Maintenance
1. Important, disconnect the unit from
the mains supply before carrying out
any maintenance operation.
2. Every season, clean the
accumulated dust from inside the unit
with a high pressure air jet or vacuum
cleaner. It is recommended that this
operation is carried out by a qualified
technician.
3. Clean the inlet and outlet grilles
regularly.
4. The appliance should not be dipped
in water for any reason nor should it
be put under a tap.
5. Do not dismantle the appliance in
any way as this will nullify the S&P
guarantee.
6. If the supply cord of this appliance
is damaged, it must only be replaced
by repair shop appointed by the
manufacturer because special
purpose tools are required.
Remark: it is very important that
regular maintenance of the fan
heateriscarriedoutinordertoreduce
the risk of possible fire hazards.
Overheating, switch off
In the event of overheating due to
any abnormal operation or failure, the
safety protection device will
automatically switch the unit off. In
this event:
1. Disconnect the appliance from the
mains supply.
2. Allow the unit to cool down for at
least 15 minutes.
3. Make sure that the outlet grille is
not obstructed by dust and if
necessary it can be cleaned with a
vacuum cleaner.
If after these actions the appliance
still does not work properly, we
recommend that it be taken to your
S&P dealer.

clokwise direction, to the maximum
position.
4. Select the Hetaing Power required:
Low Power 1.000 W, quiet mode;
Low Power 1.000W; High Power
2.000 W.
5. Once the desired temperature in
the room has been archieved, turn the
thermostat knob in an anticlockwise
direction until a soft click is heard
and the unit switches off. From then
on the heater will automatically select
the temperature.

to the off position

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
–The heater should not be situated
under a current trap.
–Do not use this heater near a bath,
shower or a swimming pool.
–Do not handle the heater with your
hands wet.
– This symbol means “Do not
cover” the heater with objects that
prevent the air circulating freely.
Obstructing the airflow increases
the risk of overheating.
– If the cable is damaged, it must be
replaced in one of our Oficial Services.
– Should flammable objets (curtains,
etc.) not be placed at less than 50 cm.

The thermostat controls the heater to
maintain the temperature selected bet-
ween minimum and maximum . When
selected room temperature is obtained
the thermostat will switch heater off,
and on, to maintain this setting.
