1. BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSER GEBRAUCH
INHALT
Das Ladegerät ist zum Auaden von oenen und einer Vielzahl von geschlossenen, wartungsfreien Blei-Säure-Akkus
(Batterien) und Lithiumbatterien (LiFe) geeignet:
• NassbatterienWET (Blei-Säure-Batterien mit Flüssig-Elektrolyt)
• AGM-Batterien (Elektrolyt in Glasfaservlies)
• Gel-Batterien (geleeartiges Elektrolyt)
• MFWartungsfreie Blei-Säure-Batterien
Das Batterieladegerät verfügt über spezielle Ladeprogramme für AGM- und Lithiumbatterien.
Andere Batterien dürfen mit diesem Gerät nicht geladen werden.
Das Ladegerät darf nicht als Starthilfe verwendet werden. Laden Sie zuerst die Batterie des Fahrzeugs vollständig auf,
und entfernen Sie das Ladegerät bevor Sie das Fahrzeug starten.
Das Ladegerät darf nicht als Gleichstromquelle oder für andere Zwecke verwendet werden.
Das Batterieladegerät ist für den Einsatz in trockener und geschützter Umgebung bei Temperaturen von -5 °C bis
+40°C ausgelegt.
Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Kinder und Personen mit eingeschränkten geistigen Fähigkeiten oder
ohne erforderliches Fachwissen benutzt zu werden. Kinder sind von dem Gerät fernzuhalten.
Das Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt.
Zum bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch gehört auch die Beachtung aller Informationen in dieser Anleitung, insbe-
sondere die Beachtung der Sicherheitshinweise. Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß und

4. SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
• Halten Sie Kinder fern und lassen Sie Kinder dieses Gerät nicht bedienen!

• Manipulieren oder zerlegen Sie das Gerät nicht!
• Verwenden Sie zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit ausschließlich Zubehör oder Ersatzteile, die in der Anleitung
angegeben sind, oder deren Verwendung durch den Hersteller empfohlen wird!

anderenfalls könnten Sie sich verletzen oder das Gerät könnte beschädigt werden.

• Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose an. Die Spannung muss mit
der Angabe auf demTypenschild des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
• Klemmen Sie das Netzkabel nicht ein und schützen Sie es vor scharfen Kanten, Feuchtigkeit, Hitze oder
Öl. Das Netzkabel kann nicht ersetzt werden. Bei Beschädigung des Kabels ist das Gerät zu verschrotten.
• Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb oder ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker, wenn es beschädigt ist oder
wennderVerdachtaufeinenDefekt besteht.NehmenSieindiesenFällen KontaktzuunserenTechnikern auf.
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird.
• Halten Sie das Verpackungsmaterial, besonders Folien und Folienbeutel, von Kindern fern. Es besteht
Erstickungsgefahr.
• Entfernen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme alle Schutzfolien vom Gerät.
• Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass es Sie nicht behindert und niemand versehentlich daran ziehen kann.
• Klemmen Sie das Batterieladegerät nach dem Ladevorgang von der Stromversorgung ab.
• Bewahren Sie das Ladegerät an einem für Kinder und unbefugte Personen unerreichbaren Ort auf.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von brennbarem Material oder in einer explosionsgefährdeten
Umgebung.
• Tragen Sie immer geeignete Arbeitskleidung, Schutzhandschuhe und Schutzbrille. Batteriesäure
ist ätzend! Evtl. Säurespritzer sofort mit viel Wasser gründlich abspülen, ggf. Arzt aufsuchen. Wenn
Batteriesäure in die Augen gelangt, sofort wenigstens 10 Minuten unter laufendem Wasser auswaschen
und Arzt aufsuchen
• DeckenSiedas Ladegerätnichtab,da es sonstzurÜberhitzungundsomit zueinerBeschädigungkommen
kann. Stellen Sie das Ladegerät im Betrieb nicht auf eine isolierende Unterlage (z.B. Styropor) – Gefahr
von Hitzestau!
• Wenn Sie eine Fahrzeugbatterie in eingebauten Zustand auaden möchten, stellen Sie zuerst das
Fahrzeug sicher ab, ziehen Sie die Parkbremse an und schalten Sie die Zündung aus. Klemmen Sie die
Batterie vom Bordnetz Ihres Fahrzeugs ab. Lesen Sie dazu im Handbuch Ihres Fahrzeugs nach oder fragen
Sie Ihre Fachwerkstatt.
• Zum Entfernen des Batterieladegerätes ziehen Sie als erstes den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und

