Leer atentamente estas instrucciones
antes de utilizar el aparato
El calefactor TL-10N, cumple con la
norma europea EN-60335-2-30. Se
recomienda comprobar el estado y
funcionamiento del aparato al desem-
balarlo, cualquier defecto de origen está
amparado por la garantía.
INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES
ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD
– El calefactor no debe estar situado
justamente debajo de una base de
toma de corriente.
– Estesímbolosignifica:“NOCUBRIR”
el calefactor con objetos o prendas que
impidan la libre circulación del aire. Si
se cubre el calefactor existe el riesgo
de sobrecalentamiento.
–Mientras el calefactor esté en fun-
cionamiento, el cable no deberá
estar delante de la salida de aire.
– No utilizar este aparato de calefacción
en las inmediaciones de una bañera,
de una ducha o de una piscina.
–No deben quedar objetos inflama-
bles a menos de 50 cm del circuito
del aire caliente (cortinas, etc.).
–Mantener limpias las rejillas de en-
trada y salida del aire. Siempre que
se realice la limpieza, tener la pre-
caución de desconectar el aparato.
– No manipular con las manos moja-
das.
–Si el cable flexible de alimentación
está dañado, debe ser sustituído en
uno de nuestros talleres de repara-
ción o por personal similar cualifi-
ca
do con el fin de evitar un peligro.
– No se puede utilizar el calefactor
conectado a un programador, tem-
porizador u otro dispositivo que
controle la conexión del calefactor
automáticamente.

– PRECAUCIÓN: Algunas partes de este
aparato pueden ponerse muy calientes
y causar quemaduras. Debe ponerse
atención particular cuando los niños y
las personas vulnerables estén
presentes.
– Los niños menores de 3 años deben
mantenerse fuera del alcance del
aparato a menos que sean continua-
mente supervisados.
– Los niños desde 3 años y menores de 8
años deben sólo encender/apagar el
aparato siempre que éste haya sido
colocado en una posición de funciona-
miento normal prevista y que sean
supervisados o hayan instrucciones
relativas al uso del aparato de una
forma segura y entiendan los riegos
que el aparato tiene.
– Los niños desde 3 años y menores de 8
años no deben enchufar, regular y
limpiar el aparato o realizar operacio-
nes de mantenimiento.
– Este aparato pueden utilizarlo niños
con edad de 8 años y superior y perso-
nas con capacidades físicas, sensoria-
les o mentales reducidas o falta de
experiencia y conocimiento, si se les
ha dado la supervisión o formación
apropiadas respecto al uso del aparato
de una manera segura y comprenden
los peligros que implica.
–
Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato.

A partir de este momento, el calefac-
tor se conectará y desconectará
automáticamente, manteniendo constante
la temperatura preseleccionada.
6. Desconexión. Situar el mando selector
de potencia en la posición de paro.
Mantenimiento
1. Desconectar de la red antes de
efectuar cualquier operación de man-
tenimiento del aparato.
2. Cada temporada, limpiar el polvo
acumulado en el interior haciendo
pasar un chorro de aire a presión
de este aparato está dañado, única
mente puede ser sustituído por uno
de nuestros Talleres Oficiales de
Reparación, ya que son necesarias
herramientas especiales.
NOTA:Esmuyimportanteque,como
mínimo, una vez al año se efectúe
una limpieza a fondo del aparato,
de esta forma se disminuyen los
posibles riesgos de accidentes.
Desconexión por
sobrecalentamiento
Si se produjera alguna perturbación,
el sistema de desconeción por so-
brecalentamiento incorporado des-
conecta automáticamente el aparato.
Si esto ocurriera, actuar del modo
siguiente:
Desconectar el aparato de la red,
dejarlo enfriar durante 15 minutos,
limpiar la rejilla de salida, si fuera
preciso, hacerlo con un aspirador.
Si después de estos controles el
aparato no funciona normalmente, le
rogamos que acuda a la Red de Servicios
Oficiales S&P.
conectado a tierra.
3. Girar el mando termostato hasta su
posición máxima.
4. Seleccionar la potencia 1.000 W
velocidad lenta, 1.000 W ó 2.000 W
velocidad rápida.
5. Una vez que la habitación haya
alcanzado la temperatura deseada,
girar lentamente el mando del ter-
mostato en el sentido contrario a las
agujas del reloj, hasta que con un
suave «click» se desconecte el aparato.
El termostato regulable es el encar-
gado de establecer y mantener la
temperatura de confort deseada. Las
posiciones intermedias del mando
termostato corresponden a diferentes
niveles de temperatura. Si la tem-
peratura ambiente de la estancia es
elevada, es normal que el termostato
desconecte el aparto.
Funcionamiento
1. Compruebe que la tensión de la red
coincide con la indicada en la placa de
características.
2. Conectar la clavija a la toma de
corriente. Por tratarse de un aparato
de doble aislamiento no necesita ser
a través de las rejillas de entrada y
salida del aire. Dicha limpieza es conve-
niente sea efectuada por un técnico.
3. Limpiar regularmente las rejillas
de entrada y salida del aire.
4. No sumergir el aparato ni ponerlo
debajo del grifo.
5. No desmontar ni manipular el apa-
rato, ello anularía automáticamente la
garantía.
6. Si detecta cualquier anomalía, acu-
da a la amplia red de servicios ofici-
ales S&P.

