sprayingofchemicals.
HandSprayerSafety
•Donotaimthehandsprayeratanypersonoranimal.
Fluidsunderhighpressurecanpenetrateskinandcause
severeinjury,possiblyresultinginamputationordeath.
Hotliquidsandchemicalscanalsocauseburnsorinjury.
Ifanypartofthebodycomesincontactwiththespray
stream,immediatelyconsultaphysicianfamiliarwith
injecteduidinjuries.
•Donotplaceyourhandoranyotherpartofyourbodyin
frontofthespraynozzle.
•Donotleavetheequipmentunderpressurewhenyou
arenotpresent.
•Donotusethehandsprayerifthehose,triggerlock,
nozzle,oranyotherpartisdamagedormissing.
•Donotusethehandsprayerifthereareanyleaksinany
hoses,ttings,orothercomponents.
•Donotspraynearpowerlines;thespraystreamcould
contactthepowerlinesandgiveyouapotentiallyfatal
electricalshock.
•Donotdrivewhilesprayingwithahandsprayer.
•Wearrubbergloves,safetygoggles,andafull-body
protectivesuitwhensprayingchemicalswiththehand
sprayer.
•Lightningcancausesevereinjuryordeath.Iflightning
isseenorthunderisheardinthearea,donotoperate
themachine;seekshelter.
