Lea atentamente estas instruccio-
nes antes de utilizar el aparato.
El calefactor vertical TL-31 cumple
con las normas europeas EN-
60335-2-30.
Se recomienda comprobar el esta-
do y funcionamiento del aparato al
desembalarlo, cualquier defecto
de origen está amparado por la
garantía S&P.

ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD
- El calefactor, no debe estar
situado justamente debajo de
una base de toma de corriente.
- No cubrir el calefactor con obje-
tos que impidan la libre circu-
lación del aire. Si se cubre,
existe el riesgo de sobrecalen-
tamiento.
- Mientras el calefactor esté en
funcionamiento, el cable no
deberá estar delante de la sali-
da de aire.
- No deben quedar objetos infla-
mables (cortinas, etc.) a
menos de 50 cm del circulo del
aire caliente.
- Mantenga limpias las rejillas
de entrada y salida del aire.
Siempre que realice la limpie-
za del aparato, tenga la precau-
ción de desconectarlo.
- No manipule el aparato con las
manos mojadas.
- Si el cable de alimentación está
dañado, este debe ser sustituido
en uno de nuestros talleres de
reparación o por personal cualifi-
cado con el fin de evitar un peligro.
- No utilice este aparato en las
inmediaciones de una bañera,
de una ducha o de una piscina.
Mando selector de potencias
Mando termostato
El termostato regulable es el encar-
gado de establecer y mantener la
temperatura de bienestar deseada.
Las posiciones intermedias del
mando del termostato, correspon-
den a diferentes niveles de tempera-
tura. Si la temperatura del ambiente
es elevada, es normal que el ter-
mostato desconecte el aparato.
Funcionamiento
1. Compruebe que la tensión de la
red coincide con la indicada en
la placa de características.
2. Tire del cable guardado dentro
del aparato y conecte la clavija
a la toma de corriente. Por tra-
tarse de un aparato de doble
aislamiento no necesita ser
conectado a tierra.

3. Gire el mando del termostato
hasta su máxima posición.
4. Seleccione la potencia deseada
(1000W - 2000W).
5. Una vez que la habitación haya
alcanzado la temperatura desea-
da, gire lentamente el mando del
termostato en sentido contrario
a las agujas del reloj, hasta que
con un suave “clic” se desco-
necte el aparato. A partir de este
momento el calefactor se conec-
tará y desconectará automática-
mente, manteniendo constante
la temperatura de la habitación.
6. Para desconectar el aparato,
sitúe el mando selector de
potencia en la posición O.
Mantenimiento
1. Desconecte el aparato de la red
antes de efectuar cualquier opera-
ción de mantenimiento del aparato.
2. Cada temporada, limpie el polvo
acumulado en el interior hacien-
do pasar un chorro de aire a pre-
sión a través de las rejillas de
entrada y salida del aire. Dicha
limpieza es conveniente que sea
efectuada por un técnico.
3. Limpie regularmente las rejillas
de entrada y salida de aire.
4. No sumerja ni ponga el aparato
debajo el grifo.
5. No desmonte ni manipule el
aparato, ello anularía automáti-
camente la garantía.
6. Si detecta cualquier anomalía,
acuda a la amplia Red de
Servicios Oficiales de S&P.
Nota: Es muy importante que,
como mínimo, una vez al año se
efectúe una limpieza a fondo del
aparato, de esta forma se dismi-
nuyen los posibles riegos de
accidente.
Desconexión por sobrecalenta-
miento
Si se produjera alguna perturba-
ción, el sistema de desconexión
por sobrecalentamiento incorpo-
rado, desconecta automáticamen-
te el aparato. Si esto ocurriera,
debe actuar del siguiente modo:
Desconectar el aparato de la red,
dejarlo enfriar durante 15 minu-
tos, limpiar la rejilla de entrada y
salida, si fuera preciso, hacerlo
con un aspirador. Si después de
estos controles, el aparato no fun-
ciona con normalidad, le rogamos
que acuda a la Red de Servicios
Oficiales S&P.