beachten Sie die Reihenfolge beim Abklemmen. So vermeiden Sie Funkenbildung. Da beim Laden
hochexplosives Knallgas entsteht, ist dies zu Ihrem Schutz äußerst wichtig.
• Fassen Sie das Netzkabel beim Abziehen aus der Steckdose ausschließlich am Netzstecker an.
• Setzen Sie das Ladegerät nicht der Nähe von Feuer, Hitze und lang andauernder Temperatureinwirkung
über +40°C aus!
• Lassen Sie das Ladegerät während des Ladevorgangs nicht unbeaufsichtigt.
• Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung auf und geben Sie sie an andere Benutzer weiter.

6.2 VORBEREITUNG
Reinigen Sie die Batteriepole von Staub und Korrosionsrückständen.
Nur für oene Batterien: Entfernen Sie die Verschlussstopfen der Batteriezellen. Kontrollieren Sie den
Flüssigkeitsstand in den Zellen, lesen Sie dazu in der Bedienungsanleitung Ihrer Batterie nach. Füllen Sie maximal
nur so viel destilliertes Wasser auf, bis der Minimum-Füllstand erreicht ist. Die Flüssigkeit dehnt sich während des
Ladevorgangs aus und die Batterie kann überlaufen. Lassen Sie die Zellen der Batterie bis zum Ende des Ladevorgangs
geönet.
Bei geschlossenen und wartungsfreien Batterien befolgen Sie ganz genau die Anweisungen des Batterieherstellers.
6.3 ANSCHLIESSEN DES BATTERIELADEGERÄTES
6.4 LADEN DER BATTERIE
StellenSiesicher, dass das LadegerätnichtandieNetzsteckdose angeschlossen ist und das Ladekabel nicht
mit dem Batterieladegerät verbunden ist.
Schließen Sie grundsätzlich zuerst das rote Pluskabel (+) des Ladegerätes an den Pluspol der Batterie an. Danach
schließen Sie das schwarze Minuskabel (-) an den Minuspol der Batterie an. Wenn Sie die Batterie in eingebauten
Zustand auaden, schließen Sie das schwarze Minuskabel (-) an der Karosserie (blanke Stelle) an, weit entfernt von
der Batterie,Vergaser und Kraftstoeitungen. Halten Sie diese Reihenfolgen immer ein.
Stecken Sie jetzt das Netzkabel (Position A in der Übersicht) des Batterieladegerätes in die Steckdose. Die Hinter-
grundbeleuchtung des Displays (Position D in der Übersicht) wird aktiviert. Im Display wir die Batteriespannung
(Position 1 in der Übersicht) angezeigt.
ACHTUNG
Wenn im Display die Fehlermeldung„Er 1“ erscheint, sind die Ladekabel falsch angeschlossen. Entfernen
Sie die Polzangen von den Batteriepolen, und schließen Sie sie korrekt an
ACHTUNG
Umden Ladevorgangzustarten, drückenSie den AuswahlschalterfürdasLadeprogramm(Position C inder Übersicht)
sooft, bis das von Ihnen gewünschte Ladeprogramm eingestellt ist. Wird kein Ladeprogramm eingestellt, wird der
Ladevorgang nicht gestartet. Das zuletzt eingestellte Ladeprogramm wird gespeichert, und kann bei der nächsten
Benutzung des Ladegerätes durch einmaliges Drücken des Auswahlschalters gestartet werden. Die Ladeprogramme
werden in folgender Reihenfolge durchgeschaltet (siehe auch Bild 2 in der Übersicht):
1. 12V-Auto 6. 12V-Motorrad-Winter
2. 12V-Auto-Winter 7. 12V-Motorrad-AGM
3. 12V-Auto-AGM 8. 12V-Motorrad-Lithium
4. 12V-Auto-Lithium 9. 6V-Modus
5. 12V –Motorrad 10. 6V-Winter-Modus
6.4.1 AUSWAHL DES LADEPROGRAMMS
Nach dem Starten des Ladevorgangs kann das Ladeprogramm nicht mehr geändert werden. Soll mit einem anderem,
als dem eingestellten Ladeprogramm, geladen werden, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker des Ladegerätes und trennen Sie
die Batterie vom Ladegerät (siehe Abschnitt 6.5).Warten Sie ca. 30 Sekunden, bis das Display dunkel ist, und gehen
Sie dann gemäß Abschnitt 6.4.1 vor und stellen Sie das korrekte Ladeprogramm ein.
Abhängig vom Ladezustand der Batterie passt das Gerät den Ladestrom an, um die angeschlossene Batterie optimal
zu laden. Nur während der Hauptladephase wird mit dem angegebenen maximalen Ladestrom geladen. Kurz bevor
die volle Ladekapazität erreicht wird, wird mit geringerem Ladestrom gearbeitet. So wird die Batterie schonend und
optimal bis zur vollen Kapazität geladen (siehe auch Abschnitt 6.4.4).
Das im Display angezeigte, animierte Batteriesymbol (Position 2 in der Übersicht) zeigt an, dass die Batterie geladen
wird.

