1. Turn worksurface unit upside down. Turn key to the unlocked position. Position hanger bracket assembly so the
lock pin can be inserted into lock channel slot. Loosely secure to worksurface with (3) hex head screws.

2. Place pencil mark on actuator rod guide above center of lock
rod spring. Remove hanger bracket assembly from work surface.

3. Insert pedestal lock pin into hanger bracket assembly slot. Secure with (2) hex head bolts. Pinch spring together
and slide over until center of spring is above pencil mark on actuator rod guide. While adjustment is being made,
make sure lock tab is parallel to side of pedestal. Remove hanger bracket assembly from pedestal and re-assemble
back onto underside of worksurface and tighten attaching screws.

4. If your unit has a back panel please refer to Steelcase Installation
Direction 93-9501201-E. Position pedestal hanger bracket tight
against unit end panel. Punch a 1/8” dia. hole into worksurface
support with an awl. Secure in place with (1) screw.
5. Punch (3) 1/8” dia. holes into worksurface and secure
with (3) screws. End hole is not used when next to an
end panel. This step is typical to step 4.

6. Hook back of pedestal over pedestal hanger bracket flange.
Slowly let front of pedestal down making sure back tabs engage
into slots in pedestal hanger bracket. Insert pedestal lock pin,
into slot in pedestal hanger bracket assembly. Secure pedestal
to worksurface with (2) hex head bolts. Turn unit upright, make
any adjustments to lock by turning rod adjuster clockwise or
counter clockwise. IMPORTANT: Lock tab must be parallel to
side of pedestal when in an unlocked position. Replace drawers
and check locking by pulling out drawers and check locking
by pulling out on drawers. Adjust lock if necessary.
