What is INASET R2?
NEC INASET R2 desktop terminals deliver traditional business

INASET R2 Overview
INASET R2 provides the ability to run basic applications that are either
embedded in the INASET R2 terminal, or downloaded from the network.
The INASET R2 also includes a web browser with optional Telephony
Transformation Gateway. The two “application mode” capabilities are:
• Network Application Mode
— Designed to implement multiple network-based applications
developed by NEC or other third parties using the INASET R2’s
“application keys”. The NEC INASET Software Developer’s Kit
(SDK) describes how to configure the application keys to load
applications and launch URLs using a simple XML file.

implementation of integrated network applications using a wide range of
web-based languages such as: JAVA/JSP, HTML, XML, ASP, CFM, and
PHP.
Telephony Transformation Gateway
The optional Telephony Transformation Gateway (TTG) from Net6
transforms Web pages to fit the specifications of the INASET R2
terminal. The TTG also provides Network-based applications for INASET
R2 users.