6.4.3 FEHLERMELDUNGEN
Fehlermeldung im 6 V Modus. Die Batteriespannung liegt unter 5,5 V, nach einer Lade-
zeit von 5 Stunden liegt die Batteriespannung unter 6 V. Die Batterie ist wahrscheinlich
defekt, lassen Sie die Batterie überprüfen.
Keine Batterie angeschlossen, Batterie falsch angeschlossen,
Batteriespannung passt nicht zum eingestellten Ladeprogramm, Überhitzung.
Schließen Sie die Batterie korrekt an, wählen Sie das passende Ladeprogramm, trennen
Sie das Ladegerät von der Batterie, lassen es abkühlen.
Der automatische Ladevorgang folgt für Blei-Säure-Batterien (Nass- AGM- oder Gelbatterien) einer 9-stugen
Kennlinie, um die Batterie schonend und optimal zuladen, siehe Bild 3.
Für Lithium-Batterien verwendet das Ladegerät eine 7-stuge Kennlinie, die der Charakteristik dieses Batterietyps
angepasst ist, siehe Bild 4.

6.5 ENTFERNEN DES LADEGERÄTS
Trennen Sie das Ladegerät vom Versorgungsnetz. Entfernen Sie die Polzangen von der Batterie, zuerst minus dann
plus.
Lassen Sie die Batterie abkühlen.
Nur für oene Batterien: Füllen Sie die Zellen mit destilliertem Wasser bis zum vom Batteriehersteller genannten
Füllstand auf.Verschließen Sie die Batteriezellen wieder mit denVerschlussstopfen.
Ziehen Sie als erstes den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und beachten Sie die Reihenfolge beim
Abklemmen. So vermeiden Sie Funkenbildung. Da beim Laden hochexplosives Knallgas entsteht, ist dies
zu Ihrem Schutz äußerst wichtig.

