendungszweck
Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für die exoprothetische Versorgung der unteren Extremität einzu
setzen.
2.2 Einsatzgebiet
Das Produkt darf nur in TF-Prothesen eingesetzt werden.

1) Die Passform des Diagnoseschafts am Patienten prüfen.
2) Den Grundaufbau der Prothese mit dem Diagnoseschaft durchführen.

3) Den Adapter am Diagnoseschaft positionieren, wie in der Anleitung des Adapters beschrie
ben.
4) Den Adapter am Diagnoseschaft so sichern, dass die Prothese den Belastungen der dynami
schen Anprobe und der Testphase standhält.
5) Den statischen Aufbau und die dynamische Anprobe der Prothese durchführen. Bei Bedarf
am Diagnoseschaft einen flexiblen Sitzbereich für den Definitivschaft anzeichnen.
6) Den Patienten die Prothese maximal 4Wochen testen lassen.
7) Nach erfolgreicher Testphase den vollständigen Diagnoseschaft mit Innenschaft an den Her
steller des Außenschafts schicken. Dabei darauf achten, dass sich der Adapter durch den
Transport nicht vom Diagnoseschaft lösen kann.
5.2 Aufbau mit Definitivschaft
INFORMATION
►Definitivschäfte dürfen nicht bearbeiten werden.
1) Den Grundaufbau der Prothese mit dem Definitivschaft durchführen.
2) Den statischen Aufbau und die dynamische Anprobe der Prothese durchführen.
3) Die Prothese fertigstellen.
6 Gebrauch
6.1 Pflegen der Haut
HINWEIS
Kontakt mit fett- und säurehaltigen Mitteln, Ölen, Salben und Lotionen

►Setzen Sie das Produkt keinen fett- und säurehaltigen Mitteln, Ölen, Salben und Lotionen
aus.

Derma Prevent beschädigt Innenschäfte aus Silikon
►Verwenden Sie kein Derma Prevent zur Pflege der Haut.
►Zur Hautpflege eine ph-neutrale, wasserbasierte und parfümfreie Hautlotion (z.B. ProCom
fort Gel) verwenden.
►Zur Pflege von wunden Stellen nach ärztlicher Absprache z.B. Allpresan® diabetic INTENSIV
Schaum-Creme verwenden.
6.2 Einsteigen in die Prothese
►Mit dem Stumpf in den Prothesenschaft steigen. Bei Bedarf eine Anziehhilfe verwenden.

7 Reinigung

►Reinigen Sie den Innenschaft täglich gemäß den Anweisungen dieses Kapitels.

►Reinigen Sie das Produkt nur mit den zugelassenen Reinigungsmitteln.
>Benötigte Reinigungsmittel: ph-neutrale Seife (z.B. Derma Clean 453H10), kratzfreies und
fusselfreies Tuch
1) Das Produkt mit einem Tuch mit Süßwasser und pH-neutraler Seife reinigen.
Dabei darauf achten, dass keine Flüssigkeit auf die anderen Prothesenkomponenten und zwi
schen Innen- und Außenschaft gelangt.
2) Die Seifenreste mit einem Tuch mit Süßwasser entfernen.
3) Das Produkt mit einem Tuch abtrocknen und an der Luft vollständig trocknen lassen.
8 Wartung
►Entsprechend der Nutzung mit dem Patienten regelmäßige Wartungstermine absprechen.
►Halbjährliche Sicherheitskontrollen durchführen.
►Das Produkt während der standardmäßigen Überprüfung der Prothesenpassteile mitüberprü
fen.
Wartungsschritte
>Benötigte Materialien: Innensechskantschlüssel 2mm, Isopropylalkohol 646F297*
1) Den Prothesenschaft auf Beschädigungen prüfen.
2) Wenn vorhanden: Den Ventilverschluss lösen.
3) Die zueinander gehörenden Schrauben und Einsetzmuttern markieren.
4) Die Schrauben mit dem Innensechskantschlüssel herausschrauben.
5) Den Silikonschaft herausnehmen.
6) Wenn vorhanden: Die Elektroden aus dem Silikonschaft entfernen.
7) Wenn vorhanden: Die Myo-Kontaktflächen mit Isopropylalkohol reinigen.
8) Den Prothesenschaft reinigen (siehe Seite8).
9) Optional: Den Silikonschaft auskochen.
10) Den Prothesenschaft wieder zusammenzubauen.
9 Entsorgung
Das Produkt darf nicht überall mit unsortiertem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Eine unsachgemäße
Entsorgung kann sich schädlich auf die Umwelt und die Gesundheit auswirken. Beachten Sie die
Angaben der zuständigen Behörde Ihres Landes zu Rückgabe, Sammel- und Entsorgungsverfah
ren.

