DISPOSAL OF RIVETING TOOL
Dispose of the riveting tool in compliance with the national laws in force.
Remove the battery, disassemble the various components and divide them according to their material: steel,
aluminium, plastic, etc.Proceed with scrapping in compliance with the laws in force.
RECYCLAGE DE LA RIVETEUSE
Pour le recyclage de la riveteuse, respecter les dispositions des législations nationales.
Une fois la batterie enlevée, procéder au démontage des différents composants en les triant en fonction de leur
matériau : acier, aluminium, plastique, etc.
Procéder ensuite à sa destruction dans le respect de la législation en vigueur.

Beachten Sie für die Entsorgung der Nietmaschine die gesetzlichen Vorschriften Ihres Landes.

Proceder entonces al desguace respetando la legalidad vigente.

Per lo smaltimento della rivettatrice attenersi alle prescrizioni imposte dalle leggi nazionali.
Dopo aver rimosso la batteria, procedere allo smontaggio dei vari componenti suddividendoli in funzione del
loro materiale: acciaio, alluminio, plastica, ecc. Procedere quindi alla rottamazione nel rispetto delle leggi vigenti.

mesi. Il periodo di garanzia dell'attrezzo decorre dal
momento della sua comprovata ricezione da parte
dell'acquirente.Lagaranziacoprel'utente/acquirente
quando l'attrezzo viene acquistato attraverso un
rivenditoreautorizzatoesoloquandovieneimpiegato
per gli usi per i quali è stato concepito. La garanzia
nonèvalidase l'attrezzo nonvieneutilizzato esenon
viene sottoposto a manutenzione come specificato
nel manuale di istruzione e manutenzione. In caso di
difetti o guasti la FAR S.r.l. si impegna unicamente
a riparare e/o sostituire, a propria discrezione
esclusiva, i componenti giudicati difettosi.
GUARANTEE
FAR riveting tools are covered by a 12-month
warranty. The tool warranty period starts on the
date of delivery to the buyer, as specified in the
relevant document. The warranty covers the user/
buyer provided that the tool is purchased through
an authorized dealer and only if it is used for the
purposes for which it was conceived. The warranty
shall not be valid if the tool is not used or maintained
as specified in the instruction and maintenance
handbook. In the event of defects or failures, FAR
S.r.l. shall undertake solely to repair and/or replace
the components it judges to be faulty.
GARANTIE

mois. La période de garantie de l'outil commence à
partir du moment où il est avéré que son acquéreur
enprendpossession.Lagarantiecouvrel'utilisateur/
acquéreur quand l'outil est acheté chez un revendeur

lesquelles ilaétéconçu.Lagarantie n'estpas valable
si l'outil n'est pas utilisé et s'il n'est pas soumis
à l'entretien tel qu'il est spécifié dans le manuel
d'utilisation et d'entretien. En cas de défauts ou de
pannes, la société FAR S.r.l. s'engage uniquement
à réparer et/ou à remplacer, à sa seule discrétion,
les composants jugés défectueux.

gwarancyjny rozpoczyna się w chwili poświadczonego
odbiorunarzędzia przez klienta.Użytkownikowi/ kupującemu
przysługuje gwarancja, jeśli narzędzie zostało zakupione
u autoryzowanego sprzedawcy i tylko w przypadu jego
użytkowania zgodnie z przeznaczeniem. Gwarancja nie
obowiązuje, jeśli narzędzie nie jest używanie lub jeśli nie jest
poddawane pracom konserwacyjnym opisanym w instrukcji
obsługii konserwacji.Wprzypadkuwadlubusterek,firmaFAR
S.r.l. zobowiązuje się wyłącznie do naprawy i/lub wymiany,

utilizada para los usos previstos según su diseño. La
garantía no es válida si la herramienta no es utilizada
o no es sometida a mantenimiento de conformidad

y mantenimiento. En caso de verificarse defectos o
averías, FAR S.r.l. se compromete únicamente a
reparary/osustituir,asupropiaexclusivadiscreción,
los componentes estimados como defectuosos.

von 12 Monaten gewährt. Der Garantiezeitraum
beginnt in dem Moment, in dem der Käufer das
Gerät nachweislich in Empfang genommen hat. Die
Garantie ist nur gültig, wenn das Gerät bei einem
Vertragshändler erworben undausschließlichzuden
Zweckenverwendet wird,fürdiees konzipiertwurde.
Die Garantie wird ungültig, wenn das Gerät nicht in
Einklang mit den Anweisungen in der Betriebs- und
Wartungsanleitungverwendetundgewartetwird.Die
Firma FARs.r.l.verpflichtetsicheinzigzurReparatur
bzw. zum Austausch der Komponenten, die nach
ihrem ausschließlichen Ermessen für mangelhaft
befunden werden.

any consequence for your and other people’s
security and to allow the best tool work way.

