1 Verwendungszweck
1.1 Medizinischer Zweck
Der DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S ist ausschließlich für den Zeitraum des Service und der Probeversor-
gungen zur exoprothetischen Versorgung der oberen Extremität zu verwenden.
1.2 Anwendung
Der DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S kann für ein- oder beidseitig oberarmamputierte Patienten eingesetzt wer-
den. Der DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S ist ausschließlich für Erwachsene einzusetzen.
1.3 Einsatzbedingungen
Der DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S wurde für Alltagsaktivitäten entwickelt und darf nicht für außergewöhnliche
Tätigkeiten wie zum Beispiel Extremsportarten (Freiklettern, Paragleiten, etc.) eingesetzt werden.
1.4 Qualikation des Orthopädie-Technikers
Die Versorgung eines Patienten mit dem DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S darf nur von Orthopädie-Technikern
vorgenommen werden, die von Ottobock durch eine entsprechende Schulung autorisiert wurden.
2 Sicherheitshinweise
Die Sicherheitshinweise sowie Patientenhinweise sind der Gebrauchsanweisung 647G526=all_INT
des 12K110N DynamicArm Plus zu entnehmen.
Eine Nichtbeachtung der Sicherheitshinweise kann zu einer Fehlsteuerung oder Fehlfunktion des
12K110N=50-S DynamicArm Plus und einem daraus resultierenden Verletzungsrisiko für den Patienten
führen.
3 Servicehinweis
Der DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S muss nach jeder Patientenversorgung zur Überprüfung an den autori-
sierten Ottobock Service geschickt werden. Dort wird der komplette DynamicArm überprüft und gegebenenfalls
nachjustiert. Außerdem werden Verschleißteile, wenn nötig, getauscht.
4 Einstellung, Versorgung, Anwendung
Vor der Versorgung des Patienten mit dem 12K110N=50-S DynamicArm Plus ist die Gebrauchsanweisung
647G526=all_INT des 12K110N DynamicArm Plus zu lesen. Diese enthält wichtige zusätzliche Informationen,
die zur Anwendung des 12K110N=50-S DynamicArm Plus dienen.

6 Patientenprothese demontieren
Bevor der DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S an den Patienten angepasst werden kann, muss das Ellbogenpas-
steil des Patienten vom Schaft demontiert werden.
Hinweis! Der DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S ist kompatibel zu Oberarm-Schäften des DynamicArm
Plus 12K110N oder 12K110.

Beispiel: Patientenschaft mit DynamicArm
Plus 12K110N und System-Elektrohand.
Die Prothesenkomponente (System-Elektro-
hand oder den System-Elektrogreifer) drehen,
bis der Handgelenkverschluss entriegelt. Die
Prothesenkomponente abziehen.
Achtung! Der DynamicArm Plus
muss ausgeschaltet sein, bevor
die Prothesenkomponente ent-
fernt wird.
Handrad durch Drehen gegen den Uhrzei-
gersinn auf minimale Kompensation stellen.
Das Einziehen des Bandes wird dadurch
verhindert.
Hinweis: Ein DynamicArm Plus
mit eingezogenem Band darf
nur vom autorisierten Ottobock
Myo-Service repariert werden!

5.1Das Anzugsmoment von 16 Nm
ist dann erreicht, wenn sich die
Innenseiten der Griffe am Haken-
schlüssel berühren.

9 Fertigstellen des DynamicArm Plus
Die Einweg-Schaumstoffhülse über den
DynamicArm Plus schieben.
Anhand des ermittelten Maßes „X“ (siehe
Kap. 6, Punkt 7) die entsprechende Länge
anzeichnen.
Mit einer Schere die Einweg-Schaumstoff-
hülse ablängen.
Die Kabel am Elektro-Dreheinsatz/Koaxial-
stecker anschließen.
Den Elektro-Dreheinsatz/ Koaxialstecker
im Eingussring des Gewinderohres montie-
ren. Siehe dazu die Gebrauchsanweisung
647G526=all_INT.
Die abgelängte Einweg-Schaumstoffhülse
über den DynamicArm Plus schieben.
Die Prothesenkomponente montieren.
Gegebenenfalls den Kosmetikhandschuh
über die System-Elektrohand ziehen.
Bei einer Versorgung mit dem Elektro-Dreh-
einsatz sicherstellen, dass die Drehbewegung
leichtgängig durchgeführt wird.

