Les prolongateursAERGO, compatibles avec la gamme de cintre LOOKAEROFLATBAR, ont été développés
et conçu suivant les spécications du bureau d’études LOOK an d’offrir la meilleure ergonomie possible
et un aérodynamisme optimal. La gamme AEROFLAT BAR offre de multiples solutions, répondant aux
besoins des disciplines de triathlon, de contre-la-montre, et aux épreuves de Poursuite sur piste.
Les prolongateurs AERGO offrent des possibilités de réglages innies, et la très large et concave surface
d’appui des repose-bras permet un confort et un maintien parfait des avant-bras.
Ses formes longeant les avant-bras et s’intégrant dans la paume des mains, permettent une continuité
aérodynamique entre le cycliste et sa machine. Les trainées aérodynamiques sont réduites, et la
performance du cycliste augmentée.
Enn, les sections de forme optimisée et les bres de carbone haut module permettent une rigidité extrême,
à l’épreuve des plus puissants cyclistes sur piste.

POSITIONNEMENT
STARTERS DE L’ AEROFLAT BAR
Les cintres AEROFLAT BAR sont réversibles, et permettent ainsi deux positions de hauteur des starters.
Avant de réaliser le réglage des prolongateurs, il est conseillé de dénir le sens de montage du cintre, et
réaliser son montage, une fois le routage réalisé.
Il est possible de raccourcir la longueur des starters par recoupe.
(Cf. encadré CONSEILS POUR LA RECOUPE page 9).
RÉGLAGE DES REPOSE-BRAS
Vous avez la possibilité de régler vos repose-bras en translation
dans les 3 directions, ainsi qu’en rotation dans deux directions :
- Avant < > arrière (« Armpad Reach »)
- Gauche < > droite. (« Armpad Width »)
- Haut < > bas (« Armpad Stack »)
- Pincement intérieur < > extérieur (« Armpad toe-in »)
- Inclinaison horizontal < > incliné (« Armpad Tilt »).
Réglage de l’avancement « Armpad REACH »
Il est possible d’avancer-reculer les repose-bras sur une plage totale de 55mm.
Pour régler, il suffit de desserrer les vis (18), régler la position, et resserrer les vis au couple de 8Nm.
Les platines (11) possèdent une marque pour se repérer sur la règle graduée des repose-bras (2).
Important : L’ensemble des
vis à tête fraisée M5 (17-18-19-
20) doivent être préalablement
recouvert d’une goutte de frein-
let normal (type Loctite bleue
243) puis serrées avec une clé
Torx T25 au couple de 8Nm.
Note: Si vous n’arrivez pas à atteindre votre position, il est possible d’utiliser une potence de longueur
différente.

POSITIONNEMENT
Réglage de l’écartement des repose-bras (« Armpad Width »)
Il existe 11 positions possibles pour l’écartement des repose-bras de 97.5mm à 205mm (centre à centre)
d’écartement de an de s’adapter à la morphologie et au souhait du cycliste.
Pour atteindre ces différentes positions, il faut positionner les repose-bras (2) et les supports de berceau
de repose-bras (9) à droite ou à gauche. Enn, la position des vis (18) dans les berceaux (9) permet
d’affiner le réglage précisément.

POSITIONNEMENT
Réglage de la hauteur « Armpad STACK »
Le cintre AEROFLAT BAR est livré avec un ensemble de pièces permettant d’obtenir différentes hauteurs
de repose-bras. Il est également livré avec un mini bridge qui permet d’augmenter la rigidité entre les deux
repose bras. Ce bridge a une épaisseur de 5mm. Il faut en tenir compte lors de l’empilement des pièces
an d’obtenir la hauteur souhaitée.
Positionner les inserts rapportés en position
inférieure, puis positionner les cales entre le
cintre et les supports de berceau de repose-
bras selon vos souhaits. Serrer les vis au couple
de 8Nm.
Utiliser les vis de longueur correspondante aux
cales utilisées, comme indiqué dans le tableau
ci-dessous.
Attention: Ne jamais réaliser le montage
sans les inserts rapportés (5). Même si cela
semble possible de réaliser le montage sans,
le serrage serait inefficace et détériorerait
signicativement le composite du cintre.

POSITIONNEMENT
Réglage du pincement « Armpad Toe-in »
Les prolongateurs AERGO permettent de régler l’angle de pincement entre les deux prolongateurs, an de
trouver le confort optimal pour le coureur jusqu’à un angle de pincement total de 14°.
Pour régler, il suffit de desserrer les vis (18), régler la position, et resserrer les vis au couple de 8Nm.
Réglage de l’inclinaison « Armpad Tilt »
Les prolongateurs AERGO permettent de régler l’angle d’appui des avant-bras an de trouver le confort
optimal pour le coureur.
Pour régler l’inclinaison des repose-bras, desserrer les vis (18), maintenir l’inclinaison du prolongateur à
l’angle souhaité en s’aidant du marquage gradué sur les supports de berceaux (9), puis serrer les vis (18)
progressivement et alternativement jusqu’au couple de 8Nm.
Attention: prendre en compte l’épaisseur du mini bridge (5mm) lors de l’empilement. Le cas échéant
retirer une cale d’épaisseur 5mm pour la remplacer par le mini bridge pour obtenir un serrage satisfaisant.