Read these instructions carefully
before using the appliance.
The TL-31 vertical standing heater
complies with European standards
EN-60335-2-30. Before operation
we advise to check the condition
of the appliance as any manufac-
turing fault is covered by the S&P
guarantee.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
SAFETY WARNINGS
- The heater must not be located
immediately under an electri-
cal socket.
- Do not cover the heater with
objects that prevent the air cir-
culating freely. Obstructing the
airflow increases the risk of
overheating.
- While the heater is in opera-
tion, the cable should not be
right in front of the air outlet.
- Inflammable objects (curtains,
etc.) should not be situated wit-
hin 50 cm of the circle of hot air.
- Always ensure that the air inlet
and outlet grilles are clean.
Before cleaning the appliance
ensure that the unit is discon-
nected from the mains electri-
cal supply.
- Do not handle the appliance
with wet hands.
- If the power supply cable is
damaged, then it must be
replaced in one of our authori-
sed repair workshops and by
authorised personnel in order
not to invalidate the guarantee.
- Do not use this appliance within
the spray zone of a bath, a sho-
wer or a swimming pool.
Power selector control
Thermostat control
The purpose of the adjustable ther-
mostat is to automatically switch the
unit ON and OFF at a selected tem-
perature to maintain a continuous
desired temperature in the surroun-
ding environment. The intermediate
positions of the thermostat control
apply to different temperature levels.
If the room temperature is high, the
thermostat will usually disconnect
the appliance.
Operation
1. Before switching the unit ON,
first check that the electrical
supply voltage coincides with
the voltage indicated on the
product name plate.
2. Extract the cable that is located
inside the appliance and plug it
into the socket. As this is an

appliance with double insulation,
it does not need to be earthed.
3. Turn the thermostat control to
the maximum position.
4. Select the desired power
(1000W - 2000W).
5. When the room has reached
the desired temperature, turn
the thermostat control slowly
anticlockwise until the
appliance switches off, with a
gentle “click”. From now on,
the heater will switch on and
off automatically, maintaining
the room at a constant tempe-
rature.
6. To switch the appliance off, set
the power selector control to
the O position.
Maintenance
1. Disconnect the appliance from
the mains electrical supply befo-
re carrying out any maintenance
work.
2. After any prolonged period of
non operation, we would advi-
se to clean away the dust that
has accumulated inside by
applying ideally using jet of
compressed air through the air
inlet and outlet grid. This clea-
ning operation should be
carried out by a suitably quali-
fied technician.
3. We would always recommend
to regularly clean the air inlet
and outlet grids.
4. Do not immerse the appliance in
water or hold it under the tap.
5. Do not dismantle or interfere
with the appliance, to do so
would invalidate the guarantee.
6. If you detect any anomaly, con-
tact the extensive S&P Official
Service Network.
Note: It is very important to clean
the appliance thoroughly at least
once a year. In this way possible
risks of accident are reduced.
Disconnection due to overheating
In the instance that the unit over-
heats, the thermal overload pro-
tection system operates which
then automatically disconnects
the electrical parts on the applian-
ce from the mains electrical
supply. In such an event, proceed
as follows:
Disconnect the appliance from the
power supply; let it cool down for
15 minutes, clean the inlet and
outlet grid (ideally with a vacuum
cleaner). If the appliance still fails
to work normally after these steps
have been taken, please contact
the S&P Official Service Network.

RECOMMANDATIONS DE SECURITE
- Ne pas installer le radiateur
soufflant directement en des-
sous d'une prise de courant
- Ne pas l’utiliser dans un local
contenant une baignoire, une
douche ou une piscine.
- Ne pas le couvrir avec des
objets pouvant empêcher la
libre circulation de l'air, ni l'u-
tiliser pour sécher du linge. Si
l’appareil est couvert, il existe
un risque d’incendie.
- Ne pas faire passer le câble d'a-
limentation électrique devant la
grille de sortie d'air chaud
- Ne pas placer d'objets inflam-
mables à moins de 50 cm du
flux d'air chaud (rideaux...)
- Ne jamais toucher l'appareil avec
les mains mouillées ou humides
- Ne pas installer les convecteurs
près d’un mur fabriqué en
matériaux combustibles (bois,
plastique, etc..)
- Maintenir les grilles d'entrée et
de sortie d'air, propres. Avant
toutes opérations d’entretien
débrancher l’appareil.
- Si le câble souple d’alimentation
est abîmé, il doit être remplacé
uniquement par un câble ayant
les mêmes caractéristiques et
par un professionnel compétent.
Position du selecteur de puissance
Commande thermostat
La fonction du thermostat réglable
est d’obtenir et maintenir la tempéra-
ture désirée. Les positions intermé-
diaires de la commande du thermos-
tat correspondent aux différents nive-
aux de température auxquels on peut
prétendre. Si la température ambian-
te est élevée, il est normal que le ther-
mostat coupe le radiateur soufflant.
Cette fonction est très utile pour les
lieux que l’on désire préserver du gel.
Fonctionnement
1. Vérifier que la tension du secteur
est compatible avec celle indiquée
sur la plaque caractéristique.
2. Tirer sur le câble placé dans l’ap-
pareil et le brancher à la prise de