7. WARTUNG UND PFLEGE
7.1 WARTUNG
Das Batterieladegerät ist bei bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch wartungsfrei.
Reinigen Sie die Polzangen nach jedem Ladevorgang. Entfernen Sie jegliche Batteriesäurespritzer von den Polzangen,
um Korrosion zu vermeiden. Reinigen Sie das Gerät vorsichtig mit einem trockenenTuch. Benutzen Sie keine Flüssig-
keiten oder chemischen Reinigungsmittel. Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Flüssigkeiten ein. Lassen Sie niemals
Flüssigkeiten über das Gerät laufen.
Wickeln Sie die Kabel ordentlich auf, bevor Sie das Gerät lagern, um Beschädigungen an den Kabeln und dem Gerät zu
vermeiden. Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und sauberen Ort.

• If you wish to charge a vehicle battery in the installed state, rst park the vehicle safely, put on the

To do this, consult the manual for your vehicle, or ask your specialist workshop.
• To remove the battery charger, rst disconnect the mains plug from the socket and observe the sequence
when disconnecting. This will prevent sparks from forming. As highly explosive oxyhydrogen gas is
produced during charging, this is extremely important for your protection.
• When pulling the mains cable out of the socket, only hold the plug.
• Never expose the charger to the vicinity of re, heat and extensive temperatures over +40°C.
• Do not leave the charger unattended during charging.
• Store these instructions carefully and, if necessary, pass them on to other users.

Before using the unit, make sure that you have read the operating instructions for the battery as well as for
the vehicle and that you have understood all the safety instructions.

6.2 PREPARATION
Clean the battery poles to remove dust and corrosion residue.
Only for open batteries: Remove the plugs of the battery cells. Check the liquid level in the cells, consult the ope-
rating instructions of your battery for more information. Replenish only sucient distilled water to ensure that the
minimum lling level is achieved.The liquid will expand during the charging process and the battery may overow.
Leave the cells of the battery open until the end of the charging process.
In the event of closed and maintenance-free batteries, please follow the instructions of the battery manufacturer
to the letter.
6.3 CONNECTING THE BATTERY CHARGER
6.4 CHARGING THE BATTERY
Make sure that the charger is not connected to the mains socket and that the charging cable is not con-
nected to the battery charger.
Always rst connect the red plus cable (+) of the charger to the plus pole of the battery.Then connect the black minus
cable (-) to the minus pole of the battery. If you wish to charge the battery while it is installed, connect the black
minus cable (-) to the chassis, far away from the battery, carburettor and fuel lines. Always stick to this sequence.
Now plug the mains cable (position A in the overview) of the battery charger into the socket. The backlight of the
display (position D in the overview) is activated.The display shows the battery voltage (position 1 in the overview).
CAUTION
If the error message„Er 1“ appears in the display, the charging cables are connected incorrectly. Remove
the pole clamps from the battery poles and connect them correctly
CAUTION
To start the charging process, press the selection switch for the charging programme (position C in the overview)
repeatedly until the charging programme you want is set. If no charging programme is set, the charging process will
not start. The last charging programme set is saved and can be started the next time the charger is used by pressing
the selection switch once. The charging programmes are switched through in the following order (see also Fig. 2 in
the overview):
1. 12V-Car 6. 12 V-Motorbike-winter
2. 12V-Car-winter 7. 12V-Motorbike-AGM
3. 12V-Car-AGM 8. 12V-Motorbike-Lithium
4. 12V-Car-Lithium 9. 6V-Mode

6.4.1 SELECTING THE CHARGING PROGRAMME
Once charging has started, the charging programme can no longer be changed. If you want to charge with a charging
programme other than the one set, unplug the charger from the mains and disconnect the battery from the charger
(see section 6.5). Wait approx. 30 seconds until the display is dark and then proceed according to section 6.4.1 and set
the correct charging programme.
Depending on the battery‘s state of charge, the unit adjusts the charging current to optimally charge the connected
battery. Only during the main charging phase is charging carried out with the specied maximum charging current.
Shortly before the full charging capacity is reached, a lower charging current is used. In this way, the battery is gently
and optimally charged to full capacity (see also section 6.4.4)
The animated battery symbol shown in the display (position 2 in the overview) indicates that the battery is being
charged.