1.1 Construction and Function
SiOCX inner sockets are made of HTV silicone and, depending on the version, also a carbon
prepreg outer socket with adapter. Depending on the version, additional silicone gel pads and
flexible socket sections can be integrated as options to provide pressure relief in sensitive or bony
areas. The inner sockets are individually fabricated according to the patient data. For the SiOCX-
TF with closed outer socket, a fitting step is integrated into the process for better adaptation to
the patient. For this purpose, the definitive inner socket is supplied with a ThermoLyn check sock
et without adapter. With the check socket, the shape and socket trim line can be changed and the
adapter position can be set.
1.2 Combination possibilities
This prosthetic component is compatible with Ottobock's system of modular connectors. Func
tionality with components of other manufacturers that have compatible modular connectors has
not been tested.
The SiOCX TF Prox 7T452=1 is suitable for various suspension systems such as shuttle locks
and KISS pull-in systems. The SiOCX TF Seal 7T452=2 is especially well suited for elevated
vacuum sockets in combination with the ProSeal SIL liner.
2 Intended use
2.1 Indications for use
The product is intended exclusively for lower limb exoprosthetic fittings.
2.2 Area of application
The product must be used in TF prostheses only.

5 Preparing the product for use
CAUTION
Incorrect alignment or assembly

5.1 Alignment with check socket

INFORMATION

1) Check the fit of the check socket on the patient.
2) Perform the bench alignment of the prosthesis with the check socket.
3) Position the adapter on the check socket as described in the instructions for the adapter.

4) Secure the adapter on the check socket such that the prosthesis can withstand the loads
occurring during the dynamic trial fitting and test phase.
5) Carry out the static alignment and dynamic trial fitting of the prosthesis. If required, mark a
flexible seating area for the definitive socket on the check socket.
6) Allow the patient to test the prosthesis for a maximum of 4weeks.
7) After a successful test phase, send the complete check socket with inner socket to the manu
facturer of the outer socket. Make sure that the adapter cannot be detached from the check
socket in transit.
5.2 Prosthetic alignment with definitive socket
INFORMATION
►Definitive sockets must not be reworked.
1) Perform the bench alignment of the prosthesis with the definitive socket.
2) Carry out the static alignment and dynamic trial fitting of the prosthesis.
3) Finish the prosthesis.
6 Use
6.1 Caring for the skin

6.2 Donning the prosthesis
►Slide your residual limb into the prosthetic socket. Use a donning aid if necessary.

7 Cleaning

free cloth
1) Clean the product with a cloth using fresh water and a pH neutral soap.
Make sure no liquid gets onto the other prosthesis components and between the inner and
outer sockets.
2) Remove soap residue with a cloth using fresh water.
3) Dry the product with a lint-free cloth and allow it to fully air dry.
8 Maintenance
►Arrange regular maintenance intervals with the patient depending on the level of use.
►Conduct half-yearly safety inspections.
►During the standard inspection of the prosthesis components, also inspect the product.
Maintenance steps
>Required materials: Allen wrench 2mm, 646F297* isopropyl alcohol
1) Check the prosthetic socket for damage.
2) If present: Loosen the valve closure.
3) Mark the matching screws and insert nuts.
4) Remove the screws with the Allen wrench.
5) Take out the silicone socket.
6) If present: Remove the electrodes from the silicone socket.
7) If present: Clean the myo-contact surfaces with isopropyl alcohol.
8) Clean the prosthetic socket (see Page12).
9) Optional: Boil the silicone socket.
10) Reassemble the prosthetic socket.
9 Disposal
In some jurisdictions it is not permissible to dispose of the product with unsorted household
waste. Improper disposal can be harmful to health and the environment. Observe the information
provided by the responsible authorities in your country regarding return, collection and disposal
procedures.
10 Legal information
All legal conditions are subject to the respective national laws of the country of use and may vary
accordingly.
10.1 Liability
The manufacturer will only assume liability if the product is used in accordance with the descrip