courant. Cet appareil est classe
II (double isolation électrique) et
il n’est pas nécessaire de le rac-
corder à la terre
3. Placer la commande du thermos-
tat sur sa position maximale.
4. Sélectionner la puissance désirée
(1000W - 2000W).
5. Quand la température dans la pièce
à chauffer a atteint le niveau dési-
ré, tourner le sélecteur de com-
mande vers la position minimale
du thermostat, jusqu'à ce que
s'entende un léger "clic". En lais-
sant le thermostat sur cette posi-
tion, le convecteur soufflant main-
tiendra la température présélec-
tionnée en se mettant en marche et
en s'arrêtant automatiquement.
6. Pour déconnecter l’appareil, pla-
cer la commande du sélecteur
de puissance sur la position O.
Entretien
1. Débrancher l’appareil du réseau
avant toute opération d’entretien.
2. Nettoyer l’appareil que lorsqu’il
est totalement froid, avec un chif-
fon doux. Ne pas utiliser de pro-
duits abrasifs ni de dissolvants
3. Chaque saison, nettoyer la
poussière accumulée à l’inté-
rieur en passant un jet d’air à
pression à travers des grilles
d’entrée et de sortie d’air. Il con-
vient que ce nettoyage soit
effectué par un technicien.
4. Nettoyer régulièrement les gri-
lles d’entrée et de sortie d’air.
5. Ne jamais immerger le radiateur
soufflant, ni le passer sous le
robinet.
6. Ne pas démonter l'appareil, toutes
manipulations effectuées par une
personne non autorisée, entraîne-
raient l'annulation de la garantie.
7. En cas de défaut, se mettre en
contact avec son distributeur.
Nota: Il est très important d’effec-
tuer, au moins une fois par an, un
nettoyage à fond de l’appareil, ceci
réduira les risques d’accident.
Deconnexion par surchauffe
Le radiateur soufflant est équipé
d'une protection thermique arrê-
tant automatiquement l'appareil
en cas de surchauffe.
Au cas où cela se produirait:
- Placer le sélecteur de puissance
sur la position “0”
- Débrancher l’appareil du réseau
électrique
- Laisser le refroidir 15 minutes
- Vérifier que les grilles d’entrée et
de sortie ne sont pas obstruées.
Si nécessaire les nettoyer avec
un aspirateur.
- Si le problème persiste, mettez-
vous en contact avec votre dis-
tributeur.

- Enquanto o aquecedor estiver em
funcionamento, o cabo não deve-
rá estar diante da saída de ar.

realizar a limpeza do aparelho,

gado de estabelecer e manter a tem-
peratura de bem-estar desejada. As
posições intermédias do comando
do termóstato, correspondem a
diferentes níveis de temperatura. Se
a temperatura do ambiente é eleva-
da, é normal que o termóstato des-
ligue o aparelho.
Funcionamento
Verifique que a tensão da rede
coincide com a indicada na
ficha de características.
2. Puxe o cabo guardado dentro
do aparelho e ligue a ficha na
tomada eléctrica. Por se tratar
de um aparelho de isolamento
duplo não precisa ser ligado à
terra.

3. Gire o comando do termóstato
até a sua posição máxima.
4. Seleccione a potência desejada
(1000W - 2000W).
5. Quando o quarto alcance a tem-
peratura desejada, gire lenta-
mente o comando do termósta-
to no sentido anti-horário, até
que com um suave “clique” se
desligue o aparelho. A partir
deste momento o aquecedor
ligar-se-á e desligar-se-á auto-
maticamente, mantendo cons-
tante a temperatura do quarto.
6. Para desligar o aparelho, colo-
que o comando selector de
potência na posição O.
Manutenção
Desligue o aparelho da rede antes
de realizar qualquer operação de
manutenção do aparelho.
2.Cada temporada, limpe o pó
acumulado no interior fazendo
passar um jacto de ar à pressão
através das grelhas de entrada e
saída do ar. Tal limpeza é conve-
niente que seja efectuada por
um técnico.
3.Limpe regularmente as grelhas
de entrada e saída de ar.
4.Não submirja nem coloque o
aparelho debaixo da torneira.
5.Não desmonte nem manipule o
aparelho, isso anularia automa-
ticamente a garantia.
6. Se detectar qualquer anomalia,
contacte a ampla Rede de
Serviços Oficiais da S&P.
Nota: É muito importante que,
como mínimo, uma vez por ano
se realize uma limpeza a fundo
do aparelho, desta forma dimi-
nuem os eventuais riscos de aci-
dente.
Desconexão por sobreaqueci-
mento
Se se produzir alguma pertur-
bação, o sistema de desconexão
por sobreaquecimento incorpora-
do, desliga automaticamente o
aparelho. Se isto acontecer, deve
actuar da seguinte maneira:
Desligar o aparelho da rede, deixá-
lo arrefecer durante 15 minutos,
limpar a grelha de entrada e saída,
se for preciso, fazer com um aspi-
rador. Se depois destes controlos,
o aparelho não funcionar normal-
mente, é favor consultar à Rede de
Serviços Oficiais da S&P.