6.4.3 ERROR MESSAGES
Error message in 6 V mode. The battery voltage is below 5.5 V, after a charging time of
5 hours the battery voltage is below 6 V. The battery is probably defective, have the
battery checked.
No battery connected, battery connected incorrectly, battery voltage does not match the
charging programme set, overheating.
Connectthebatterycorrectly,selecttheappropriatecharging programme,disconnectthe
charger from the battery, let it cool down.
The automatic charging process for lead-acid batteries (wet AGM or gel batteries) follows a 9-stage characteristic
curve in order to charge the battery gently and optimally, see Fig. 3.
For lithium batteries, the charger uses a 7-step characteristic curve that is adapted to the characteristics of this battery
type, see Fig. 4

6.5 REMOVING THE CHARGER
Disconnect the charger from the mains power supply.
Disconnect the pole callipers from the battery, rst minus then plus.
Allow the battery to cool down.
Only for open batteries: Fill the cells with distilled water up to the level specied by the battery manufacturer.
Close the battery cells with the stoppers.
First pull the plug out of the socket and observe the sequence for disconnection. This prevents sparks from
forming. Since charging generates a detonating gas, this is particularly important for the sake of your
safety.

7.1 MAINTENANCE
If used correctly, the device is maintenance-free.
Clean the pole callipers every time the charging procedure is completed. Remove all splashed battery acid from the
pole callipers to prevent corrosion. Clean the device carefully with a dry cloth. Do not use liquids or chemical cleaning
agents. Never submerge the device in liquids. Never allow liquid to ow over the device.
Before storing the device, roll up the cables properly using the designated hook in order to prevent damages to the
cables and device. Store the device in a clean and dry place.

1. UTILISATION CONFORME
SOMMAIRE
Le chargeur est conçu pour recharger les batteries plomb-acide ouvertes et de nombreuses batteries plomb-acide
fermées sans entretien et de batteries au lithium (LiFe) :
• Batteries gel (électrolyte gélié)
• Batterie AGM (électrolyte dans de la bre de verre)
• Batteries plomb-acide sans entretien (MF)
Le chargeur de batterie dispose de programmes de charge spéciaux pour les batteries AGM et au lithium.
Les autres types de batteries ne doivent pas être rechargées avec cet appareil.
Le chargeur ne peut pas être utilisé comme aide au démarrage. Chargez d‘abord complètement la batterie du véhicule
et retirez le chargeur avant de démarrer le véhicule.
Le chargeur ne doit pas être utilisé comme source de courant électrique continu ou à d‘autres ns.
Le chargeur est conçu pour être utilisé dans un environnement sec et protégé avec des températures allant de
-5 °C à +40 °C.

• Portez toujours des vêtements de travails, gants de protection et lunettes de protection adaptés. L‘acide
de la batterie est corrosif ! Le cas échéant, rincez immédiatement avec beaucoup d‘eau, consulter un
médecin si besoin. Si de l‘acide de la batterie parvient jusqu‘aux yeux, rincer immédiatement sous l‘eau
pendant au moins 10 minutes et consulter un médecin.
• Nerecouvrez pas le chargeur,celapourraitprovoquerunesurchaue et endommager l‘appareil. Ne placez
pas le chargeur sur une surface isolante pendant l‘utilisation (par exemple, du polystyrène) – Risque de
surchaue.
• Si vous souhaitez recharger la batterie de votre véhicule déjà installée, commencez par arrêter le véhicule
en toute sécurité, serrez le frein à main et coupez le contact. Déconnectez la batterie (Pôle positif) du

• Pour retirer le chargeur de batterie, débranchez d‘abord la che secteur de la prise et respectez l‘ordre de
débranchement. Cela évitera les étincelles. Étant donné que du gaz oxyhydrogène hautement explosif est