1.1 Conception et fonctionnement
Les emboîtures intérieures SiOCX sont fabriquées en silicone HTV et comprennent, en fonction
de la version, une emboîture extérieure en carbone pré-imprégné et un adaptateur. Afin de ré
duire la pression au niveau des zones sensibles ou osseuses, des rembourrages supplémentaires
en gel de silicone et des zones souples au sein de l’emboîture peuvent, en option, être ajoutés.
Les emboîtures intérieures sont fabriquées sur mesure en fonction des données du patient.
Concernant le produit SiOCX TF avec emboîture extérieure fermée, la procédure d’appareillage
comprend une étape supplémentaire qui permet un meilleur ajustement au patient. L’emboîture
intérieure définitive est alors livrée avec une emboîture d’essai en ThermoLyn sans adaptateur.
L’emboîture d’essai permet d’effectuer des modifications de la forme et du tracé de son bord ain
si que de déterminer la position de l’adaptateur.
1.2 Combinaisons possibles
Ce composant prothétique est compatible avec le système modulaire Ottobock. Le fonctionne
ment avec des composants d’autres fabricants disposant de connecteurs modulaires compatibles
n’a pas été testé.
La SiOCX TF Prox 7T452=1 convient à une utilisation avec différents systèmes de fermeture tels
que les prises rapides et les systèmes de d’enfilage KISS. La SiOCX TF Seal 7T452=2 est tout
particulièrement recommandée pour les systèmes à dépression en association avec le manchon
ProSeal SIL.
2 Utilisation conforme

5 Mise en service du produit

coupants afin d’éviter toute limitation de sa fonctionnalité.
5.1 Alignement avec l’emboîture d’essai

►Ne procédez à aucune découpe dans la zone d'assise de l'emboîture de prothèse thermo
plastique.

►Ne procédez à aucun traitement thermique de l’emboîture de prothèse lorsque celle-ci est
portée par le patient.
►Laissez l’emboîture de prothèse refroidir après tout traitement thermique.
INFORMATION
►En cas de modification ultérieure de l’emboîture d’essai, veuillez respecter les consignes de
traitement du ThermoLyn fournies dans l’information technique 646D300*.
1) Vérifiez la forme de l’emboîture d’essai sur le patient.
2) Procédez à l’alignement de base de la prothèse avec l’emboîture d’essai.
3) Positionnez l’adaptateur sur l’emboîture d’essai comme décrit dans les instructions
d’utilisation de l’adaptateur.

4) Bloquez l’adaptateur sur l’emboîture d’essai de telle sorte que la prothèse résiste aux sollici
tations auxquelles elle est soumise au cours de l’essai dynamique et de la phase d’essai.
5) Procédez à l’alignement statique et à l’essai dynamique de la prothèse. Si besoin, dessinez
sur l’emboîture d’essai les contours d'une zone d'assise souple pour l’emboîture définitive.
6) Faites tester la prothèse par le patient pendant 4semaines maximum.
7) Une fois la phase d’essai réussie, envoyez l’emboîture d’essai complète (emboîture intérieure
comprise) au fabricant de l’emboîture extérieure. Veillez alors à ce que l’adaptateur ne puisse
pas se détacher de l’emboîture d’essai pendant le transport.
5.2 Alignement avec l’emboîture définitive
INFORMATION
►Il n’est pas autorisé de modifier les emboîtures définitives.
1) Procédez à l’alignement de base de la prothèse avec l’emboîture définitive.
2) Procédez à l’alignement statique et à l’essai dynamique de la prothèse.
3) Effectuez l’assemblage de la prothèse.
6 Utilisation
6.1 Soins de la peau
AVIS
Contact avec des produits gras et acides, des huiles, des crèmes et des lotions
Stabilisation insuffisante en raison de la perte de fonctionnalité de la matière du produit
►Évitez tout contact avec des produits gras et acides, des huiles, des crèmes et des lotions.
INFORMATION
Derma Prevent endommage les emboîtures intérieures en silicone
►N’utilisez pas Derma Prevent pour les soins de votre peau.
►Pour les soins de la peau, utilisez une lotion pour la peau au pH neutre, à base d’eau et sans
parfum (parex. ProComfort Gel).
►Pour soigner les zones présentant des plaies, utilisez parex. la crème moussante Allpresan®
diabetic INTENSIV après avoir consulté votre médecin.
6.2 Mise en place de la prothèse
►Introduisez votre moignon dans l’emboîture de la prothèse. Si besoin, utilisez un chausse-pro
thèse.

