Recommended power supplies.
- ADC335 (230V input), BS60 (230V input).
- Separate power supply for the control elements.
Wiring
- The distance between the keypad
and the remote electronic can not exceed
more than 50 meters.
- Make sure that the cable is not near by a high
voltage cables (ex: 230V ac).
-Recommended cable between the keypad
and the remote electronics: 2 twisted pairs
(4 wires) SYT1 0.8MM.
Mounting recommendations
Mount the keypad on a at surface to avoid
any vandalism and to insure the best mounting.
In conguration two keypads, keep a minimum
distance of 1m between the two keypads.
Security advice
- For security advice reasons, change
the factory default master code.
- When selecting a master code and user code
avoid simple codes (example : 3 4 5 6 7).
Back EMF protection
To secure the system from back electromagnetic
elds do not forget to mount the varistor
in parallel on the lock.

Verify the distance between the
SOLAR2R keypad and its remote
electronic (Refer to page 2 «Notes and
Recommendations»). Place the back
plate of the SOLAR2R on the wall and
the bracket of the remote electronic
then mark with a pen the hole location
then drill the 2 mounting holes (drill bit
Ø 5 mm and 35 mm hole depth)
and the hole wiring access.
After congurating the reader (Refer
to page 5 «Reader conguration»).
Fasten the SOLAR2R keypad to the
back plate by using the supplied
(M3x8) Torx® screw and T20 Trox
spanner hardware.
Place the foam seal at the back of
the reader. Take care to begin from
the bottom. The foam seal must be
visible (about 2mm) on the top-back
of the reader.
Insert the 2 plastic anchors in the holes.
Place the bracket of the electronic
and screw on the wall using the supplied
M4x30 screws. Slide the box from up
to down on the bracket.
Insert the cable in the hole access
area of the back plate. Insert the
plastic plugs in the mounting holes,
connect the cable (refer to wiring
diagram on page 4).
Insert the cable in the remote electronic
and wire the cable to the terminals.
Do not forget to install the varistor
on the lock (Refer to page 2 «Notes
and Recommendations»).

6] READER CONFIGURATION AND RESETTING THE CONTROLLER
3. Complementary information :
- Green LED ashes on the controller indicate that the connection between the reader
and controller is good.
- The tamper switch activates the relay of the alarm when the keypad is removed. Both
readers are locked out. The red LED lights turns on with a permanent beep during the
time of the lockout.
- The EEPROM memory can be used to restore the memory in case of the product
substitution.
1. Reader conguration :
- On the readers make sure both dipswitches are
positioned to off.
 1readerconguration:
- Press 1B, the reader turns blue and position both dipswitches on the reader to ON.
 2readersconguration:
- Press 1B on the reader 1 and then 2B on the reader 2, then position the dipswitches n°2
of both the readers to ON. On the reader that ends the RS485 link, position the dipswitch
n°1 to ON.

Monteringsrekommendationer
Montera kodlåset på en plan yta för att förhindra
vandalism och för att få bästa möjliga montage.
Om du har två knappsatser, montera dessa med
minst 1 meters mellanrum.
Säkerhets tips
- Av säkerhetsskäl bör den förinställda
standardiserade masterkoden ändras.
- Vid val av masterkod och användarkod, undvik
sekventiella koder (ex: 3 4 5 6 7).
Rekommendation
För att säkra systemet mot
elektromagnetiska fält, koppla in varistorn
parallelt med låsenheten.

Kontrollera avståndet mellan
SOLAR2R knappsatsen och
styrenheten (Se sid 8 «Information
och rekommendationer»)
. Placera
montageplattan till knappsatsen mot
väggen, markera ut hålen med en
penna. Borra sedan två monteringshål
och hål för kabeln. (Ø 5mm diameter
och min. djup 35 mm).
Efter att du kongurerat knappsatsen
(Se sid 11 «Läsare konguration»).
Skruva fast knappsatsen med M3x8
TORX® skruv och T20 nyckel. Sätt
dit skruvens täcklock i nederkant av
knappsatsen.
Placera skumtätningen mellan mon-
tageplattan och väggen.
Skumtätningen skall vara synlig
(ungefär 2mm) på toppen av mon-
tageplattan.
Sätt plastpluggar i de borrade hålen.
Skruva fast styrenhetens monterings-
platta med M4x30 skruvar. För styren-
heten uppifrån och ner för att haka
fast den på monteringsplattan.
För igenom kabeln genom hålet i
montageplattan, sätt i pluggarna
och skruva fast montageplattan.
Anslut kablarna till knappsatsen (Se
sid 10 «Kopplingsschema»).
För in kabeln i styrenheten och anslut
med kopplingsplintarna. Glöm inte
installera varistorn (Se sid 8 «Infor-
mation och rekommendationer»).

3. Kompletterande information :
- Om den gröna LED blinkar på styrenheten indikerar det att anslutningen mellan knappsat-
sen och styrenheten är OK.
- Sabotagekontakten på knappsatsen aktiverar larmreläet om knappsatsen plockas ned. Båda
knappsatserna låser sig och den röda LED lampan tänds och ett konstant pip hörs.
- Det inbyggda EEPROM minnet kan användas för att återskapa programmeringen om
styrenheten går sönder.
1. Kongurera knappsatser :
- Försäkra dig om att dipswitcharna på
knappsatserna står i läge OFF
 1knappsats:
- Tryck 1B, läsaren lyser blått och ställ båda dipswitcharna i läge ON.
 2knappsatser:
- Tryck 1B på knappsats 1 och 2B på knappsats 2, ställ sedan dipswitch n°2 på båda
knappsatserna i läge ON. På den sista knappsatsen i RS485 anslutningen, ställ dipswitch
n°1 i läge ON.
2. Återställ styrenheten :