VEILIGHEIDSWAARSCHUWINGEN
- De verwarming mag niet juist
onder een stopcontact worden
geplaatst.
- Bedek de verwarming niet met
voorwerpen die de vrije lucht-
circulatie zouden verhinderen.
Bij bedekking is er gevaar voor
oververhitting.
- Terwijl de verwarming werkt,
mag de kabel zich niet voor de
luchtuitgang bevinden.
- Brandgevoelige objecten (gor-
dijnen, etc.) moeten zich op
tenminste 50 cm afstand
bevinden van de hete luchts-
feer.
- Houd de roostertjes voor in- en
uitgaande lucht schoon. Bij het
schoonmaken van het apparaat
moet u steeds uit voorzorg de
stekker uittrekken.
- Manipuleer het apparaat niet
met natte handen.
- Wanneer de voedingskabel bes-
chadigd is, moet deze vervangen
worden in één van onze repara-
tiediensten of door gekwalifice-
erd personeel om zo gevaarlijke
situaties te voorkomen.
- Gebruik dit apparaat niet in de
omgeving van een bad, een
douche of een zwembad.
Bedienings -en keuzeschakelaar
Bediening thermostaat
De regelbare thermostaat controle-
ert en onderhoud de gewenste com-
forttemperatuur. De tussenposities
van de thermostaatbediening komt
overeen met verschillende tempera-
tuurniveaus. Het is normaal dat bij
een hoge omgevingstemperatuur de
thermostaat het toestel uitschakelt.
Werking
1. Vergelijk de netspanning met de
gegevens op het plaatje met
karakteristieken.
2. Trek aan de kabel die in het
apparaat opgeslagen is, en
steek de stekker in het stopcon-
tact. Omdat dit apparaat voor-
zien is van een dubbele isolatie,

is een aardverbinding niet
noodzakelijk.
3. Positioneer de bediening van de
thermostaat in de maximale
stand.
4. Selecteer het gewenste vermogen
(1000W - 2000W).
5. Nadat de kamer de gewenste
temperatuur heeft bereikt, dra-
ait u langzaam de thermostaat-
bediening tegen de klok in, tot
u een zachte 'klik' hoort waar-
mee het apparaat zich uitscha-
kelt. Vanaf nu zal de verwar-
ming automatisch in- en uits-
chakelen om de ingestelde
temperatuur in de kamer cons-
tant te houden.
6. Om het apparaat volledig uit te
schakelen, plaatst u de vermogen-
keuzeschakelaar in de stand O.
Onderhoud
1. Verwijder de stekker uit het
stopcontact voor het uitvoeren
van om het even welke onder-
houdswerk.
2. Verwijder ieder jaar het binne-
nin opgehoopte stof met pers-
lucht via de roostertjes voor in-
en uitgaande lucht. Het is aange-
wezen dat dit wordt uitgevoerd
door een technicus.
3. Houd de roostertjes voor in- en
uitgaande lucht schoon.
4. Dompel het apparaat niet onder,
of breng het niet onder de kraan.
5. Demonteer of manipuleer het
apparaat niet, dit heeft trouwens
het automatisch vervallen van de
garantie voor gevolg.
6. Als u een probleem vaststelt,
neem dan contact op met het
Netwerk van Erkende Herstellers
van S&P.
Opmerking: Het is zeer belangrijk
dat, tenminste één maal per jaar,
een grondige reiniging gebeurt
van het apparaat, zodat de kans
op ongevallen vermindert.
Uitschakeling bij oververhitting
Wanneer één of andere storing
mocht optreden, zal het automa-
tische uitschakelingssysteem bij
oververhitting het apparaat auto-
matisch uitschakelen. Mocht dit
voorkomen, dan moet u als volgt
te werk gaan:
De stekker uit trekken, het appara-
at 15 minuten laten afkoelen, de
ingangs- en uitgangsroostertjes
reinigen, indien nodig met behulp
van een stofzuiger. Als na deze
controles het apparaat nog steeds
niet normaal werkt, verzoeken wij
u zich te wenden tot het Netwerk
van Erkende Herstellers van S&P.