10 Montage des DynamicArm Plus
Nach dem Anpassen des DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S kann die Montage an den Patientenschaft erfol-
gen.
1. Den Eingussring des 12K110N=50-S wie den Patientenschaft des DynamicArm Plus 12K110N demontieren
(siehe Kapitel 6, Punkt 4–7).
2. Den Patientenschaft auf die Ellbogenkugel aufschrauben. Ggf. die Friktionsschraube soweit drehen, bis der
Schaft auf die Ellbogenkugel aufgeschraubt werden kann (siehe Gebrauchsanweisung 647G526=all_INT).
3. Die Innensechskantschraube entfernen. Anschließend die rote Montageklemme durch die Bandklemme er-
setzen und die Innensechskantschraube wieder eindrehen (siehe Gebrauchsanweisung 647G526=all_INT).
4. Durch Drehen der Friktionsschraube die Friktion des Sichelgelenkes einstellen
(siehe Gebrauchsanweisung 647G526=all_INT).
5. Die Kompensation durch Drehen am Handrad an den Patienten anpassen
(siehe Gebrauchsanweisung 647G526=all_INT).

1 Intended use
1.1 Medical purpose
The 12K110N=50-S DynamicArm Plus is to be used solely for the duration of the service and for trial ttings for
exoprosthetic ttings of the upper limbs.
1.2 Application
The 12K110N=50-S DynamicArm Plus is suitable for unilateral and bilateral above-elbow amputees. The
12K110N=50-S DynamicArm Plus is to be used exclusively for the tting of adults.
1.3 Application conditions
The 12K110N=50-S DynamicArm Plus has been developed for everyday use and must not be used for unusual
activities such as extreme sports (free climbing, paragliding, etc.).
1.4 Prosthetist qualication
The tting of a patient with a 12K110N=50-S DynamicArm Plus may only be carried out by prosthetists who have
been authorized by Ottobock based on completion of a corresponding training course.
2 Safety instructions
Please learn the safety instructions as well as patient information from the 647G526=all_INT Instruc-
tions for Use for the 12K110N DynamicArm Plus .
Failure to follow the safety instructions mentioned below can lead to faulty control or malfunction of
the 12K110N=50-S DynamicArm Plus and result in risk of injuries for the patient.
3 Serviceinformation
The 12K110N=50-S DynamicArm Plus must be sent for examination to the authorized Ottobock Service after
every patient tting. In the service the complete DynamicArm will be examined and possibly readjusted and any
wearing parts will be exchanged if necessary.

6 Disassemble the patient’s prosthesis
Before adapting the 12K110N=50-S DynamicArm Plus to the patient, the patient’s elbow harness must be re-
moved from the socket.

Note ! The 12K110N=50-S DynamicArm Plus is compatible with upper arm sockets of the 12K110N
DynamicArm Plus.

Example: Prosthetic socket with 12K100N
DynamicArm and system electric hand.
Rotate the prosthetic component (system
electric hand or system electric greifer) until
the quick disconnect wrist unlocks. Carefully
pull off the prosthetic components.
Caution! The DynamicArm must
be switched off before removing
the prosthetic components.

Turn the nger wheel counter-clockwise to
set minimum compensation. This will prevent
the band from being pulled in.
Note:
A DynamicArm with a retracted
band must only be repaired by
an authorized Ottobock Myo-
Service provider!
Extend the elbow and lock it with the
Bowden cable. Switch off the Dynami-
cArm .
Remove the band clamp.

Attention: The lifter band should not
be removed from the elbow ball. Fix-
ing the lifter strap in place (e.g. with
a haemostat) is no longer necessary.