reciclado de materiales; le rogamos
que no olvide depositar todos los

de reciclaje, así como de llevar los
aparatos sustituidos al Gestor de
Residuos más próximo.

replaced in one of our Oficial Services.
– Should flammable objets (curtains,
etc.) not be placed at less than 50 cm.

The thermostat controls the heater to
maintain the temperature selected bet-
ween minimum and maximum . When
selected room temperature is obtained
the thermostat will switch heater off,
and on, to maintain this setting.
Operation
1. Please ensure that the supply
voltage is in accordance with the
product rating plate (230 V 50 Hz).

2. Every season, clean the
accumulated dust from inside the unit
with a high pressure air jet or vacuum
cleaner. It is recommended that this
operation is carried out by a qualified
technician.
3. Clean the inlet and outlet grilles
regularly.
4. The appliance should not be dipped
in water for any reason nor should it
be put under a tap.
5. Do not dismantle the appliance in
any way as this will nullify the S&P
guarantee.
6. If the supply cord of this appliance
is damaged, it must only be replaced
by repair shop appointed by the
manufacturer because special
purpose tools are required.
Remark: it is very important that
regular maintenance of the fan
heateriscarriedoutinordertoreduce
the risk of possible fire hazards.
Overheating, switch off
In the event of overheating due to
any abnormal operation or failure, the
safety protection device will
automatically switch the unit off. In
this event:
1. Disconnect the appliance from the
mains supply.
2. Allow the unit to cool down for at
least 15 minutes.
3. Make sure that the outlet grille is
not obstructed by dust and if
necessary it can be cleaned with a
vacuum cleaner.
If after these actions the appliance
still does not work properly, we
recommend that it be taken to your
S&P dealer.
Removal from service,
disposal and recycling
- EU regulations and our commitment
to future generations oblige us to
recycle used materials; please re-
member to dispose of all unwanted
packaging materials at the appropriate
recycling points, and to drop off ob-
solete equipment at the nearest waste
management point.

carth connection is required.
3. Turn the thermostat knob in a
clokwise direction, to the maximum
position.
4. Select the Hetaing Power required:
Low Power 1.000 W, quiet mode;
Low Power 1.000W; High Power
2.000 W.
5. Once the desired temperature in
the room has been archieved, turn the
thermostat knob in an anticlockwise
direction until a soft click is heard
and the unit switches off. From then
on the heater will automatically select
the temperature.
6. Disconnection, turn the power knob
to the off position

Maintenance
1. Important, disconnect the unit from
the mains supply before carrying out
any maintenance operation.
2. Every season, clean the
accumulated dust from inside the unit
with a high pressure air jet or vacuum
cleaner. It is recommended that this
operation is carried out by a qualified
technician.
3. Clean the inlet and outlet grilles
regularly.
4. The appliance should not be dipped
in water for any reason nor should it
be put under a tap.
5. Do not dismantle the appliance in
any way as this will nullify the S&P
guarantee.
6. If the supply cord of this appliance
is damaged, it must only be replaced
by repair shop appointed by the
manufacturer because special
purpose tools are required.
Remark: it is very important that
regular maintenance of the fan
heateriscarriedoutinordertoreduce
the risk of possible fire hazards.
Overheating, switch off
In the event of overheating due to
any abnormal operation or failure, the
safety protection device will
automatically switch the unit off. In
this event:
1. Disconnect the appliance from the
mains supply.
2. Allow the unit to cool down for at
least 15 minutes.
3. Make sure that the outlet grille is
not obstructed by dust and if
necessary it can be cleaned with a
vacuum cleaner.
If after these actions the appliance
still does not work properly, we
recommend that it be taken to your
S&P dealer.
Removal from service,
disposal and recycling