Si consiglia di verificare lo stato e il
funzionamento del dispositivo
quando lo si toglie dall'imballaggio,
poiché qualsiasi difetto di fabbrica

AVVERTENZE RELATIVE ALLA
SICUREZZA
- Il radiatore non deve essere
collocato appena sotto una
presa di corrente.
- Non coprire il radiatore con
oggetti che impediscano la
libera circolazione dell'aria. Se
viene coperto, si può surriscal-
dare.
- Quando il radiatore sta funzio-
nando, il cavo non si deve tro-
vare dinanzi all'uscita dell'aria.
- Non ci devono essere oggetti
infiammabili (tende, ecc.) a
meno di 50 cm dalla circolazio-
ne dell'aria calda.
- Mantenere pulite le griglie di
entrata ed uscita dell'aria.
Ogniqualvolta si effettua la pulizia
del dispositivo, bisognerà adotta-
re la precauzione di scollegarlo.
- Non manipolare il dispositivo
con le mani bagnate.
- Se il cavo di alimentazione
fosse danneggiato, dovrà esse-
re sostituito presso una delle
nostre officine di riparazione o
da personale qualificato per
evitare pericoli.
- Non utilizzare questo dispositi-
vo nelle vicinanze di una vasca
da bagno, di una doccia o di
una piscina.
Comando selettore di potenze
Comando termostato
Il termostato regolabile fissa e man-
tiene la temperatura di benessere
desiderata. Le posizioni intermedie
del comando del termostato corris-
pondono a diversi livelli di tempera-
tura. Se la temperatura ambiente è
alta, è normale che il termostato
scolleghi il dispositivo.
Funzionamento
1. Verificare che la tensione della
rete coincida con quella indica-
ta nella targhetta delle caratte-
ristiche.
2. Tirare il cavo avvolto all'interno del
dispositivo e collegare la spina alla
presa di corrente. Dal momento

che si tratta di un dispositivo con
doppio isolamento non è necessa-
rio collegarlo a terra.
3. Girare il comando del termosta-
to fino alla sua posizione mas-
sima.
4. Selezionare la potenza desidera-
ta (1000W - 2000W).
5. Una volta che la stanza abbia
raggiunto la temperatura desi-
derata, ruotare lentamente il
comando del termostato in
senso antiorario, fino ad ascol-
tare un leggero “clic” che indi-
ca lo scollegamento del dispo-
sitivo. A partire da tale
momento il radiatore si colleg-
herà e scollegherà automatica-
mente, mantenendo costante
la temperatura della stanza.
6. Per scollegare il dispositivo,
collocare il comando di selezio-
ne della potenza in posizione O.
Manutenzione
1. Scollegare il dispositivo dalla
rete prima di realizzare qualsiasi
operazione di manutenzione del
dispositivo.
2. Ogni stagione, pulire dalla pol-
vere accumulata all'interno con
un getto d'aria a pressione
attraverso le griglie di entrata e
uscita dell'aria. Tale pulizia è
opportuno che la realizzi un tec-
nico.
3. Pulire regolarmente le griglie di
entrata ed uscita dell'aria.
4. Non immergere né collocare il
dispositivo sotto il rubinetto.
5. Non smontare né manipolare il
dispositivo poiché ciò annullerà
automaticamente la garanzia.
6. Se si dovesse rilevare qualsiasi
anomalia, rivolgersi alla vasta
Rete di Servizi Ufficiali di S&P.
Nota: È molto importante che,
per lo meno una volta all'anno,
venga realizzata una pulizia
approfondita del dispositivo per
diminuire i possibili rischi di

Scollegamento per surriscalda-
mento
Se si dovesse verificare qualche
problema, il sistema di scollega-
mento per surriscaldamento
incorporato spegnerà automatica-
mente il dispositivo. Se ciò doves-
se avvenire, agire nel seguente
modo:
Scollegare il dispositivo dalla rete,
lasciarlo raffreddare per 15 minu-
ti, pulire la griglia di entrata e usci-
ta, se necessario, farlo con un
aspiratore. Se dopo questi contro-
lli, il dispositivo non dovesse fun-
zionare con normalità, la preghia-
mo di rivolgersi alla Rete di Servizi