Lift the band clamp out.
Insert red assembly clamp.
Tighten the Allen head screw.
Turn the friction screw until the socket can
be screwed off the elbow joint.
Unscrew the socket from the DynamicArm .

Determine the length. Measure the distance
between the front edge of the socket and
the rotation center of the joint. Document
value ‘X’.

8 Length adjustment of the DynamicArm
1. On the basis of the measured length, you
assemble the corresponding version.
2. Screw the threaded tube in or out as re-
quired and adjust the measurement ‘X’ (see
section 6).

next longer version will

4. Tighten the adapter and counter
nut of the threaded tube clockwise
(hand-tight).
5. Clamp the correctly positioned
strap wrench into the vise.
Fix the DynamicArm in the strap
wrench.
First apply the hook wrench to the
adapter (optional) and nally to the
counter nut of the threaded tube.
Pull the nut tight (clockwise) until
the torque moment is reached.
5.1 The torque moment of 16 Nm will
be reached as soon as the han-
dles touch each other at the hook
wrench.

9 Completion of the DynamicArm
Slip the disposable foam cover over the
DynamicArm .
Mark the corresponding length according
to the determined measurement ‘X’ (see
section 6, item 7).
Use scissors to cut-off the disposable
foam cover.
Connect the cables with the electric wrist
rotator/coaxial plug.
Next mount the electric rotator/coaxial plug
into the lamination ring of the threaded tube.
See the 647G526=all_INT Instructions for Use.
Pull the disposable foam cover previously
cut to length over the DynamicArm .
Mount the prosthetic components.
Pull the cosmetic glove over the system
electric hand.
In case of a tting with the electric wrist rota -
tor, make sure that the rotational movement
is working smoothly.

10 Assemble the DynamicArm
After adaptation of the 12K110N=50-S DynamicArm Plus , you can t the prosthesis with the prosthetic socket.
1. Dismantle the lamination ring of the 12K100N=50-S as well as the prosthetic socket of the 12K100N
DynamicArm (see section 6, items 4 – 7).
2. Screw the socket onto the elbow joint. Or turn the friction screw until the socket can be screwed on the
elbow joint (see 647G526=all_INT Instructions for Use).
3. Remove the Allen head screw. Then replace the red assembly clamp with the band clamp and reinstall the
Allen head screws (see 647G526=all_INT Instructions for Use).
4. Turn the friction screw to set the friction of humeral rotation (see 647G526=all_INT Instructions for Use).
5. Adjust compensation to the patient by turning the nger wheel (see 647G526=all_INT Instructions for Use).

1.1 Champ d’application médical
Le coude d’essai DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S est exclusivement destiné à l’appareillage exoprothétique
des membres supérieurs pendant les périodes de révision de la prothèse et l’essai de l’appareillage.
1.2 Utilisation
Le coude DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S peut être utilisé sur des patients amputés de l’un ou des deux bras.
Le coude DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S est exclusivement destiné à des adultes.
1.3 Conditions d’utilisation
Le coude DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S a été conçu pour des activités quotidiennes et ne doit pas, par
conséquent, être utilisé pour des activités inhabituelles comme par exemple les sports extrêmes (escalade libre,
parapente, etc.).
1.4 Qualication de l’orthoprothésiste
L’appareillage d’un patient avec le coude DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S ne doit être effectué que par des
orthoprothésistes agréés par Ottobock et ayant suivi une formation adaptée.
2 Consignes de sécurité
En ce qui concerne les consignes de sécurité ainsi que les consignes destinées au patient, veuillez
vous reporter à la notice d’utilisation 647G526=all_INT du 12K100N.
Le non-respect des consignes de sécurité peut entraîner un contrôle ou un fonctionnement défectueux
du DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S et présenter par conséquent un risque de blessure pour le patient.
3 Consignes d’entretien et de maintenance
À l’issue de chaque appareillage d’un patient, Le coude DynamicArm Plus 12K110N=50-S doit être envoyé pour
vérication au service après-vente agréé d’Ottobock où il fera l’objet d’une révision complète et le cas échéant
de réajustements. Si nécessaire, les pièces d’usure seront remplacées.
