MAIN FUNCTIONS
Real time surveillance
Analog output interface: VGA or HDMI.
Storage
The HDD works only during recording process which reduces energy consumption and extends
its life time. The device supports one SATA hard disk, up to 8TB capacity.
Note: the HDD is not included in tha package.
Backup
Over USB interface: on the storage devices with USB connection.
Playback
Real time video recording
Multiple playback mode: 1, 4, 8, 9 or 16 channels
Communication interface
Standard internet interface RJ45 10/100 mbps.
Intelligent operation
Device direct control over USB mouse.
Easily copy settings from one channel to another.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Installing the storage unit
Before the rst use, please install the storage unit. Inside the housing of the NVR can be installed
a single HDD with maximum capacity of 8TB (the HDD is not included in the package).
• Loosen the screws
• Remove the cover
• Fix the HDD
• Connect the data cables
• Fix the cover back to its place
• Connect the power cable and the internet cable
Turning the device on
Insert the power cable to turn on the device. The indicator LED will light up. By default, 16
channels will be displayed on the screen.
If the start hour is within the preset schedule for recording, then the recording function will start
automatically.
Notes:
1. Check that the input voltage corresponds to the recommended voltage of the device. The
supply voltage is 230V±10% / 50 Hz.
2. We suggest using a UPS to protect the device from voltage variations.

Turning the device o
There are two methods to turn o the NVR:
1. Access the main menu (right click on the screen) and select the Logout option - Shutdown
2. Turn o the power supply.
Special warnings:
1. Restart after power failure: If the device was abnormally closed, it makes a backup and it
restarts from that status once power is restored.
2. Replacing the battery on the motherboard: Before replacing the battery, you must save
your system settings and turn o the power. Device time must be rescheduled after battery
replacement. We recommend that you replace the battery every year.
Remote control:
You can remotely control the device:
- through dedicated CMS software, compatible with Windows
- over Internet Explorer
- through dedicated application (XMEye) compatible with iOS, Android.
System authentication
After turning on the device, log into the device.
By default, the admin user is protected by password 1234. If the password is entered incorrectly
5 times in a row, the account will be locked. By restarting the device or after half an hour, the
account will be unlocked automatically.
Note: For the security of your system, please change the password after the first authentication.

In the preview mode, right-click on the screen to access the menu below.

MAIN MENU
Main menus: System, Advanced, Info, Alarm, Record.
1. System

1.1 General
Time zones: set the time zone
System time: set the system date and time
Format data: choose the format of the date YMD (year, month, day), MDY (month, day, year),
DMY (day, month, year)
Data separator: choose a type of separator for the date format
Time format: choose the time format: 12 or 24 hours.
Language: set the display language of the menu
Storage full: the HDD is full choose ”Stop record” to stop recording or overwriting to continue
writing over old les.
DVR No: device number
Standard video: PAL or NTSC
Auto logout: set the maximum idle time after which the system will log out (0 - 60).
1.2 Encode
Set the audio and video compression parameters on each channel separately.

Channel: Choose the channel you want to congure
Compression: H.265 standard compression
Resolution: D1 / 1080N
Frame Rate: 1 to 25fps
Bit Rate Type: you can choose limited ow or variable ow. When choosing variable ow, you
have 6 image quality options
Bit Rate: the higher the value of the ow, the better the image quality
Video / Audio: Select the recording type
1.3 Network
Net Card: Select the Wire Netcard option
DHCP: Get the IP address automatically.
IP address: set the IP address manualy. The default address is 192.168.0.77
Subnet mask: The default address is: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: The default address is 192.168.0.1
DNS setup: The domain name of the server converts the domain name into the IP address. The
IP address is provided by the network administrator. This address must then be set to restart the
system to operate.
Media port: default 34567
HTTP port: default 80
HS download
Transfer policy: choose self-adaptation, quality priority or ow continuity priority.
The data ow will be calibrated according to the settings. The self-adaptation strategy represents
the trade-o between image quality vs. uency of images. Image uency and auto-adaptation
options are only valid when the data stream wizard is activated. Otherwise, the quality of the
images will prevail.