7 Nettoyage
PRUDENCE
Nettoyage insuffisant de l’emboîture intérieure

►Nettoyez quotidiennement l’emboîture intérieure conformément aux consignes du présent
chapitre.

Utilisation de détergents inadaptés
Dégradation du produit occasionnée par l’utilisation d’un détergent inadapté
►Nettoyez le produit uniquement avec les détergents autorisés.
>Nettoyants requis: savon au pH neutre (parex. Derma Clean 453H10), chiffon anti-pe
luches et anti-rayures
1) À l’aide d’un chiffon, nettoyez le produit à l’eau douce et avec un savon au pH neutre.
Veillez alors à éviter tout contact des autres composants prothétiques avec du liquide et toute
pénétration de liquide entre les emboîtures intérieure et extérieure.
2) Éliminez les restes de savon avec un chiffon et de l’eau douce.
3) Essuyez le produit à l’aide d’un chiffon et laissez sécher entièrement à l’air.
8 Maintenance
►Déterminez des rendez-vous réguliers de maintenance avec le patient en fonction de
l’utilisation du produit.
►Effectuez des contrôles de sécurité tous les six mois.
►Effectuez un contrôle du produit au cours du contrôle habituel des composants prothétiques.
Étapes de maintenance
>Matériel et matériaux requis: clé Allen 2mm, alcool d’isopropyle 646F297*
1) Vérifiez que l’emboîture de prothèse n’est endommagée.
2) Si installé: débranchez le système de fermeture de la valve.
3) Effectuez des repères pour reconnaître les vis et les écrous de fixation qui vont ensemble.
4) Dévissez les vis avec une clé Allen.
5) Retirez l’emboîture en silicone.
6) Si installées: retirez les électrodes de l’emboîture en silicone.
7) En cas d’utilisation d’électrodes: nettoyez les surfaces de contact myoélectriques avec de
l’alcool d’isopropyle.
8) Nettoyez l’emboîture de prothèse (consulter la page18).
9) Facultatif: faites bouillir l’emboîture en silicone.
10) Assemblez à nouveau l’emboîture de prothèse.
9 Mise au rebut
Il est interdit d’éliminer ce produit n’importe où avec des ordures ménagères non triées. Une
mise au rebut non conforme peut avoir des répercussions négatives sur l’environnement et la san
té. Respectez les prescriptions des autorités compétentes de votre pays concernant les procé
dures de retour, de collecte et de recyclage des déchets.

1.1 Construcción y función
Los encajes interiores SiOCX están compuestos de silicona HTV y, dependiendo del modelo,
también de un encaje exterior de carbono preimpregnado con adaptador. Para aliviar la presión
de las zonas sensibles u óseas, dependiendo del modelo pueden haber incorporados acolchados
adicionales de gel de silicona y zonas flexibles en el encaje. Los encajes interiores se elaboran de
forma personalizada según los datos del paciente. En el caso de SiOCX TF con encaje exterior
cerrado, se ha añadido una fase de protetización para mejorar la adaptación al paciente. En ella,
el encaje interior definitivo se suministra con un encaje de diagnóstico hecho de ThermoLyn sin
adaptador. El encaje de diagnóstico permite modificar la forma y el trazado del borde del encaje,
así como determinar la posición del adaptador.
1.2 Posibilidades de combinación
Este componente protésico es compatible con el sistema modular de Ottobock. No se ha proba
do la funcionalidad con componentes de otros fabricantes que dispongan de elementos de cone
xión modulares compatibles.
El SiOCX TF Prox 7T452=1 es apropiado para diversos sistemas de cierre como las lanzaderas
de bloqueo y los sistemas de inserción KISS. El SiOCX TF Seal 7T452=2 es especialmente indi
cado para sistemas de vacío en combinación con el liner ProSeal SIL.