• Only skilled personnel may use the tool.
• Wear safety goggles or masks and work gloves while using
the tool.
• Use the accessories provided and/or the commercial
equipment recommended in the Maintenance chapter for all
maintenance and/or adjustments to the tool.
• The tool is portable; we recommend storing it in its box after
use.
• The tool should be overhauled every six months to ensure
smooth operation.
• Do not perform any repair or clean the tool while it is powered.
• Where possible, we recommend using a safety balancer.
• If the A-weighted emission sound pressure level is more than
70 dB (A), you must use some hearing protections (anti-noise
headset, etc.).
• Keep the workbench and/or work area neat and clean;
untidiness can lead to accidents.
• Do not allow unauthorized person to touch the tools.
• Keep tools clean and in good working condition.
• Make sure all service or setting keys have been removed after
performing repairs and/or adjustments.
• If the tool is dropped, check it carefully for any damage.
• Make sure the work area is free of any obstacle.
• The work area must always be kept neat and well-lit. In
particular, flammable liquids or gases must not be present.
• Do not work in damp or wet areas, and especially not in the
rain.
• Do not use the tool near open flames.
• Use the tool only for its intended purpose; do not risk causing
damage through inappropriate use.
• Stand in a safe, well-balanced position while working. Wear
appropriate shoes.
• Make sure the tool power is suited to the task at hand. Avoid
unnecessary overloads, which are hazardous to the operator
and detrimental to the life-span of the tool itself.
• Follow these instructions closely.
• Store the battery in a safe, dry place.
• If the battery structure is damaged, replace it with a new one.
• Be careful to avoid skin contact if the battery leaks fluid.
• In case of accidental skin contact, wash the area thoroughly
with soap and water and contact a doctor immediately.
• In case of eye contact with the battery fluid, rinse eyes with
abundant running water for ten (10) minutes at least. Contact
a doctor immediately.
• Do not use any battery model other than the one provided.
• Make sure the outer surfaces of the battery are clean and dry
before inserting it in the battery charger.
• Use only battery charger provided by FAR S.r.l. to avoid
sparks, overheating or battery fluid leakage.
• The batteries may be harmful to the environment, and may
explode if exposed to fire or other sources of heat. Do not
litter or incinerate. Dispose of batteries according to current
regulations in your country.

HOW TO USE YOUR RIVETING TOOL (fig. f1-f2-f3-f4)
To install the rivet, hold the riveting button D(f1) down for
at least 0.5 seconds. In the event of a continuous use of the
tool, be sure to let it cool down completely every two battery
replacements.
WARNING!
Keep truncated stems in a specific container.
Dispose of stems properly.
DISPLAY
This riveting tool has a display F(f2) ) with the following
functions:
G- battery charger (b).
H- cycle counter (c).
I- totalizer (t).
The display Fturns on by pressing the riveting button D(f1).
Press ( ) to shift from one function to another.
BATTERY LEVEL
This riveting tool has a display, which indicates the battery
charge level.
L- Maximum battery level (Hi).
M- Minimum battery level (Lo).
The display turns on by pressing the riveting button D(f1).
Replace and charge the battery when it reaches its minimum
level M(f2).
Warning: to increase the battery life, prevent it from flattening
completely.
CYCLE COUNTER
This machine is equipped with a cycle counter and a totalizer,
which are viewed through the display F(f2).
Press ( ) to shift from one function to another.

The cycle counter is useful for the following:
-knowingtheaveragedurabilityoftheclampsandprogramming
their cleaning
- verifying how many rivets are installed during the work cycle
- etc
The cycle counter can display 6 numbers MAX, displayable in
three groups of two figures.
Example: Read 45 cycles
Press ( ) holding it down for 3 seconds to reset the cycle
counter.
The totalizer measures the entire lifespan of the riveting tool
and cannot be reset.

NAIL CONTAINER
Once you insert the rivet to contain the sheared nail, rotate
the riveting tool upwards. This way, the nail will fall inside its
container N (f4).
Warning: make sure that the riveting tool is equipped with the
nail container and prevent storing an excessive number of nails
inside, as this would cause machine malfunctions.
Lower the hook P (f4) to remove the nail container N.
EMPTY REGULARLY
To insert the nail container, position it correctly in its housing
and press until the hook P locks into position.
REPLACING THE BATTERY
To replace the battery E, lower the hook E1 (f3) and pull out
the battery. When reinstalling the battery, pay special attention
to its insertion in the guide and press until the hook E1 locks
into position.

MAINTENANCE AND CHANGE OF SIZE (fig. f5-f6-f7)
WARNING!
Remove the battery from the machine before carrying out
maintenance operations and change of size.
Theextendedutilizationoftherivetingtool cancausetheslipping
of the clamps on the nail due to the deposited impurities. For this
reason,itisnecessarytolubricatetheclampsafterhavingcleaned
them with benzine or derivates. However, if clamps are worn out
andasaconsequencetheirworkingisjeopardized,replacethem.
First remove the head which carries the nozzle Q, by means of
a standard spanner of 27 mm.
Once you remove the tube carrying nozzle, use two commercial
wrenches (17 and 16 mm) to remove the cone Rfrom which the
clamps Swill be removed.
ToreplacethenozzleT,werecommendusingthewrenchprovided
and installing the nozzle previously removed from the riveting
tool on it, so as not to lose it.

BATTERIES
The battery for riveting tool EB 400 may be recharged several times, for a longer life and full power yield.
• Store the battery in a safe, dry place.
• If the battery structure is damaged, replace it with a new one.
• Do not short-circuit the contacts, which may cause fire and explosions. Be careful to avoid skin contact if the battery leaks
fluid.
In case of:
1) Accidental skin contact, wash the area thoroughly with soap and water and contact a doctor immediately.
2) Accidental eye contact, rinse eyes with abundant running water for at least 10 minutes. Contact a doctor immediately.
• Do not use any battery model other than the one provided.
• Make sure the outer surfaces of the battery are clean and dry before inserting it in the battery charger.
• Use only the battery charger supplied by FAR to avoid electric sparks, overheating or battery fluid leakage.
• Batteries may be harmful to the environment and may explode. Do not attempt to open them. Do not expose to fire or other