1.4 NetService
Select the desired network and click on the Set button to congure the network in advanced
mode or double click on the Service button to congure the parameters.
1.5 Tour
Activate this function to view a tour of all channels according to the set range.

1.6 Digital
Displays the number and type of cameras supported by this model:
You can add cameras, you can display their status or you can nd the number and resolution
of the supported cameras. This device supports 16 x 5MP cameras, 8 x 5MP cameras or 16 x
1080P cameras.

2. Advanced
2.1 Storage
The interface displays information about the internal HDD: number, type, status and storage
capacity.
Choose the storage device and then click on the function you want to execute.
Read / Write: The equipment can be written or read
Read-only: The equipment can only be read
Redundant: The function is not active
Format storage: Formats the HDD
Recover: Recovers information from the HDD
Partition: Creates partitions on HDD

2.2 Account
Notes:
1. The length of a user’s name can be up to 8 characters. Free spaces before or after the name
are invalid. The blank space in the middle of the name is valid. Allowed characters are: letters,
numbers, under line, minus, dot.
2. There is no limit to the number of users or groups of users. You can add or delete user groups
depending on user settings. Factory settings include: user / admin. You can set the team as you
wish. The user cannot designate the competencies in the group.
3. User management includes: group / user. The group and username cannot be the same. Each
user belongs to a single group.
Modify user: change the name and rights of the selected user
Modify group: Change the name and rights of the group
Modify password: change the user password. You can set a password of up to 6 characters. The
blank spaces before and after the word are not valid. The blank spaces between words are valid.
Note: The admin user can change his own password and the password of the other users.
Add user: Add user. Set the name, password, group and rights for it
Add group: Adds a group of users and assigns rights
Delete user: Deletes the selected user
Delete group: Deletes the selected user
Update: updates the user information
2.3 Online user
You can check the information about the users connected through the network. You can also select
a specic user to disconnect. The disconnected user will only be able to log in after the system is
restarted.

2.4 Device info
2.5 Display
In the local preview mode are included: time display, channel name, recording status, alarm
status, transparency and covered region.
Channel title: assign a channel title. Maximum 25 letters.
Time display: Displays the date and time of the system
Channel title: Displays the channel number
Record status: Displays the recording status
Alarm status: Displays the status of the system alarm
Transparency: choose the menu transparency on the screen: value between 128 and 255
Resolution: Set the screen resolution
2.6 Auto maintain
The user can set the time for automatic restart of the system and for automatic deletion of les.

2.7 Restore
The system can be set to the factory default settings. You can select from the menu the functions
you want to reset.
2.6 Upgrade
Select the path to the le for updating. Note: The le must be saved in the root directory of the
USB drive.

The interface provides detailed information about the storage unit, BPS (displays the Kb/s
transfer ow and MB/h storage capacity in real time), event history and software version.
In the Version submenu you will nd a QR Code with the serial number of the device and a QR
Code to the application.
4. Alarma
The alarm recording function includes: motion detection, image loss, video signal loss,
abnormalities.
4.1 Motion detect
When the system detects the movement that reaches the set sensitivity threshold then recording
will start.

Channel: Choose the channel to congure
Enable: The motion detection function is on
Sensitivity: Choose one of the 6 levels of sensitivity
Period (period): Activates motion detection within the specied range. You can set dierent time
intervals depending on the day of the week. Each day is divided into 4 sections of time.
In case of motion detection, you can choose the warning mode: display message, make sound,
upload to FTP server, send email, save the event in history.
4.2 Video blind
When the video image is inuenced by the environmental conditions, such as wrong lighting or

reaching the sensitivity threshold, an alarm will be triggered in the system.
The settings are the same as the motion detection.

4.3 Video loss
When the equipment does not receive a video signal, an alarm will sound in the system.
The settings are the same as the motion detection.

settings), Record config (shortcut to the recording configuration inteface).
4.4 Alarm input
Set the behavior in case of alarm: recording, tour or snapshot and sending them by email,
uploading to FTP, notication on mobile phone or just displaying message on screen or buzzer.
4.5 Abnormality
When an abnormal situation occurs, such as a lack of storage unit, lack of storage space, IP
conict, or lack of network connection, the device will alert you with a message or sound.
5. Recording
It includes: Record cong, Playback, and Backup.

