Functional descriptions
1. LCD
This displays the current informaon of the device on its screen panel. It
displays the wavelength and modulaon of the light source.
2. ON/OFF
This is the power buon that turns the device on and o. To power on the
meter, press and hold the power buon unl informaon appears on the
LCD. Press and hold the power buon again to turn it o.
3. AUTO OFF
While the device is on, press the AUTO OFF buon to enable or disable
the AUTO OFF funcon. If AUTO OFF is enabled, a power icon will appear
in the top le corner of the LCD. When AUTO OFF is enabled, the device
will automacally turn o if there are no operaons performed within 10
minutes.
4. WAVE
Press this buon to select the output wavelength. The available
wavelength values are 1310 nm and 1550 nm (1490 nm is oponal).
5. LIGHT
Press this buon to turn on the backlight for the LCD. While the LCD back-
light is on, press the buon again to turn it o.
6. MODE
Press this buon to switch the modulaon frequency of light source
between CW, 270 Hz, 1000 Hz, and 2000 Hz.