5.1 Record cong
Access Main menu - Record - Record cong
Set the recording parameters on each channel or all channels simultaneously. The system is set
to start recording 24 hours continuously.
Note: The HDD must be set to read / write mode.
Channel: Choose the number corresponding to the channel for which you want to set the
recording. Choose All to make settings for all channels at the same time.
Redundancy: The function is not active for this model.
Length: Set the length of each recording le (in minutes). By default it is 60 min
Pre-Record: Record between 1 and 30 seconds before an alarm event.
Mode: set the recording type: scheduled, manually or stopped.
• Scheduled recording: You can choose 4 recording periods (between 0:00 and 24:00) and
3 modes (normal recording, motion detection and alarm):
Regular: the device records within the set time range. Video le type is ”R”.
Detect: the device records the motion detection. The video le type is ”M”.
Alarm: the alarm recording function includes: motion detection, image loss,
video loss.

• Manual recording: click on the button and the corresponding channel will record regardless
of the current status.
• Stop: click on the button and the corresponding channel will stop recording regardless of
the current status.

settings), Record config (shortcut to the recording configuration inteface).
5.2 Playback
There are two ways you can play les recorded on the internal HDD:
- Right click on the screen - Playback
- Right-click on the screen - Main Menu - Record - Playback
Note: The internal HDD from which you want to playback the recordings must be set to read-write
mode.
Note: for frame-by-frame playback the movie will need to be paused.
Special functions:
Local Zoom: When the system displays a single channel on the screen, you can select a portion
of the screen with the mouse to zoom in by clicking left. Then you can return to the normal screen
by double clicking.

5.3 Backup
Note: The USB memory must be installed in the DVR before starting the backup. Once the
procedure is executed, the created backup file can be played individually.
Detect: Detects the USB recording unit connected to the DVR
Erase: Formats the selected unit
Stop: Stops the backup
Backup. By pressing this button, the backup conguration interface appears
5.4 SnapShot Conf.
Set periodic snapshots at a certain time and send them by email, FTP or storage on your hard
disk.

FAQ AND TROUBLESHOOTING
If the problems are not listed below, we recommend that you call a the service department.
The device does not start normally
Possible reasons may be the following:
1. The power supply is not adequate.
2. The power adapter is defective
3. Failed update
4. The storage device is defective or the connections are interrupted
5. The front panel is defective
6. The device motherboard is defective.
The device restarts automatically or stops after a few minutes after switching on
Possible reasons may be the following:
1. The power supply voltage is too low or unstable
2. The storage device is defective or the connections are interrupted
3. The video signal is not stable
4. The radiator is very heated, there is too much dust or the device is running in unfavorable
conditions.
5. The electronic part of the device is defective.
The system does not detect any storage device
Possible reasons may be the following:
1. The power cables of the storage device are not connected
2. The cables of the storage device are defective or incompatible
3. The storage device is defective
4. The SATA port on the device board is defective
There is no video signal on the output
Possible reasons may be the following:
1. Inappropriate rmware. We recommend that you update the rmware.
2. The brightness of the image is 0. We recommend that you reset the device.
There is no video input signal or the signal is too weak.
1. The electronic part of the device is defective.
I can’t nd video les in local playback mode
Possible reasons may be the following:
1. The storage device data cable is defective
2. The storage device is defective
3. Update the rmware using the original update le
4. The video les you are looking for are elsewhere
5. The recording function was not started.
The local video le is not clear
Possible reasons may be the following:
1. The image quality is too poor
2. The local playback program does not work. Restart the device.
3. The data cable of the storage device is defective.
4. The storage device is defective
5. The electronic part of the device is defective.
There is no audio signal in the tracking area
Possible reasons may be the following:
1. You do not have a camera connected to a microphone
2. There is no active speaker
3. Audio cables are defective
4. The electronic part of the device is defective.
